As the primary assumption, the proposed design considers the presence of unknown but bounded external perturbations and parametric variations. This proposal has a cascade structure, where a saturated super twisting control algorithm closes the currents control loop, and a high-gain proportional-integral (PI) algorithm ensures the voltage regulation. Thus, the exposed scheme provides an adequate performance of the STATCOM, considering the saturation of the inputs with the anti-windup feature. Posteriorly, a proper stability analysis presents the conditions for the appropriate operation of the closed-loop system in saturation and non-saturation regimes. The design of this neural network is based on the Karush-Kuhn-Tucker (KKT) optimality conditions and on a function that guarantees fixed-time convergence. With this aim, the use of slack variables allows transforming the initial linear programming problem into an equivalent one which only contains equality constraints. Posteriorly, the activation functions of the neural network are designed as fixed time controllers to meet KKT optimality conditions. The growth and success of a social network are multifactorial phenomena but can be generalised into two factors: the quality of the content, and the User eXperience (UX) that the platform offers. Thus, the design of the GUI of a social network must come from the needs of its users. It is necessary to study the UX over time, before and after the development of the platform. Before, the Anticipated User eXperience (AUX) allows knowing the idealisations and desires of users. After, the UX is the measure of the actual system. We propose a UX over time evaluation method for user tools in social networks to have a way to contrast both results, improve the design of user tools, and finally increase participation. To test our evaluation method, we designed an experiment in which users had to devise on paper different user tools. Then, they had to evaluate similar elements but this time in actual social networks. The AUX and UX of the participants were measured with AttrakDiff. The actual distribution feeder was built under the Universidad del Norte strategic energy area as a laboratory; therefore, the scaling and generator-load modules where carried out given the particular conditions of the university. This project becomes an actual test bench to fully explore strategies to many needs that exists today such as: energy efficiency, increased use of renewable energy, reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, increased safety of the supply and minimization of electrical losses. This research focuses on the interaction between the pupil and the response of VEP. The technology has been developed and adapted in order to introduce the color and retinal illumination in these studies. Also the methodology of the traditional Visual Evoked Potential has been changed in order to analyze the pupil. The goal of this project is isolate the effects of color making the luminance constant with the purpose of study the effect of color in the retinal illumination and VEP.The study was made with an electroencephalogram in a Faraday cage in order to reduce the environmental noise. The stimuli were isoluminicent to obtain only the influence of color in the PEV.The preliminary results shows that the instrumentation implemented will allow to study the effect of color in PEV and retinal illumination in an adequate way because it was recovered without noise. This study presents the instrumentation and methodology to research the relationship between retinal illumination and the influence on color observing the PEV. The digital implementation of two input delay optimal compensators is carried out on an industrial controller. First, the input delay is compensated with a control law, whose structure has the form of a Proportional Integral controller, hut the equation does not include integral term, then the second control is the optimal control for input time delay systems, which uses the prediction of the state. Effect of Solvent on the Structural Properties of Iron and Cobalt Oxides 溶剂对铁钴氧化物结构性质的影响

The effect of solvent (water and ethanol) and calcination temperature on both Co3O4 and Fe2O3 on the structural and chemical properties were analyzed. All the obtained powders were calcinated for eliminating the residuals at 500 °C for 2 h and were studied utilizing Raman spectroscopy, X-Ray diffraction (XRD) and transmission electron microscope (TEM) characterizations. From Raman analysis results evident that cobalt and iron oxide powders synthesized utilizing ethanol as solvent shows higher crystallinity degree, which is related to the increase in the electrostatic interaction. Also, Raman analysis confirms that the amorphous phase of all the synthesized powders transforms to crystalline phase after calcination. XRD analysis of calcinated Co<inf>3</inf>O<inf>4</inf> and Fe<inf>2</inf>O<inf>3</inf> powders reveals the cubic and pure hematite crystalline structures, respectively. TEM analysis confirms the crystallite size and shape of the synthesized Co<inf>3</inf>O<inf>4</inf> and Fe<inf>2</inf>O<inf>3</inf> powders. From all the synthesized powders, the crystallite size obtained with ethanol as solvent is relatively smaller than powders synthesized with water as solvent.
