It is a health problem and the main cause of death due to diabetes, hypertension, stroke, etc. The reason is the low level of community fitness due to lack of movement, low activity and wrong eating patterns. This study aims to measure the effect of fitness, BMI and age on the risk of diabetes mellitus in civil servants. The study used a cross-sectional design and was carried out at the Aceh Provincial Health Office in 2021. The sample was a civil servant from the Aceh Provincial Health Office. Ninety-seven people were taken randomly. The characteristic data collection was conducted by interview. It used BMI and anthropometric data obtained from weighing and measuring the height to determine nutritional status. Blood glucose was collected by laboratory examination of Hba1C using A1CNOW Plus 3021 to detect diabetes mellitus. Fitness data was obtained from jogging (1,6 km) using the Rockport method to obtain the VO2 Max value. Data analysis used the Linear Regression test at a significance level of 95%. The results showed that fitness (p=0,039) and BMI (p=0,011) affected the risk of diabetes (p<0,05), while the age factor was not associated with diabetes (p=0,365) in civil servants. The dominant factor that influences the risk of diabetes is BMI (OR= 4,1). In conclusion, fitness and BMI greatly influence the risk of diabetes in civil servants at the Aceh Provincial Health Office, while the age factor has no significant effect.","PeriodicalId":56201,"journal":{"name":"AcTion Aceh Nutrition Journal","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45311238","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The increase in eating behavior results from changes in mental health during the Covid-19 pandemic, especially in students. This study aims to analyze the relationship between stress, depression, and anxiety with emotional eating and mindful eating in college students during the Covid19 pandemic. Many students experience emotional eating and are very emotional eaters. This research was conducted in September-October 2020 on 303 student subjects using the accidental sampling technique. Research data were obtained through questionnaires distributed online. The questionnaire consisted of characteristic data, changes in body weight and eating behavior, a modified DASS-21 questionnaire to measure stress, depression, and anxiety, EEQ (Emotional eating Questionnaire), and MEQ (Mindful eating Questionnaire). The data were processed univariately in frequency and percentage and bivariate analysis with an Ordinal Spearman Correlation with an error rate of 5%. In college students, stress, depression, and anxiety are relatively high, especially at the severe stage. Stress and depression were significantly related to mindful eating (p<0,05) but not to anxiety (p>0,05). The more stressed and depressed students tend to experience non-mindful eating.","PeriodicalId":56201,"journal":{"name":"AcTion Aceh Nutrition Journal","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43851694","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
