This stimulation leads to plasmonic resonance, which occurs at specific frequencies when the materials oscillate. These phenomena offer significant advantages in achieving wide bandwidths for various components in microwave communities <xref ref-type=\"bibr\" r xmlns:mml=\"http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML\" xmlns:xlink=\"http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink\">[1]</xref>\u0000. The goal of this article is to explore how periodic and aperiodic lattice structures impact the resonance properties of these structures. The findings indicate that both periodic and aperiodic lattice structures have minimal effects on the resonances. To achieve these facilities, multifunctional devices (MFDs) are necessary. An MFD is an electromagnetic radiating or receiving device that offers additional functions that might comprise multiple bands, reconfiguration, filtering, and active devices. A frequency-reconfigurable radiating device is able to adjust its frequency of operation over a wide bandwidth, which reduces the need for multiple radiating devices for different wireless services. An optimal design can be accomplished by using an optimization algorithm. Such an optimizer is set to iteratively find the optimized design with respect to predefined specifications starting from an initial design stage by invoking an EM simulator each time for evaluating the design evolution and optimization feasibility.
