In France, HPV vaccination is recommended for children aged 11 to 14, with a catch-up campaign recently extended up to age 26. In Réunion, vaccination coverage remains insufficient despite national recommendations. Vaccinating adult students, who are autonomous in their decisions and no longer require parental consent, could serve as a lever to increase vaccination rates. The primary objective of this study was to assess the acceptability of HPV vaccination among students at the University of Réunion.</p><p><strong>Methods: </strong>A cross-sectional descriptive observational study was conducted from January 13 to January 29, 2026, using an anonymous self-administered online questionnaire. Students from different university campuses were included.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>Among 725 recorded connections, 714 students were included and 474 fully completed the questionnaire. The mean age was 21.0±4.3 years. The overall vaccine acceptability rate was 61.3%. Knowledge appeared limited, with a mean transmission score of 1.9±1.1 out of 4 on questions concerning transmission of the virus. One important approach involves reducing hospital plastic waste. In the operating room, this objective can be achieved through the use of caesarean section kits containing all the necessary disposable supplies. In addition, time and cost savings are also expected.</p><p><strong>Methods: </strong>This single-center, medico-economic and environmental study, combining qualitative and quantitative approaches, with a prospective and interventional design, was conducted from April 2023 to January 2026 at University Hospital of South Réunion. The study included a pack development phase followed by data collection during caesarean sections performed. Outcomes included plastic waste weight and setup time. An economic analysis was also performed (accounting for operating room occupancy time reduction and kit cost) and a satisfaction questionnaire has been submitted to the teams.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>Setup time was significantly reduced with the kits (median reduction of 165.5seconds) and the theoretical economic gain was estimated at €8011.08 for the year 2024. Regarding the reduction of PCP waste, results were not statistically significant due to the small sample size; however, a downward trend was observed. Currently, three main techniques are used in gynecological surgery: Veress needle, open laparoscopy and direct trocar insertion. Despite the low risks described in the literature, direct trocar insertion remains the least-used technique. The primary endpoint of our study is to demonstrate the safety of direct trocar insertion by studying complications related to the initial trocar insertion among the main three laparoscopic entry techniques. Secondary endpoints are analysis of the choice of the technique according to the patient, the type of surgery and the evolution of practices over time.</div></div><div><h3>Methods</h3><div>It is a retrospective observational single center study, which included patients undergoing laparoscopy for gynecologic surgery from 2010 to 2022 with one of these entry techniques: Direct trocar insertion, Veress needle or open laparoscopy.</div></div><div><h3>Results</h3><div>Among the patients, 5504 undergoing laparoscopics interventions were included: 2644 with the Veress needle (48%), 2501 Direct trocar insertion (46%) and 359 Open techniques (6%). No vascular wound was noted for either Direct trocar insertion or Open technique, compared with 3 for Veress needle. No visceral injury was found for any of the three methods. There was no more abdominal complications in high-risk patients for any of the three techniques.</div></div><div><h3>Conclusions</h3><div>Direct trocar insertion is not associated with an increase in abdominal complications compared to other techniques. Antenatal corticosteroids (ACS) significantly reduce the complications associated with prematurity, particularly when administered between 24h and 7 days before delivery. The objective of this study was to assess the proportion of women receiving ACS within the optimal window according to clinical indication, and to identify factors that may influence timing for each indication.</div></div><div><h3>Material and methods</h3><div>We conducted a retrospective, single center observational study at Armand Trousseau Hospital (APHP, Paris) throughout 2022. Singleton pregnancies at risk of preterm birth and treated with ACS were included. The primary outcome was delivery within the optimal ACS-to-birth interval (24h–7 days), adjusted for indication. The secondary outcome was the proportion of patients who delivered at term.</div></div><div><h3>Results</h3><div>Among the 185 women included, only 19% delivered within the optimal window. The mean ACS-to-delivery interval was 31.2 days. Optimal timing varied by indication: preeclampsia (40%), preterm premature rupture of membranes (31%), threatened preterm labor (6%), isolated fetal growth restriction (13%), and vaginal bleeding without cervical change (0%). No clinical factor was significantly associated with optimal timing, except for severe hypertension in the context of preeclampsia. Notably, 29% of patients delivered at term.</div></div><div><h3>Conclusion</h3><div>Most women received ACS outside the optimal therapeutic window. Secondary objectives included assessing the experiences of partners and gynecologists.</div></div><div><h3>Methods</h3><div>We conducted a national, prospective, multicenter survey involving patients who had experienced an EM, their partners, and gynecologists. The analysis was observational and descriptive.</div></div><div><h3>Results</h3><div>We collected 237 responses from patients, 51 from partners, and 175 from gynecologists. Among patients, psychological counseling and sick leave were offered in 19% and 38% of cases, respectively, with satisfaction rates of 65% and 49% for medical and psychological care. Among partners, 80% were present at the consultation during which the diagnosis was disclosed, and psychological counseling was offered in 20% of cases. Among gynecologists, 77% worked in hospitals, 49% were junior doctors, and 12% had received training on how to deliver bad news. Psychological counseling was offered in 39% of cases and sick leave in 60%.</div></div><div><h3>Conclusions</h3><div>This study highlights the importance of appropriate psychological support and follow-up for patients.
