There was an unmet need for the analysis and forecast of the development of events. The forecast was needed to make the managerial decisions in terms of knowledge on the dynamics of the pandemic, considering and analyzing the incoming official statistics about the pandemic, modeling and predicting the behavior of this statistics. Due to the objective and subjective factors, the available statistics is far from the unknown true data regarding the pandemic. Therefore, strictly speaking, it was necessary to model and predict not the dynamics of the pandemic, but the dynamics of the official (i.e. government) statistics on the pandemic. This paper proposes a new model, referred to as the new opportunities model, to monitor, analyze and forecast the government statistics on COVID-19 pandemic. A modeling approach is offered in this regard. The modeling approach is important as it answers simple questions on what awaits us in the near future, which is the current phase of the pandemic and when all this will be over. The new opportunities model is applied to three different countries in terms of area, economy and population, namely Russia, Romania and Moldova, plus the Campania region in Italy, and proves to be efficient over other similar models including the classical Susceptible-Infected (SI) model.","PeriodicalId":54448,"journal":{"name":"Romanian Journal of Information Science and Technology","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":3.5,"publicationDate":"2023-03-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42264856","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"计算机科学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Applications of the immittances to the design of selective filters and LC-type linear voltage controlled quadrature oscillator (LVCQO) are presented. Experimental results based on PSPICE simulation and hardware design for a linear range of oscillation frequency (fo ~ 13.6MHz) with satisfactory phase-noise figure on the oscillator wave response had been verified. Effects of the Active Building Block (ABB)-nodal imperfections are analyzed to be insignificant. The new ideas in this article are two types of immittance functions realizable in the same topology; appropriate frequency-domain selective responses are also presented with experimentation results.","PeriodicalId":54448,"journal":{"name":"Romanian Journal of Information Science and Technology","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":3.5,"publicationDate":"2023-03-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"49388221","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"计算机科学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The transformation is performed by using the RDF Mapping Language (RML). Its advantages are summarized, which are mainly due to the fact that the rules created build a knowledge base. By applying SPARQL (SPARQL Protocol and RDF Query Language) queries to it, the possibility of explore in order to validate and improve the defined RML rules themselves, is pointed out. An approach for reversing from the RDF triples to the original X3D in a unique way is considered, and the types of SPARQL queries needed for its implementation are systematized. Rules are formulated for all elements defined in the X3D schema, their attributes and properties are described. Their accessibility is ensured. The conversion of X3D models to RDF is confirmed to be consistent with guidelines and best practices for creating accessible, understandable, and reusable ontologies on the Web. The systematized SPARQL query types for reversing from RDF triples to the original X3D are checked for specific elements and sample data, and the obtained results establish their correctness. The prerequisites and limitations of the represented approach are explained. The proposed approach allows building a comprehensive knowledge base that includes the RML rules, the transformed X3D models and the domain-specific ontology and its use to analyzing data and semantic reasoning. The electronic libraries that include 3D content could take advantage from the benefits and possible future applications of the solutions discussed in this study.\"","PeriodicalId":54448,"journal":{"name":"Romanian Journal of Information Science and Technology","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":3.5,"publicationDate":"2023-03-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48627353","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"计算机科学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

On this basis it is described the Informational Model of Consciousness and the functions and operability of the Informational System of the Human Body, allowing to define and understand the Cognitive-Sentient Exploration of Reality used as a tool by our predecessors to create some archaic models of the universe and human, remained up to date as references from philosophic point of view, and still operating nowadays in the creative sciences and arts fields in our informational era. Introducing the concept of information-related matter, it was possible to explain the informational processes in human body and eukaryotic/prokaryotic cells, the basic units of life, and to show that in the living entities an informational system operating similarly with that of the human can be identified and defined as Informational System of the Living Structures. The predictive properties of the Cognitive-Sentient Exploration of Reality is nowadays assisted by the predictive big data analysis, helping in various scientific domains where a high quantity of data was accumulated, including in the bioengineering field and human health, particularly for the prediction of the evolution of COVID-19 cases in the world, with examples for Romania, Spain and USA. Multiple applications involving artificial intelligence and the informational models of human and living structures for a healthy society are mentioned, in particular in neurosciences, biosciences and bioengineering. The priority of the Romanian concepts on information and the important contribution of the Romanian informational science oriented to understand the brain functions/operability and applications in biomedical field is highlighted.","PeriodicalId":54448,"journal":{"name":"Romanian Journal of Information Science and Technology","volume":"419 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136151822","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"计算机科学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of the goals of NLP is to identify various semantic information in the text. Currently, the mainstream semantic recognition tasks focus more on using the semantic information of each word in the text to perform semantic analysis of the entire sentence. The research on semantics in cognitive linguistics indicates that semantics is determined by both the words contained in the sentence and the arrangement of the words. Linguists refer to permutations and combinations containing certain semantic information as constructions. Since the construction plays an essential role in semantic information, identifying various constructions in text is a crucial work of semantic recognition tasks. Based on this background, the main works performed in this paper are as follows: 1) The definition and program representation of constructions and the corresponding constraints in NLP tasks are proposed. 2) A frequent construction mining algorithm is proposed to extract frequent structures that meet the construction requirements in the grammar structure tree. Based on the above works, the corresponding construction database can be extracted for the specified natural language corpus, which is helpful for more effective text semantic analysis.\"","PeriodicalId":54448,"journal":{"name":"Romanian Journal of Information Science and Technology","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":3.5,"publicationDate":"2023-03-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46642132","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"计算机科学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
