This paper explores key examples of amusement parks that serve as links in the chain of influence and innovation, resulting in the Disney theme parks during the second half of the previous century as a global phenomenon. The focus of the paper is on the presentation and analysis of the amusement park projects in Belgrade designed by architects Aleksandar Đokić and Slobodan Ilić. Those park projects were developed and built during the 1970s and were persistently referred to as \"Belgrade's Disneyland\" throughout the planning and construction stages. The aim of the paper is to contextualize the Belgrade project within the broader framework of the cultural and historical development of similar projects worldwide. The results of the paper indicate that Disney's theme parks played an active role in promoting consumer culture throughout the last century. In Belgrade, however, the construction following a similar model faced social resistance and a series of difficulties during its implementation, which could be interpreted as an example of spontaneous (and short-term) defense of national cultural identity.","PeriodicalId":55773,"journal":{"name":"Zbornik Radova Filozofskog Fakulteta u Pristini","volume":"70 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135102126","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They form a repository for linguistic analysis, the foundation of which is the relationship between language, culture and society. The analysis of proverbs can be used as a way to deconstruct traditional views. This research paper attempts to explore intercultural and contrastive paremiology by contrasting proverbs from two different cultures, and by identifying and analysing common cultural models within proverbs in different languages. By contrasting proverbs in English and Serbian, the aim is to examine how women are described in proverbs and what proverbs reveal about the two different cultures, their cultural models and how they relate to the female gender. The corpus consists of English and Serbian proverbs containing the words describing women, namely woman, women, wife or wives in English (Hazlitt, 2007), and žena and all its inflectional forms in Serbian (Marković, 2005). By studying these proverbs, we are able to observe traditional ways of societal expectations of women, how they were seen and evaluated, praised and valued. Also, the research may act as a means of charting and rectifying men's views of women and their place in society.","PeriodicalId":55773,"journal":{"name":"Zbornik Radova Filozofskog Fakulteta u Pristini","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135101454","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Aarseth), new media and visual arts (Mitchell W. J. T., A. Are the strategies of ergodicity, graphism, and multimediality (present in the forms of nonlinearity, playability, interactivity, synthetic visual and narrative forms, cinematographic dynamics etc.) expressions of authentic artistic inspiration that seeks for new means of expression and finds them in the sphere of visual and digital, or products of the author's desire to get closer to the reader and expand the circle of his addressees? Are we within the space of a literature experiment or are we talking about new, hybrid genres that are still a step above literature understood in the traditional sense? Are all the graphic and multimedia \"extensions\" of the narrative causing benefit or detriment of literature and overall aesthetic value? Osnovna paradigma moderne, u okvirima likovnih umetnosti, manifestovala se težnjom za negiranjem i odbacivanjem tradicije akademizma, faktografskog i mimetičkog. Kao stalno prisutna intencija moderne, javlja se potreba za iniciranjem i realizovanjem avangardnih sadržaja, što je podrazumevalo odbacivanje istorijske tematike u umetnosti. Međutim, specifikum kulturno-istorijskih prilika u kojima se konstituisala srpska moderna umetnost uslovio je potrebu za estetskom komunikacijom sa tradicionalnim. Okolnosti u XX veku, u kojima je srpski narod i dalje tragao za definicijom i potvrđivanjem nacionalnog i kulturnog identiteta, suprotno od inicijalnih programa moderne, inicirale su pojavu nacionalno angažovanog slikarstva. Kao jedan od najznačajnijih istorijskih sadržaja u okvirima srpske moderne konstituiše se tema Kosovskog boja. U ovom radu kroz teorijsko-kritičku analizu biće ukazano na kvantitativno-kvalitativne vrednosti slika sa temom Kosovskog boja. Takođe, analizira se veći broj dela koja se do sada nisu pojavljivala u teoriji i stručnoj literaturi. Korespondencija na relaciji modernizam - tradicionalizam - nacionalna tematika uslovili su pluralizam modernističkih i postmodernističkih tendencija u predstavljanju motiva na temu Kosovskog boja. U domenu estetsko-stilskog određenja, slikarstvo sa motivom Kosovske bitke polarizovano je na faktografsko-naturalističko-mimetičke tendencije, s jedne, i simbolističko-ekspresionističko-apstraktne, s druge strane.","PeriodicalId":55773,"journal":{"name":"Zbornik Radova Filozofskog Fakulteta u Pristini","volume":"19 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81988238","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The soldiers were punished twice: by taking their lives and by being stigmatized in the memory. A detailed analysis, relying on the theoretical propositions of Michel Foucault and René Girard, leads to the conclusion that the truth is exactly the opposite of what seems evident from the legal side. This painted programme has been preserved to a certain extent to this day, although the traces of the ravages of time are clearly visible; it is still possible to read and reconstruct the entire thematic programme, as well as to recognise the iconographic and stylistic features of this part of the church. The exonarthex was painted out several times, as it was repeatedly damaged during the turbulent and destructive centuries (14th, 15th, 16th). It was probably fresco painted after its construction (probably around 1330), but there are no physical remains or written sources testifying to this, while today two layers of fresco paintings are clearly visible in the Gračanica exonarthex. The iconography and themes of the younger layer of fresco paintings from 1570 form a more complex and intricate unity in relation to the one that was there originally. The new frescoes have a clear theological background, devotion to the Virgin Mary, who was also the patron of the Gračanica church. The depiction of the cycle of the Virgin celebrates the role of the Virgin in the Incarnation, foretold in prophetic visions. Almost the entire painted programme around the east portal of the Gračanica exonarthex is dedicated to the Mother of God; additionally, some related depictions are shown there, like the Mother of God on the throne with Christ Emmanuel on her lap surrounded by archangels in the lunette above the entrance. The entire composition was introduced with the theme \"From above the prophets have prophesied thee\", as shown by the painted busts of six prophets (Isaiah, Solomon, David, Moses, Aaron and Jeremiah) entwined by a decorative vine on the inside of the arch, at the top of which is a waist-high image of Christ giving blessings with both hands. The main aim of this paper is to point out the importance of the restoration and painting of Serbian monasteries during the Ottoman rule since these topics are insufficiently represented in Serbian art history. The paper provides an iconographic analysis of the scenes dedicated to the celebration of the Virgin in the Gračanica exonartex, as well as their theological background.","PeriodicalId":55773,"journal":{"name":"Zbornik Radova Filozofskog Fakulteta u Pristini","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135104245","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Gajić","doi":"10.5937/zrffp52-34165","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.5937/zrffp52-34165","url":null,"abstract":"The paper analyses the phenomena of multiculturalism and interculturalism as social movements, as ubiquitous values, and significant and relatively progressive practices of contemporary society, and especially as an integral part of the curricula and outcomes of education policy. Multiculturalism is most often defined as a political ideology, or as a social practice that insists on the fact that every society is composed of diverse cultural groups, which is why it is necessary for all of them to have an equal position in society. However, multiculturalism is not only a given state of cultural pluralism, but it also implies an active action in the direction of (multi)cultural integration and peaceful cultural coexistence. As such, above all, multiculturalism advocates respect for cultural differences between individuals and groups, while accepting all differences in sociopolitical practice. In that sense, the social context for the emergence and development of multiculturalism, i.e., its socio-historical genesis and key characteristics have been analysed and presented in the paper. On the other hand, interculturalism implies a useful social exchange between different cultures, and the paper emphasised the importance of a particular \"reverse\" from multiculturalism towards interculturalism, which is a much more fruitful approach related to the cultural diversity of society and the accompanying curricula and educational policies. In other words, while multiculturalism has postulated respect for cultural pluralism, interculturalism rests on mutual social cohesion between different cultures (Cantle, 2012). In this sense, multiculturalism is only the first step towards true interculturalism. For the purposes of this paper, interculturalism is also a much more useful concept, since it implies intercultural dialogue as well as active (intercultural) learning. A concept of intercultural learning, as a significant and courageous educational practice that relies on the stated values of multiculturalism and interculturalism in a given society has been presented and critically analysed. Intercultural learning in education, as well as the lived experience, is conceptualised as an important and relatively transformative process that can lead to changes in behaviour, but also change the ways in which the stakeholders observe, interpret, and understand the world around them. As a result, educational policies shift their tendencies and goals towards creation of multicultural and intercultural curriculum. However, although such ideas are attractive and occupy the attention of all those involved in education, there is still no clear definition of what an intercultural curriculum is. In that sense, the concept of multicultural and intercultural education depends to a large extent on the teaching content, models, strategies, as well as the design of the intercultural curriculum (Hrvatić, 2011), which is aimed at cultural integration, implementation in educational pract","PeriodicalId":55773,"journal":{"name":"Zbornik Radova Filozofskog Fakulteta u Pristini","volume":"33 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"76150722","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It strives to examine reliability and validity of the OCTES scale on a sample of students (N1=100) and teachers (N2=100). The instrument used to evaluate the effectiveness of three aspects of teaching in two teaching scenarios-classroom teaching and online teaching-includes 3 scales related to cognitive, conative, and affective aspects of teaching. The results indicated that all scales have high reliability (over .80 Cronbach's alpha) on both the teacher subsample and the student subsample. The construct validity was verified by exploratory factor analysis. The results have confirmed that one-factor solutions are acceptable for all measured scales, with the explained variation ranging from 41.13% during the assessment of the affective component of classroom teaching, to 64% during the assessment of conative aspects of classroom teaching. It can be inferred that the final version of the 30-item scale showed good psychometric properties reflected in high reliability of all assessed aspects of teaching efficiency and solid validity seen through one-factor structure of all scales.","PeriodicalId":55773,"journal":{"name":"Zbornik Radova Filozofskog Fakulteta u Pristini","volume":"5 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81828550","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
