Meanwhile, statutory interpretation serves as an illustration of legislative framework formulated for public welfare and safety, in harmony with constitutional laws. Electricity regulations are statutory laws for reflexive judgement of the laws of thermodynamics pertaining to mass conservation, momentum theorem, and energy equation concerning economics of the business environment. \u0000Findings: Green hydrogen is a technical product of concession for renewable energies. The paradigm shift to solar power is a form of energy transition to target carbon emission towards zero level through reduction of greenhouse gases. Sustainable development is a monetary framework of business innovations and marketing of goods and services. However, there are apparent limitations on these contract laws, hence, issues can be raised concerning environmental laws of business transactions pertaining to technological services. \u0000Recommendation: If green economy is the 2050 plan of energy transition, the pressure relative to viscosity of hydrogen power of solar energy must be developed congruent to Ideal Gas Law, exhibiting relativity to Euler and Lorenz number in connection with thermal conductivity and its resistance akin to viscosity. \u0000

Most of the current x-ray detectors use cadmium zinc telluride (CZT) as the active medium. This report investigates high density semiconducting and scintillating glasses as potential alternatives to CZT. For the semiconducting glasses, samples composed of xCuO–((1−x)/2)PbO–((1−x)/2)V2O5 and xFeO–((1−x)/2)PbO–((1−x)/2)V2O5, for the scintillating glasses, samples composed of xGd2O3+yWO3+(1−x−y)2H3BO3, doped with 1–6% Eu3+ or Tb3+, were investigated in this study. The glass-making conditions, density, Raman spectroscopy analysis, photoluminescence excitation and emission spectra, as well as conductivity measurements performed on various samples, are reported. The interaction of x-rays with all the glass samples was simulated using GATE software, and their mass attenuation coefficients were calculated and compared with CZT.

It will help rural citizens to buy airtime using a coin where a customer has to enter the mobile number using a keypad then inset coin in airtime vending machine, and automatically the machine dispenses the airtime equivalent to the amount inserted. \u0000Methodology: The methodology used consists of an IoT system where the customer will access the vending machine by inserting it into a coin to buy airtime. This research consists of three main parts, the first part is the interconnection of IoT hardware components that build the entire circuit and are linked to the cloud via GPRS/GSM communication technology, this part involves sensing components, data processing components, and actuators components. The second part consists of coding using Arduino IDE that makes IoT system hardware operational and the last part is data processing and analytics using python programming and regression as a machine learning technique. The system monitoring is done through wireless radio, the cloud data storage is secured and can be easily accessible by authorized users via a web interface. The battery is used for powering the system and the solar panel for recharging the battery. All transaction data are recorded and given date returns the day type between working days, weekends, and the session of the day. \u0000Findings: The results of the research include an IoT system that is developed and implemented to help both airtime agents and customers to sell and buy airtime using coin-based self-service airtime vending machine and the model that analyse machine transaction data using Python programming and regression as a machine learning technique. \u0000Unique contribution to practice: It improved the airtime vending system's efficiency and sustainable management of airtime agent. It facilitates safe selling and buying of airtime across the country especially in rural areas where getting airtime seemed to be a problem. The Internet is also used for linking cloud platform and application users.it indicates that the vending machine can provide positive impact in society including self-service of airtime to citizens from nearby vendors, the distribution of machines country wide can increase employability.

In this regard, an environmentally friendly vegetable oil-based mud from Raphia Sese oil (ester oil) was formulated and its rheological properties and economics abilities analyzed. \u0000Methodology: The rheological properties of the mud such as plastic viscosity, yield point, flow index, apparent viscosity, consistency index, dial readings, density, and pH were evaluated at unaged conditions from 80 oF to 200 oF. \u0000Findings: The results showed that Raphia sese oil base mud was compatible with the conventional oilfield additives. Though its mud naturally recorded a low pH (8.3) due to the low pH of the Raphia sese oil (5.53), with improved extraction process and with the addition of pH additives, this could be enhanced. When compared with diesel-based mud, the Raphia sese based oil mud recorded higher density values and promising rheological properties. Though the initial cost of conditioning Raphia sese oil for mud formulation purposes was high, it was offset by its disposal cost as compared to that of diesel oil (saves about 34% the cost of using diesel). \u0000Recommendation: From the findings, it is recommended that the recovery process of the Raphia sese oil as well as its thermal oxidation stability should be improved. Again, higher thermal conditioning testing must be done to ascertain the stability of the Raphia sese oil at higher temperatures. Also, the Congolese nation could consider the domestication of the Raphia sese palm to increase the production of its oil and the nation could go into the improved cultivation to promote local content and participation policy of the oil.

The rationale for the e-Commerce definition emanates from the fact that Tanzania has lagged behind in acquiring, adopting and using e-Commerce. Many factors could be responsible for the low usage of e-Commerce among the SMEs in Tanzania. In order to determine the factors that inhibit the adoption of e-Commerce, SMEs were confronted in their quest to indicate the factors intricate the adoption of e-Commerce, among those were: Organizational factor, Environmental factor, Political and legal (regulatory policies) factor and Communication factor, followed by lack of ICTs tools, lack of financial resources, online security and several other reasons. At the same time, the research provides insights into understanding e-Commerce adoption by SMEs in the context of Tanzania.

This method was chosen since it is more reliable, economical, and efficient in terms of time and resources. In addition, the researcher opted to use recent studies since they provide more updated information on the AI technologies that have significant impact on the insurance industry. \u0000Findings: The results of the study revealed that the reviewed studies consisted of contextual and conceptual gaps. This is because some of the studies did not target insurance companies but other companies hence the findings may not be applicable to the insurance industry. In addition, most of these studies discussed the insurance opportunities and benefits at in depth, but failed to discuss on the challenges that insurance firms face in an artificial intelligence society. \u0000Unique Contribution to Theory, Practice and Policy: The findings of this study will be relevant to the main players in the insurance industry. The management team of the insurance companies will have a better understanding of how the various AI technologies are adopted to the different insurance operations so as to improve business efficiency. The study has also been able to outline the main challenge that the insurance sector experience in the adoption of AI, this will encourage the management to consider investing in training programmes so as to improve the skills of their employees. On the other hand, the policymakers will also benefit from this study when developing better legal frameworks that promote the adoption of AI. Further, the study will also be useful academically to researchers and scholars by expanding the body of information on insurance and artificial intelligence, which is still scarce. Schrader, Richard Schrader, Sterling Richard
Purpose: Hydraulic fracturing processes are conducted to create new fractures in a rock to increase the size, extent, and connectivity of existing fractures. The American Petroleum Institute (API) developed two testing procedures for measuring conductivity of proppants in a laboratory setting, namely; the Short-Term Proppant Conductivity Testing Procedure and Long-Term Proppant Conductivity Testing Method. However, these laboratory testing methods have produced inconsistent results, with a significant coefficient of variance of ±80% from one test to the other even with the use of the same proppants and procedures. Thus, this work seeks to use an improved laboratory variance from Montana Tech conductivity measurements to model hydraulic fractures in reservoir simulation to evaluate how it performs or compares with field performance. \u0000Methodology: Montana Tech researchers have developed new proppant conductivity testing methods to lower this variance. These testing procedures showed more consistent results with an average variance of ±7.6% and ±14.3% in ceramic and sand proppants respectively. These tests were all done at laboratory conditions and therefore this work used field production data obtained from the Willison Bakken Formation and an arbitrary high permeability value as a benchmark against the fracture models built using laboratory results from the new methods of measuring proppant conductivity testing by Montana Technological University. \u0000Findings: The conductivity values corresponding with 6,500 psi closure stress obtained for sand and ceramic were 2,133.5 md-ft and 4,870.3 md-ft respectively. The high permeability model recorded an incremental recovery increase of 42% over the unfractured model. Similarly, the laboratory sand and ceramic models had an incremental recovery increase of 12.9% and 33% respectively over the unfractured model. The dimensionless fracture conductivity for the laboratory sand, laboratory ceramic and high permeability models were 1,246, 2,844 and 233,577 respectively. Generally, laboratory conductivity overestimates field performance, however, this work did not show an improvement in modeling fractures using laboratory data as a result of the extremely low porosity and permeability values of the Bakken wells used for the study and the limitedness of the software package used. Simulation of low permeability reservoirs is still an area in development as traditional models often fail to produce results that match the physics. It is possible that as simulation methods for these types of reservoirs improve, the new laboratory data for fracture conductivity will prove beneficial in modeling. \u0000Unique contribution to theory, practice and policy (recommendation): A sensitivity analysis should be performed in Petrel that starts with the laboratory fracture conductivity and ends with infinite fracture conductivity. This would help determine the effect of correctly measuring fracture conductivity.
