The background noise is modeled as the Gaussian noise, whereas, the impulsive noise is characterized by the Laplace distribution, in order to satisfy the heavy tail requirement of the impulsive noise density function. Moreover, we model the occurrence of impulsive noise in PLC system with Bernoulli and Poisson random variables. We analyze the performance of considered narrowband PLC system in terms of capacity. Specifically, expressions for average channel capacity are derived in case of Bernoulli-Laplace and Poisson-Laplace impulsive noises. This paper describes a Named Entity Recognition system for Marathi using Hidden Markov Model (HMM). It addresses the problem of assigning the correct named entity class tag to each word using probabilistic model trained on a manually tagged corpus for the Marathi language. The most probable named entity tag is assigned to each word using the Viterbi algorithm. Proposed system reports an overall F1-score of 62.70% when no preprocessing was applied whereas it reports an overall F1-score of 77.79% when preprocessing was applied on the same data. In place of a randomly estimated model of the plant, a model is determined using recursive least square estimation based on estimated states. The idea of model-based control is to reduce communication frequency, to meet the constraints of available bandwidth. It is noticed that smaller the error between plant and model, higher is the update interval. The model-based approach is applied to a classical problem of an inverted pendulum. One of the great deal of research is been conducted on the use of photovoltaic cell and the fuel cells in the recent days. This paper gives an introduction to the hybrid energy system for the photovoltaic cell and the fuel cell for supplying the energy to the isolated areas. This technique can be future used for the autonomous integration of the renewable resources. The hybrid power system, consist of the photovoltaic cell and Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC). This type of the combination is found to be the most efficient type in the renewable energy sources. The idea of this review is to describe the different control strategies for the sharing of the electricity; generated with the PV panels and the PEMFC; amongst the loads. Now, during the day cycle of the sun, when the sun shines, the load is fed by the PV system. The PEMFC is considered as a secondary source to full-fill the required energy sources. The work of The FC comes into the cycle of the play when the weather situation during the day time is not favorable, or during the night time. The system of supply maintains a constant output voltage sufficient for the load connected, which controls the power system. Mapping is used to provide the greater number of users. Affect of basic matrix (used in mapping) on Bit Error Rate (BER) and code length is analyzed. The properties of proposed code construction algorithm are easy code construction, any positive integer value of weight is used for code construction, design of different code set by varying size of basic matrix. Ex-OR function is used in balanced detection technique at receiver. Main effect of increasing the number of Electric Vehicles on power systems is the creation of a significant domestic demand for electricity. Electric vehicles are in the forefront of emerging zero emission technologies that are essential for a sustainable future. Due to the fast growing demand for electric vehicles, it will be a key point to consider when managing the power utilization in Sri Lanka. As peak demand is heavily catered using diesel power, commercial and environmental success relies on concentrating vehicle-charging activities to non-peak hours. An intelligent interface between electricity supply and electric vehicle will help to optimize the electricity demand and reduce the weight at peak demand time. This research worked towards the design and development of a cost effective, high accuracy intelligent socket outlet for charging of electric vehicles to minimize the effect of electric vehicle charging on national grid, hence reduce the environmental and economic impact. The MIMO antenna is designed on Rogers RT/duroid 5880 substrate and composed by one T-shaped stub and two asymmetrical inverted L-shaped stubs loaded rectangular monopoles placed orthogonally at a distance of 10 mm to achieve triple operating bands, high isolation and optimum diversity between antenna elements. The proposed compact triple-band MIMO antenna is resonating at 2.6/3.52/5.42 GHz frequencies and provides isolation more than −15 dB over operating bands. This single band antenna is simulated on a Rogers RT5880 dielectric substrate have relative permittivity 2.2, loss tangent 0.0009, and height 1.6mm. The antenna is simulated by Electromagnetic simulation, computer software technology Microwave studio. The proposed single band antenna and simulated result on return loss, VSWR, surface current and 3D radiation pattern is presented. Nowadays use of internet has increased tremendously. As a result of it Digital media gathers maximum amount of confidential data. To maintain the secrecy over confidential data, different methods of hiding have been evolved. Steganography is one of the emergent area where maintaining the privacy of secret data is of utmost importance. It is an art of hiding the secret data or confidential information inside the digitally covered information. In this paper we proposed a new technique of video steganography by implementing cover frame pixel randomization, de-randomization and data embedding technique which maintain the quality of the secret data(video file) and prevents it from being accessed by intruders while communication through an open channel. Here we have proposed a new technique using factorization method to scramble pixels of cover frames of cover video file. Then the frames of secret video file is inserted in the scrambled cover frame of cover video file using Spiral (Extended) LSB technique. This method of hiding the secret video in the cover video gives a new security concept of securing the secret data from unauthorized accesses. Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR) is used to measure the quality of stegovideo.
