The Flipped Classroom method is one of the new methods in Indonesia which can be one of the preferred methods that can be applied in teaching English. Surely, a trial is required to measure its effectiveness. The current study has two purposes, the first one was to determine whether the Flipped Classroom learning method was able to effectively improve student learning outcomes, especially in English lectures. Then, secondly, the purpose was how to apply Flipped Classroom in the classroom. This research is quantitative descriptive research with a quasi-experimental approach, employing a \"Pretest – Posttest Non-Equivalent Control Group Design\". The current study involved 2 groups, namely the experimental group, taught using Flipped Classroom learning and the control group taught using conventional learning (without flipped Classroom design). It was found that the value of sig. Levene's test is 0.696 > 0.05, indicating that the data variance between the control class and the experimental class is homogeneous. Furthermore, the value of sig. (2-tailed) for the t-test, the value produces a value of 0.000 <0.05, then the decision-making in the t-test is to reject the Ho hypothesis and accept the Ha hypothesis. Thus, it can be interpreted that there is a significant difference between the average N-Gain scores of the control and experimental classes in English Engineering. It can be concluded that Flipped Classroom is effective in improving students' English skills in the topic of Describing Processes, as evidenced by the N-Gain value of 90, 91% which is included in the effective category. However, Polman Bandung currently lacks a valid and reliable measurement tool, so it is necessary to create one so that the results can be more credibly reported. This study aims to obtain an instrument model for measuring customer satisfaction with the services provided by Polman Bandung. This study was a qualitative analysis study using the grounded research methodology to obtain new perspectives for developing customer satisfaction measuring tools. Activities that have been carried out include formulating the dimensions of customer satisfaction to be measured by combining 14 elements of the community service satisfaction index from KEMENPAN no.25/2004, 9 elements of service satisfaction dimensions from PERMENPAN no.14/2017, and the CARTER dimension which consists of 6 dimensions so that new dimensions are obtained in measuring service satisfaction with Polman Bandung institutions. The dimensions formulated into CHARACTER consist of 9 dimensions, namely Compliance, Handling complaints, Assurance, Reliability, Ability to serve, Clarity, Tangibility, Empathy, and Responsiveness. These nine dimensions are then derived into question items in the form of a questionnaire used to measure the level of service satisfaction provided by the institution to its customers. Responses from 757 respondents from internal and external customers were used in the quantitative analysis to test the validity and reliability of the measurement instrument. The theory used to make sense of the phenomenon is called policy effectiveness, and it consists of the following components: 1) availability; 2) breadth; 3) depth; 4) bias; 5) responsibility; and 6) appropriateness. In addition, both qualitative and descriptive types of research were used. Ten lontong artisans, three PGN members, and two subdistrict officials are among the informants. Since 2016, residents of the lontong neighbourhood have been using natural gas lines in their factories, according to the results. Socialization of the retail space spreads the word to locals about the program. Information about the program is readily available to each subdistrict thanks to a sales area representative and a call centre open around the clock. Monthly program usage can range from 200m3 to 1,500m3, and the program is available to both single-family homes and small and medium-sized businesses. Mind Your Language is a British comedy television series that portrays a learning process by immigrants coming from various countries. Varieties of cultures and levels of English knowledge naturally influence humour creation by the characters. The data were taken from humourous utterances in season one of that situation comedy. Applying a descriptive qualitative approach, this research is in an attempt to find out the forms and the motives of those humourous utterances created to entertain audiences, especially those dealing with phonological aspects. The findings demonstrate that six forms of phonological aspects are employed to create humour. Sounds addition, omission, substitution, and minimal pairs are frequently exploited in humour creation rather than other strategies such as sound compatibility and metathesis. Based on the motives of humour construction, besides the interlocuter’s influence, the phonological interference phenomenon also grounds the humour production in Mind Your Language situation comedy. This study aims to determine the effect of remittances made by Indonesian workers who work abroad on the education of their family members in the area of origin. This study aimed to determine whether Indonesian workers who work abroad are aware of the importance of using remittances as the fee for their family education. As education is a basic need and benefits the improvement of the education of the nation's children. This research used qualitative research methods with data taken from Jungkat Village, Mempawah Regency. This study showed that most Indonesian workers in the village work to earn a living and provide appropriate education to their family members. In addition, remittances allow families in their hometowns to easily receive the salary given by Indonesian workers abroad.
