It could be applied in the extraction of functional components from plant for its irreversible disintegration on plant cell membrane. PEF treatment caused an irreversible disintegration on the cellular membrane of raspberry cell and the extraction yield of anthocyanins from raspberry was linearly correlated to the treatment pulses of PEF. During the extraction, Cyanidin-3-glucoside, the major anthocyanins in raspberry was found to be significantly degraded by PEF. The degradation effects of Cyanidin-3-glucoside decreased with the increase of the electric field or treatment time. A variety of factors lead to catastrophic failure described. Here partial discharge (PD) analysis methods for diagnosing aircraft wiring faults are explored since PD signals are strongly correlated with the defects that produce them and form an ideal part for prognostic and diagnostic test system. A simulation of PD signal based on high-voltage insulation testing standard is detailed. Wavelet based (time-frequency) analysis is shown to be a good approach to de-noise PD signals. The effect of the temperature and the accuracy of soil resistance coefficient estimation with regards to the final results are also investigated. The result shows the coefficient of soil resistance plays the most important role in the current rating for cable in a clustered layout. Establishment of an easy and effective fault diagnosis method has been strongly required to assure motors for operation with high reliability. This paper reports the results of analysis of current waveforms of motors with short-circuit turns in stator windings. It was confirmed that magnitude and phase of current changed depending on the degree of short circuit of the stator winding under both no load and load-connected conditions. The aging degradation is dominated by water trees in these XLPE cables. Therefore, water tree diagnosis with high precision is quite important for operation, maintenance and replaces planning of these XLPE cables. The authors have been investigating the applicability of the Damping oscillating high voltage (DOHV) to the water tree detection as well as insulation diagnosis for these XLPE cables. This paper firstly proposes the nondestructive insulation diagnosis using DOHV application. This permittivity reduction is attributed to the interaction dynamics between nanoparticles and epoxy chains at the interface region and interestingly, this interaction has also been found to influence the glass transition temperatures (Tg) of the examined nanocomposite systems. Computer simulations have been carried out to investigate surge voltage performance of these type of windings for appearance of 1.2/50 microseconds wave shape, full and chopped impulse voltages at line terminal. Transformer windings with alpha (Square root of ratio of total ground capacitance to total series capacitance of the winding) values in range of 6 to 18 have been analyzed. This is mainly because of the basic structure of syntactic foam, which provides closed cell porosity. The porosity, which gives syntactic foam its weight reduction, unfortunately leads to shortcomings in terms of dielectric strength and PD resistance. However: with recent advances in material science and the dawn of nanotechnology, there is a new take on this unique material, which can be used as insulating material for HV-applications, where weight is of vital importance. Four different types of epoxy based syntactic foam nanocomposites are presented, whose respective dielectric behavior were studied with help of dielectric spectroscopy. The measurement results, with emphasis on the complex permittivity, are presented in this work. The wavelet de-nosing algorithm is based on an optimum and adaptive shrinkage scheme. A class of shrinkage functions with continuous derivatives and a genetic algorithm are used for the adaptive shrinkage scheme. The genetic algorithm is helpful to obtain global optimum thresholds and to reduce much time wasted by the adaptive searching computation. The de-noising results of PD UHF signals embedded in white noises are presented.
