{"title":"El problema de la educación sexual: un panorama general y su implicancia en el Sistema Escolar Chileno","authors":"Cristopher Urbina Yáñez","doi":"10.21703/rexe.v22i49.2022","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.21703/rexe.v22i49.2022","url":null,"abstract":"_ ABSTRACT _______________________________________________________________________________ The purpose of this article is to provide a general overview of the dilemmas in which the problem of sexuality education is inscribed as an object of diagnosis and intervention, and how this allows us to glimpse the barriers to its development and implementation in Chilean schools. We proceed by means of a bibliographical review that shows three levels. First, sexuality education is a dispute between approaches and perspectives that conceive and implement it from different parameters. Then, sexuality education has supranational frameworks and indicators that account for its inclusion in global policies to overcome poverty and inequalities. Finally, sexuality education is the configuration of national policies and organizational dilemmas in its practical implementation, detailing the different modalities it adopts at the local level and the challenges it represents for professional teams.
