Taguchi was used in designing the experiment and Response Surface Methodology was used to evaluate and model the effect of exit barrel temperature (120 - 140?C), barrel screw speed (300 - 420 rpm), and feed moisture content (16-18%) on water absorption index (WAI), water solubility index (WSI), hardness, chewiness, gumminess, and springiness of the extruded snacks. The Pareto plot was used to evaluate the significant extrusion parameters on the functional and textural properties. The WAI and WSI of the extruded snacks ranged between 2.09 and 2.87 (g/g), and 2.12 and 2.59% respectively. The hardness, chewiness, gumminess, and springiness of the extruded snacks ranged between 118.92 and 4054.40 N, 0.06 and 326.00 N, 2.41 and 1509.17 N, and 0.02 and 0.21, respectively. The Pareto plot showed that exit barrel temperature had the most significant influence on WAI and WSI whereas, the quadratic interaction effect of feed moisture content had the most significant influence on the hardness, chewiness, gumminess, and springiness of the extruded snacks. Polynomial regression models were developed for the functional and textural properties with an adequate coefficient of determination (R2) that ranged from 0.74 to 0.99, thus indicating their ability to predict the properties. Conclusively, a hybrid of Taguchi and Response Surface Methodology (RSM) technique was used to establish and predict the influence of extrusion conditions on the functional and textural properties of brown rice-watermelon seeds extruded snacks.","PeriodicalId":7021,"journal":{"name":"Acta Periodica Technologica","volume":"71 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136366661","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It also demonstrates the possible use of large sheep horn in the aerospace industry. It can be utilised as a Thermal Barrier Coating (TBC) in high-pressure compressor blades of jet engines. Because of its poor thermal conductivity and specific heat capacity, it is a superb insulator, and temperatures throughout the TBC take around 10 minutes to match.","PeriodicalId":7021,"journal":{"name":"Acta Periodica Technologica","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68412275","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This disease emerged in December 2019 in Wuhan, China, and quickly developed into a global pandemic with high mortality rates. The magnitude of the pandemic has involved a global collaborative scientific response to develop effective preventive and therapeutic means using both traditional and advanced techniques. However, to date specific therapies for COVID-19 are not well established and only a few vaccines are approved for emergency use. Herbal remedies, especially essential oils (EOs) can boost immunity which plays a decisive role in the initiation and progression of the disease in the preliminary stage of a COVID-19 infection. The low cost and availability of medicinal plants as well as the almost non-existent side effects encourages their widespread use during the pandemic, hence a great need to identify plant extracts for anti-COVID 19 use. Although the majority of studies are done in silico, with little in vivo or in vitro study, we can have an idea for further later experiments.","PeriodicalId":7021,"journal":{"name":"Acta Periodica Technologica","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68412293","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In such manufacturing conditions, the quality of kajmak is usually very variable, nonstandard and out of the limits described by official regulations. In this paper the chemical composition, fatty acid profile, textural and sensory quality of the most used autochthonous kajmak samples (unripened kajmak and mature kajmak from mjesina) were analysed. Although all samples had satisfied quality according to the Serbian regulations, chemical composition and sensory quality revealed some variability between tested kajmak samples. Fat content was higher in mature kajmak than in unripened kajmak. The dominant fatty acid in all samples was palmitic acid (C16:0) and its higher content was observed in unripened kajmak sample, 33.20 %, compared with 29.45% in sample of kajmak from mjesina. In both samples, long-chain acids are the dominant ones. The saturated fatty acids (SFAs) in the tested samples were dominantly present with the share of 64-66%. The content of monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFAs) were in the range of 30.2-31.52 % and most abundant in both samples were oleic acid (18:1c). Unripened kajmak had higher score of sensory characteristics compared to kajmak from mjesine. According to the textural analysis the mature kajmak from mjesina had overall better textural characteristics.","PeriodicalId":7021,"journal":{"name":"Acta Periodica Technologica","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68412240","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

China has to make more efforts to become global-scale leader in the automotive industry. Automotive industry means an industry with high capital, technology intensive and strong industrial relevance. It can not only promote direct and indirect employment and at the same provide tangible contribution to regional GDP production leading remarkable social and economic impacts. With the rapid development of China's automobile industry, it is bound to take the road of autonomy and internationalization, but the global open market and the competition of automobile giants will inevitably bring great challenges to this sector. International leading Chinese automobile enterprises can dominate the global automobile market but to what extend mainly depends on their continuous innovation ability to obtain technical advantages, and then form a strong core competitiveness combined with their resource advantages, brand influence and first mover advantage. In order to survive in the strong market competition and develop sustainably, Chinese automobile enterprises have also improve their innovation ability. Innovation is a complex system engineering. It is a process to form the final product and meet the market demand through systematic market analysis, preliminary research, product planning, development and design, test and trial production. The different ways of combination and configuration of these elements and their structures constitute different modes of innovation. After half a century of development, China's automobile industry has formed a development path with distinctive Chinese characteristics from introduction to independent innovation. Modern enterprise product innovation is a market-oriented system engineering based on the overall concept of products. From the perspective of a single project, product innovation manifested in the breakthrough and improvement of the quality of a technical and economic parameter of the product, including the development of new products and the improvement of old products complemented by minimizing the costs of production exploiting the existing capacities much better. From the overall investigation, product innovation runs through the whole process of product conception, design, trial production and marketing. It is a three-dimensional combined innovation of functional innovation, form innovation and service innovation. In such an external environment, it is particularly important to carefully analyse the problems, advantages and disadvantages of China's automobile industry innovation and choose the correct strategic model, which is the main focal point of this review paper.","PeriodicalId":7021,"journal":{"name":"Acta Periodica Technologica","volume":"56 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81281460","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Although the labor market is growing strongly, it suffers from structural problems. There are more than ten thousand job advertisements on Hungarian job portals, although in March 2022, coinciding with the curfew, a significant part of companies decided to stop their recruitment procedures or reduce the number of vacancies. And 44% of them also reduced the number of their employees. In the waning phase of the fifth wave of the pandemic, we conducted an exploratory study on the most popular job portal about what kind of job ads job seekers can find today. In our study, we present the research results and trends of job ads in Győr-Moson-Sopron County. We highlight the most important general aspects and show how the company can be made more attractive for job seekers.","PeriodicalId":7021,"journal":{"name":"Acta Periodica Technologica","volume":"55 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86259698","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The obtained hydrogels were characterized by FTIR, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and swelling behaviour. The swelling properties of Poly (AAm) and poly (AAm-co-MMA) hydrogels were studied in distilled water at different pH. The effect of temperature on swelling behaviour of these hydrogels has been analysed by variation from 25 to 50?C. Poly(AAm-co-MMA) hydrogels were considered for the removal of Red Erionyl textile dyes from aqueous solutions. Two kinetics models were applied; the first and the second order kinetics as well as the Freundlich and Langmuir isotherms were tested.
