It is shown that the threshold for the onset of stimulated Raman scattering in suspensions is significantly lower than it is in pure toluene, which can be explained by the effect of local field enhancement near a metal nanoparticle. It is found that the efficiencies of stimulated Raman and Rayleigh–Mie scattering are comparable for pulses with a duration of ~100 ps, with Rayleigh–Mie scattering dominant for longer laser pulses and Raman scattering, for shorter (<100 ps) pulses. These devices employ the Quantum Charge-Coupled Device (QCCD) architecture, wherein multiple trapping zones are linked by an on-chip transport network that shuttles ion chains, enabling full connectivity through physical ion transport in a plane parallel to the chip surface. The ability to move ions perpendicular to this plane can offer additional advantages, including tuning the laser–ion interaction strength, systematic studies of surface-induced heating mechanisms, and precise alignment with a mode of an external optical cavity. We introduce an “escalator,” i.e., a geometrically optimized transition between trapping zones of different confinement heights, which, to the best of our knowledge, has not been previously proposed. For comparison, we also analyze two configurations of the known “elevator” method, in which the radio-frequency (RF) null is repositioned dynamically via additional electrode voltages. Both approaches enable nearly a twofold change in the ion confinement height above the chip surface.
","PeriodicalId":604,"journal":{"name":"JETP Letters","volume":"123 9","pages":"645 - 651"},"PeriodicalIF":1.1,"publicationDate":"2026-04-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://link.springer.com/content/pdf/10.1134/S0021364026600941.pdf","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"148292443","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"物理与天体物理","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"OA","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For double In–CrSb–In junctions, (dV{text{/}}dI(B)) curves are mirrored in respect to zero field for two magnetic field sweep directions, which is characteristic behavior of a Josephson spin valve. Also, we demonstrate Josephson diode effect by direct measurement of the critical current for two opposite directions in external magnetic field. We interpret these observations as a joint effect of the spin-polarized topological surface states and the altermagnetic spin splitting of the bulk bands in CrSb. For a single In–CrSb interface, the superconducting gap oscillates in magnetic field for both field orientations, which strongly resembles the Fulde–Ferrell–Larkin–Ovchinnikov (FFLO) behavior. Such additional interaction correspond to the nearest and diagonal interactions on the square lattice. Anisotropic Ising interaction allows the entangled quantum paramagnetic phases in the phase diagram, which in the absence of the magnetic field previously was predicted for more complex type of interaction. The same composition law expresses the full entropy of the Reissner–Nordström black hole via the entropies of its outer and inner horizons. Here we apply this composition law to the thermodynamics of the Kerr black hole. As distinct from Reissner–Nordström black hole, where the full entropy depends only on mass M and does not depend on its charge Q, the entropy of Kerr black hole is the sum of contributions from its mass M and angular momentum J, i.e., (S(M,J) = S(M,0) + 4pi sqrt {J(J + 1)} ). Here (S(M,0)) is the entropy of the Schwarzschild black hole. This demonstrates that when the Kerr black hole with (J gg 1) absorbs or emits a massless particle with spin ({{s}_{z}} = pm 1{text{/}}2), its entropy changes by ({text{|}}Delta S{text{|}} = 2pi ). We also considered the quantization of entropy suggested by the toy model, in which the black hole thermodynamics is represented by the ensemble of the Planck-scale black holes—Planckons. The Tsallis–Cirto composition law is also extended to the thermodynamics of Kerr–Newman black hole and Schwarzschild–de Sitter black hole.
","PeriodicalId":604,"journal":{"name":"JETP Letters","volume":"123 8","pages":"509 - 513"},"PeriodicalIF":1.3,"publicationDate":"2026-04-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://link.springer.com/content/pdf/10.1134/S0021364026600175.pdf","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"148060987","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"物理与天体物理","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"OA","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
