{"title":"[Clinical Features of Collagenous Gastritis].","authors":"Long-Jiao Cai, Yuan Liu, Ai-Min Leng","doi":"10.3881/j.issn.1000-503X.15572","DOIUrl":"10.3881/j.issn.1000-503X.15572","url":null,"abstract":"<p><p>Objective To analyze the clinical characteristics of collagenous gastritis (CG) and provide evidence for the precise diagnosis and treatment of CG.Methods Published case reports and case series were collected from PubMed,CNKI,and Wanfang Med Online with the key words of collagenous gastritis,collagenous gastroduodenitis,collagenous gastrointestinal diseases,and gastric mucosal nodules.The demographic and clinical information of each case was collected.Results According to the extent of collagen deposition in the digestive tract,94 CG cases included in this study were assigned into upper digestive tract (UDT)-CG,total digestive tract (TDT)-CG and other groups.The UDT-CG group included 52 cases (57.69% females and 42.31% males) with a median age of 14.50 (11.00,25.75) years old.There were 17 cases in the TDT-CG group,including 70.59% females and 29.41% males,with a median age of 15.00 (9.50,48.50) years old.The other group contained 25 cases,(64.00% females and 36.00% males) with a median age of 25.00 (15.50,59.50) years old.The main clinical manifestations in the UDT-CG group were anemia (59.62%) and diarrhea (17.31%),and those in the TDT-CG group were anemia (29.41%) and diarrhea (94.12%).The nodular appearance of gastric mucosa was observed in 75.00% cases in the UDT-CG group and 35.29% cases in the TDT-CG group.In the initial treatment,symptomatic therapy and hormonal therapy respectively relieved the symptoms in 75.00% (30/40) and 100% (3/3) cases in the UDT-CG group and 57.14% (4/7) and 83.33% (5/6) cases in the TDT-CG group.In the retreatment,symptomatic therapy and hormone therapy respectively achieved the remission rates of 100.00% (3/3) and 88.89% (8/9) in the UDT-CG group and 80.00% (4/5) and 66.67% (2/3) in the TDT-CG group.Conclusions CG,a rare disease of gastric collagen deposition,mainly occurs in young patients,and females are more susceptible than males.The clinical manifestations of CG are nonspecific,and anemia,abdominal pain,diarrhea,weight loss,and gastrointestinal bleeding are the common symptoms of CG.Nodular appearance of gastric mucosa is a relatively specific endoscopic feature of CG.There is no standardized treatment for CG.Symptomatic treatment is commonly adopted to improve the quality of life of the patients,and hormones can be added when necessary.</p>","PeriodicalId":6919,"journal":{"name":"中国医学科学院学报","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139085454","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

{"title":"[Effect of Diurnal Temperature Range on the Number of Residents Hospitalized Due to Stroke in Lanzhou].","authors":"Run-Ping Zhang, Wan-Cheng Zhang, Jiang-Long Ling, Ji-Yuan Dong, Li Zhang, Ye Ruan","doi":"10.3881/j.issn.1000-503X.15718","DOIUrl":"10.3881/j.issn.1000-503X.15718","url":null,"abstract":"<p><p>Objective To analyze the relationship between diurnal temperature range (DTR) and the hospitalization of stroke in Lanzhou,so as to provide a scientific basis for probing into the mechanism of temperature changes in inducing stroke and formulating comprehensive prevention and control measures for stroke by relevant departments.Methods The information of the patients hospitalized due to stroke in Lanzhou during January 2014 to December 2019 and the air pollutants (PM₁₀,SO₂,and NO₂) and meteorological data in the same period were collected for statistical analysis.Spearman rank correlation analysis was performed to analyze the correlations between air pollutants and meteorological factors.The distributed lag nonlinear model was adopted to fit the relationship between DTR and the number of stroke inpatients,and three-dimensional diagrams and the correlation diagrams of DTR against stroke risk were established.The stratified analysis was performed according to gender and age (< 65 years and ≥65 years).Results From 2014 to 2019,a total of 92 812 stroke patients were hospitalized in Lanzhou,with a male-to-female ratio of 1.35:1.There was a nonlinear relationship between DTR and the number of stroke inpatients in Lanzhou,which presented a lag effect.The low DTR at 4.5 ℃ had the largest <i>RR</i> value of 1.25 (95%<i>CI</i>=1.16-1.35) for stroke inpatients at a cumulative lag of 18 d.The effect of high DTR (18.5 ℃) on the hospitalization of stroke patients peaked at a cumulative lag of 21 d,with an <i>RR</i> value of 1.09 (95%<i>CI</i>=1.01-1.18).The stratified analysis results suggested that low levels of DTR had greater effects on the hospitalization of male stroke patients and stroke patients <65 years.Conclusions Short-term exposure to different levels of DTR had an impact on the number of stroke inpatients,and low levels of DTR had a slightly greater impact on stroke inpatients than high levels of DTR.Importance should be attached to the protection of males and people aged <65 years at low levels of DTR.</p>","PeriodicalId":6919,"journal":{"name":"中国医学科学院学报","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139085459","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
