Firstly, the paper presented a short description of the causes of Nūrsī’s dissatisfaction with the education system of his time. This was followed by an analysis of his efforts to bring about educational reforms in the existing structure. Next, the study analyzed the factors that thwarted Nūrsī’s efforts for the establishment of Madrasah-tu-Zahra. This was followed by a detailed analysis of how Risālah-i Nūr proved to be a ma’navī Madrasah-tu-Zahra in achieving the same objects which Nūrsī wanted to accomplish through the university. A qualitative research approach has been chosen for this study. Findings of the paper showed that despite the lifelong efforts of Nūrsī he could not establish his desired university owing to some unfavorable circumstances including the outbreak of WW1, his exile and imprisonment, and the anti-religious policies of the Turkish Republic. The study also found that though he couldn’t establish a physical university, Nūrsī managed to achieve the same objective through Risālah by establishing small study circles of his devoted students. The study of examples from Risālah showed how successfully Nūrsī achieved all his objectives and exerted himself to revitalize the educational system of that time through Risālah. Prayer was made obligatory for the practical manifestation of this belief in all divine religions so that this belief is strengthened in the core of the heart, and in turn, it develops and strengthens the relation between God and His servant. Prayer is a dialogue and whispering between Allah and mankind; it is a source of acquiring righteousness. Keeping in view the importance of prayer, books, and research articles have been written on the concept, obligation, importance, and purpose of prayer in Islam and Judaism. However, a valuable comparative study is still missing on the conditions, elements, posture, and supplication of prayer. This article traces the similarities and differences in prayer between Islam and Judaism. In this connection, an analytical and comparative study has been used in the light of the Quran, Ḥadīth, and the Old Testament on the meaning of prayer, its obligation, conditions, elements, posture, supplications, and qualities of Imām in Islam and Judaism. For that purpose, they have directed to devote all their efforts to prove it a human-authored book. Consequently, they want to prove the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as a fabricated Prophet. In this regard, Theodore Noldeke is a German Orientalist who has some objections to the text of the Holy Quran. In this paper, efforts are made to respond to these objections of Noldeke. Furthermore, the study analyzed the Orientalist movement in the German context. It is perceived as an eye open truth the Holy Quran is free from any human error and textual amendment but at that point, Theodore Noldeke tries to get benefit from diverse and somehow weak Tafsīr literature and Muslim scholarly difference of opinion in this regard. Moreover, German Orientalism is an important chapter of the Global Orientalists Movement but the world could able to know it later. Therefore, this study recommends that Muslim scholars must respond to the objections and reservations of German Orientalists in the proper and best way. His brothers conspired and dropped him in a deep well jealously. A caravan pulled him out of that and sold him on the hand of Aziz (Governor of Egypt). As Yousaf (AS) grew to full manhood, he became adorably handsome that the wife of his master fell in love with him. She attempted to approach him with sinful intentions. Upon his avoidance had been thrown into prison on false charges of assault and remained imprisoned for several years. The Muslims ruled Andalus for about 8 centuries (711--1492 AD). There were several poets incarcerated due to various reasons. They were inspired by the environment of prison cells and produced glorious poetry behind the bars of the penitentiary. The prisoner poets of Andalus alluded their poetry and eulogies with prophets to make the poetry strengthened and gain their goals. They selected the prophet Yousaf (AS) for their prison poetry and referred him from different angles. The prisoner poets of Andalus who discussed the prophet Yousaf (AS) in their prison poetry are; Yahya bin Huzail (999 AD), Marwan bin Abdu Rehman al- Thaleeq (1010), Muhammad bin Masuod al- Bajjani, Yousuf bin Haroon al- Ramadi (1012), Abdul Malik bin Ghusan al-Hijari (1062), Ibn-e-Zydun (1071), Abu-al-Hasan Albughdadi al- Fokaik and Muthasim bin Samadih (1091 AD). Sabiha, Zahid Yasin","doi":"10.36476/jirs.5:2.12.2020.17","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.36476/jirs.5:2.12.2020.17","url":null,"abstract":"Interfaith dialogue has been initiated in the nineteenth century as an ecumenical discourse that was transformed and adapted by almost all religions as a means of building interfaith harmony. However, in the case of Islam Muslim scholars had to respond in a variant geopolitical panorama of the post-colonial world, struggling to place themselves between strong notions of Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité and safeguarding the traditional fabric of Islam. The present paper expounds on the approaches of two Muslim scholars in the twentieth century are Bediuzzaman Said Nursi (1876-1960), an eminent Turkish spiritual leader, and Seyyed Hossein Nasr (1933-), an Iranian origin, contemporary Muslim philosopher in the United States. Both of them are well-known for their contribution to interfaith dialogue with their unique methodologies. The main research question is; to study the contribution of Nursi and Nasr in the field of interfaith dialogue which is presumably led by Protestants as well as Catholics. The methodology includes comparative and historical analysis which has been applied to explore the academic as well as the social contribution of both the scholars focusing on their enterprise of interfaith dialogue in a pluralistic society. No one thinks that security in its modern forms has been absent from the awareness of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and his great companions, and the researcher extracted the need to collect information about the opponents of State and preparation for them. There several studies on the subject but did not address the aspects mentioned in this research, and deals with all the ancient and modern works on the issue of the composition of the spies which are the core of my research and indicate the positions of the biography of the Prophet (PBUH). There is a research journal namely “Dialmi” in Arabic published approximately 55 research Articles entitled Spies and impact in Wars in the life of the Prophet (PBUH). However, it discussed the military side only and did not vary in the classification of information. However, in the historical records, the 77-year-long struggle period of Muslims for conquest and Islamization was neglected until the arrival of Muḥammad bin Qasim. In this article, an analytical study is made about the history of the first period of the arrival and spread of Islam in Sindh from the beginning of the Islamic conquests up to the arrival of the conqueror of Sindh. The study also highlights the geographical identification of the Sindh region and the arrival of the companions of the Prophet (PBUH) and their expedition activities in Sindh. Besides that, the political situation of the Muslims in the Sindh region is discussed as well. The study concludes that before the arrival of Muḥammad bin Qasim, the first phase of Sindh's conquests and Islamization was completed by the extraordinary efforts of the companions of Prophet (PBUH) and Muslim commanders who were sent to the Sindh region. The researcher used the descriptive and analytical method of research and applied document analysis to highlight the educational approach of the Holy Prophet. The research showed that the prophetic educational approach infused firm faith in the bilateral relations between him and Muslims on the one hand, and among the Muslim community on the other hand. The research addressed several variables related to the significant qualities in the prophetic education that resulted in creating the integrated character in the companions. The research findings show that the prophetic educational curriculum brought about a comprehensive and profound revolution in the companion’s era based on various methods of education that led to the psychological and educational success of the era.
