However, with the advent of multimodality, travel reviews have brought new challenges. Early methods for detecting such reviews merely combined text and image features, resulting in poor feature correlation. To address this issue, our study proposes a novel multimodal tourism review sentiment analysis method enhanced by relevant features. Initially, we employ a fusion model that combines BERT and Text-CNN for text feature extraction. This approach strengthens semantic relationships and filters noise effectively. Subsequently, we utilize ResNet-51 for image feature extraction, leveraging its ability to learn complex visual representations. Additionally, integrating an attention mechanism further enhances modality correlation, thereby improving fusion effectiveness. On the Multi-ZOL dataset, our method achieves an accuracy of 90.7% and an F1 score of 90.8%. Similarly, on the Ctrip dataset, it attains an accuracy of 83.6% and an F1 score of 84.1%.","PeriodicalId":54045,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Information Systems in the Service Sector","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.6,"publicationDate":"2024-07-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141828275","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Nonetheless, PPP projects have numerous risks which influence each other and can cause project failures. Unfortunately, current studies related to the PPP risk association have not provided adequate details. This paper tries to fill the literature gap by proposing a practical approach in analyzing the relationship among PPP risks. First, the research identifies risk for PPP projects in the Palestinian construction industry by integrating the interviews and literature review. Next, this study reflects the associations among the risks and reveals the failure instruments of PPP projects using FISM (fuzzy interpretative structural modeling). Besides, this paper uses MICMAC (matrix impact cross-reference multiplication applied to a classification) and FISM method to discover and finalized the 19 crucial risk elements. The MICMAC-FISM approach reckons the fuzzy of the PPP risk association and enhances upon previously published works.","PeriodicalId":54045,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Information Systems in the Service Sector","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.6,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42888736","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These factors are crucial to investigate because many private institutions working for emerging markets have limited resources that delay implementing technologies, particularly sustainability-based technologies integrated with enterprise management. On the other hand, governments have the resources and power to affect STI significantly. Hence, the research investigates the role of government as an influential determinant in attaining efficient and effective implementation. This study uses the SEM-PLS and fsQCA methods to analyze the data gathered from 251 SMEs in Tonga. The findings show that government subsidies and policies significantly and positively affect firms' morals and attitudes regarding STI in Tonga. Also, perceived benefit and perceived cost significantly affect STI in Tongan SMEs. The research is an initial effort to examine such effects in the SMEs of a Pacific Island country.","PeriodicalId":54045,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Information Systems in the Service Sector","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.6,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46884959","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, many products or services now have a large number of online reviews, which makes it difficult for consumers to decide which reviews to pay attention to, or for businesses to identify which critical areas to improve on. The use of text mining and sentiment mining techniques is deemed important to automatically process the content of online reviews and help improve review usefulness. Applying a four-phase research model, our study demonstrated data extraction and cleaning, topic modeling using Latent Dirichlet allocation (LDA) to extract five topics (Price, Time, Food, Service, and Location), sentiment analysis using Python TextBlob to aggregate consumer sentiment per topic from a Yelp restaurant reviews dataset, and model performance evaluation. We proposed that the design of recommender systems for OCRs or business decision-making systems can be faster, simpler, and more useful by integrating automatic topics extraction and sentiment analysis.","PeriodicalId":54045,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Information Systems in the Service Sector","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.6,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44605992","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For the outsourcing of IT services, many companies use the contract service model and set up a project to implement timely IT requests which constantly arrive at different IT sites. The demand for outsourced IT services and related workforce coordination is a permanent decisional process, yet existing studies mainly focus on the one-time assignment or the centralized service model. Hence, this paper bases on the multi-period and multi-service allocation requirement to develop a sustainable assignment model. The model handles continuous service requests and decentralized worker assignments to optimize overall costs under the fixed-price contract type of IT service. A real industrial service case is reported to illustrate the model. A comparative review with related works is also provided to discuss the contributions of the model and to outline its future research and development.","PeriodicalId":54045,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Information Systems in the Service Sector","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.6,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43359999","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
