This research is a quasi experimental research, targeting children of group B in PAUD Tunas Bangsa, Bima Town. Research subjects were 40 children, consisted of 20 children as experimental group and 20 children as control group determined by purposive sampling technique. The experimental group was given treatment of role play method, while the control group was given conventional method. The instrument of data collection is an observation sheet. This research data obtained from the observation at the time before and after learning. The data obtained were then analyzed and tested by t-test statistic to see the difference between the experimental group and the control group. The result of the research there is significant and effectiveness from the role play method on children's speaking skill in group B PAUD Tunas Bangsa, Kota Bima. The significance value of 0.047 with an average difference of 8.3. This research was carried out in Kindergaten Karangploso District, Malang Regency. The time of the study was from March to April 2018. The data collection used Harry King's Nomograph method in determining the sample of the population. The total population of 645 with the standard error 5% with a multiplier factor of 1.195. The sample number was 200.1 rounded to 200 samples of the Harry King Nomograph method. Data analysis used the IBM SPSS 20 program. Based on the results of the study it was found there was a significant and positive influence on the parental socioeconomic status on the social skills of children aged 5-6 years in Malang Regency. The better and the higher of the parental socio-economic status, the higher the child's social skills. The implications of research results indicate that the parental socio-economic status can support children's development, so this can be used as a guide for parents to be able to give attention to their children both to the parents of low, middle and high. Scholars had argued for and against the fact that there is a strong relationship between family characteristics and children educational success or otherwise. This present study investigate family characteristics as correlates of academic performance among school children in fishing settlements of Ogun state, Nigeria. A descriptive research design was adopted. The target population comprisedall JSS2 students in Ogun water side local government area of Ogun state. Three null hypotheses were tested at 0.05 level of significance. The samples comprised of 400 respondents and 8 junior secondary schools. Multistage sampling techniques were adopted. A self-designed questionnaire was used to collect relevant data. Data generate were analyzed using frequency count, simple percentage, mean, standard deviation and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA).Recommendations were made that there should be increase cooperation between the parents/ guardians and the school. In learning the students do a little questioning about social phenomena, they just sit, shut up, listen and many are out of the classroom. Students' learning outcomes about social phenomena are also less satisfactory. Seen from some grades of student assignment, still at 52% or below KKM (70%). Observing the constraints, the researchers identified that the ability to analyze the social phenomenon of students on IPS learning is low, because the use of learning models that are less in accordance with the study materials of social phenomena, so that students are tired in learning and find difficulties in understanding the content and less able to analyze the causes, further impacts, and solutions of social phenomena presented by lecturers. The purpose of this study is to examine strategies according to Ibn Khaldun's thinking in implementing Islamic school climate in order to be used as a guide and adapted in school. This qualitative study uses content analysis. This study finds that the Islamic school climate-implementation strategy proposed by Ibn Khaldun is very useful for adoption and practice by today's educators. This paper takes Ibn Khaldun's views from various scopes including environmental theory, strategy and thought. The objective of this research is to know the ability of science literacy ability of one of SMA Negeri in Sragen city. The research used survey research type with quantitative descriptive approach. The population in the study consisted of 5 classes of X IPA and 5 classes of XI IPA of 300 students. The sampling technique uses proportionate stratified random sampling. The sample was taken 10% of the population of 30 students consisting of 15 children class X IPA and 15 children class XI IPA. The literacy ability of learner’s science is measured using multiple choice tests developed by Rizkita et al. (2016). Research data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis. From 100 students, 25 collage students and 25 teachers that become respondent, the average of them had the same problem about the meaning of the word or foreign vocabulary. This research aimed to describe the effectiveness of using sports dictionary based android system in teaching foreign vocabulary in sport areas. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R & D). The developed media is a sports dictionary with an Android system. The results showed that out of 150 respondents, 93% or 140 people agreed with the application. The application is very helpful for them in finding the meaning of a foreign term in the field of sports. From 150 respondents, 86 said the application was good in the system and appearance, 53 people said the application made searching easier but the display was still lacking, and 11 people said the application was normal and not helpful. The test results of using the application show 85% of respondents are easier to understand and remember the existing vocabulary. This research uses R&D based on Borg & Gall with the steps: (1)research and information collecting; (2) planning; (3)develop preliminary form product; (4) preliminary field testing; (5) main product revision; (6) main field testing; (7) operationalproduct revision; (8) operational field testing; (9) final product revision; and (10) dissemination. Results show that teaching books of science concept based on quantum learning feasible from the material aspect of 89,16%, presentation aspect by 93,05%, and linguistic aspect of 91,67%. Textbooks of Quantum Learning-based Science Concepts are effective to improve activity and student learning outcomes. Learning activity of 88,57 % and classical completeness of 91,42%.
