Specifically, MTT-S interests include the theory and applications of radio waves and guided-wave and wireless technologies (comprising nanostructures, devices, integrated circuits, multicircuit assemblies, components, packages, transmission lines, and subsystems) as well as systems involving the generation, amplification, processing, modulation, control, transmission, reception, detection, demodulation, and effects of electromagnetic energy transport. The event hosted 110 participants from 23 countries, of which approximately 40% were female.
