Methods: Fifty-eight patients with non-small cell lung cancer who underwent surgery in the Affiliated Hospital of Hebei University from January 2020 to December 2021 were selected as the study subjects. All of them underwent standard lobectomy and lymph node dissection. Among them, 32 patients who underwent spontaneous ventilation single-port thoracoscopy were included in the study group, while 26 patients who underwent conventional thoracoscopy were included in the control group. The perioperative related indices, lung function, immune factor levels, and inflammatory factor levels were compared between the two groups. Results: In the study group, the perioperative incision length, intraoperative blood loss, operation time, and number of lymph node dissections were 4.28 ± 2.01, 77.89 ± 12.02, 87.21 ± 16.11, and 20.69 ± 4.45, respectively. In the control group, the perioperative incision length, intraoperative blood loss, operation time, and number of lymph node dissections were 6.32 ± 2.45, 84.98 ± 16.98, 95.88 ± 14.89, and 21.45 ± 4.36, respectively. There was no statistical difference between the study group and the control group in the number of lymph node dissections and intraoperative blood loss; the lung function in the study group was significantly better than that in the control group; the levels of T cell subsets CD4+, CD8+, CD4+/CD8+, CD16+CD56+ of the study group were 46.36 ± 5.87, 30.98 ± 4.12, 1.19 ± 0.23, and 17.41 ± 6.25, respectively, while those in the control group were 35.78 ± 4.12, 34.14 ± 3.87, 1.04 ± 0.24, and 12.45 ± 5.56, respectively; the levels of immunoglobulin IgG, IgM, and IgA of the study group were 10.45 ± 2.14, 1.21 ± 0.24, and 1.26 ± 0.25, respectively, while those of the control group were 8.78 ± 1.78, 1.06 ± 0.12, and 1.06 ± 0.26, respectively, with statistical differences; the levels of CRP, IL-6, IL-8, and TNF-? of the control group were 21.87 ± 4.26, 98.01 ± 9.58, 111.03 ± 9.96, and 123.05 ± 9.77, respectively, while those of the study group were 19.47 ± 3.89, 89.12 ± 8.96, 104.32 ± 9.12, and 112.98 ± 9.16, respectively, in which the comparison was statistically significant. Conclusion: In the surgical treatment of non-small cell lung cancer, spontaneous ventilation single-port thoracoscopic surgery has several advantages, which include less trauma and bleeding. It reduces the impact of surgical trauma on the immune function of the body, improves the postoperative lung function and inflammatory stress of the body, as well as accelerates the recovery of patients. It is an alternative to open lung lobectomy for the treatment of lung cancer.","PeriodicalId":61025,"journal":{"name":"抗癌研究","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48152182","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In view of the rarity and nonspecific imaging characteristics of PBML, this condition is easily misdiagnosed as malignant lung cancer. This is a case report of a 39-year-old lady in whom multiple bilateral lung nodules were found during a health checkup and was diagnosed with PBML. The patient had recurrent uterine fibroids and underwent myomectomy twice, 7 years and 3 years ago, respectively, before the diagnosis of PBML was made. This patient was asymptomatic, and regular examinations were normal. Her laboratory investigations were all within normal range. Computed tomography (CT) showed multiple nodules in bilateral lungs. In order to confirm the disease, thoracoscopic nodule resection and tissue biopsy were performed. Hematoxylin eosin (HE) staining showed spindle-shaped cells, while immunohistochemical staining revealed positive for desmin, smooth muscle actin (SMA), estrogen receptor (ER), and progesterone receptor (PR), which are all PBML markers. The patient was followed-up without any further treatment. After 8 months of follow-up, CT scan revealed an increased number of nodules. This is unique case because of the recurrence of uterine fibroids, which means that the patient is susceptible to it. Our report may give a new insight to the relationship between the susceptibility of uterine fibroids and the onset and progression of PBML.","PeriodicalId":61025,"journal":{"name":"抗癌研究","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44816448","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Methods: In 2021, a total of 34 patients with breast cancer were treated in Baoding First Central Hospital. During hospitalization, pathological examinations were performed, and all the patients were diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma. Out of the 34 cases, 16 cases were found to have CCR6 expression in breast cancer tissues, in which they were recorded as the CCR6 expression group, whereas 18 cases did not have CCR6 expression; these cases were recorded as the CCR6 non-expression group. During the same period, 21 normal patients were selected as the control group. The peripheral blood CCL20 level and the expression of CCR6 on the surface of CD3+ T lymphocytes were analyzed. The extracts of cancer cells were collected, purified, and cultured, and the effect of ginsenoside Rh1 on the invasion and metastasis of breast cancer cells was analyzed. Results: The peripheral blood CCL20 level in the CCR6 expression group was significantly higher than that in the CCR6 non-expression group and the control group, in which p < 0.05, indicating that the difference was statistically significant; at 12, 24, and 48 hours, the cell survival rate of each dose group was significantly higher than that of the blank control group and the dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) group (p < 0.05). At 48 hours, comparing the low-dose group with the high-dose group, the cell survival rate significantly decreased (p < 0.05). Compared with the blank control group and DMSO group, the invasion ability of breast cancer cells could be reduced in both, high- and medium-dose groups, where p < 0.05, indicating that the difference was statistically significant. Conclusion: CCL20 may play a role in the pathogenesis of certain breast cancers, and ginsenoside Rh1 can effectively regulate the invasion and migration of breast cancer cells.","PeriodicalId":61025,"journal":{"name":"抗癌研究","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"49254684","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
