Objective : The existing literature lacks consensus on the term ‘ employee experience ’ and its antecedents, hence this study aims to conceptualize the term ‘ employee experience ’ and study in-depth its antecedents as reported in the literature. Method : The study uses systematic literature review (SLR) methodology along with relational analysis to achieve the objectives identi fi ed for this paper. Conclusion : The authors successfully provide a working de fi nition of employee experience for theory and practice and have categorized the 46 antecedents of employee experience (identi fi ed from 28 journal articles) into two types, viz. individual and organizational. This comprehensive listing of antecedents, whether empirically examined or not, is ex-pected to aid researchers and practitioners alike in practice, research, and theory building.","PeriodicalId":53295,"journal":{"name":"Management Dynamics in the Knowledge Economy","volume":"4 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"75874395","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, due to the low absorption capacity, many micro and small entrepreneurs and managers lack the necessary managerial skills. We collected data from MSMEs owners and managers in Tanzania to examine the managerial skills required and their effect on business performance based on thematic content analysis and regression analysis. The results show that the managerial skills of MSMEs owners and managers have a significantly positive effect on MSMEs performance, in particular, financial management, marketing, human relations, and entrepreneurial skills were crucial skills in running small businesses successfully. However, financial management, marketing and entrepreneurial skills were the main skills gaps for many MSMEs owners and managers, suggesting that education, mentoring, and training in these areas for MSMEs owners and managers need to be strengthened. This study argues that since young people form the majority of the stakeholders running small businesses, targeted policies and strategies to promote entrepreneurship among young people through entrepreneurial learning and experiences can help instil an entrepreneurial mindset, one of the crucial skills in small business management.","PeriodicalId":53295,"journal":{"name":"Management Dynamics in the Knowledge Economy","volume":"10 1","pages":"343 - 359"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45444815","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

More questionable is that about 11.4% of its citizens are living below the national poverty line despite the national wealth. However, the acceptance that poverty for some is an unfortunate consequence of free markets is present among a strong majority of the American population. By using a ballpark method from, the Gini Coefficient, Equivalence Adjustment, and Mean Logarithmic Deviation, this study illustrates how persistent income inequality is a result of class warfare – a socioeconomic competition among the social classes which plays a vital role in the pursuit of the American Dream. The study recommends that to restore an economy where everyone gets a fair shot, the government needs to make sure that everyone plays by the same set of rules. Tackling high inequalities will create opportunities for all, and education should become a fundamental right for all and not a privilege for the few.","PeriodicalId":53295,"journal":{"name":"Management Dynamics in the Knowledge Economy","volume":"10 1","pages":"391 - 406"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"69230593","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

COVID-19 has impacted every human being and operational system throughout the land. The pandemic has caused challenging times for businesses, financial markets, government agencies, and academia. One area frequently overlooked is COVID-19’s impact implications for workplaces, working practices, and Human Resource Management (HRM) operationalization. This literature review aims to identify best practices implemented for the sustainability of Human Resources (HR) functions and the survival of institutions in the age of a dynamic public health crisis. This is an effective approach to better understand the disruptions caused by COVID-19 on HRM and examine how this pandemic has impacted organizations. The findings obtained focus on four main pillars: (1) recruitment, retention, and the Great Resignation, (2) employee well-being and wellness, (3) remote work options, practices, and professionalism, and (4) HR practitioners’ leadership development. These have continued to be salient themes interwoven throughout many articles. These findings suggest that talent and having the most experienced, operationalized, and professional individuals as part of one’s organization are paramount to its success. Upskilling is imperative, and all stakeholders must be open to the inevitability of change as change is constant.","PeriodicalId":53295,"journal":{"name":"Management Dynamics in the Knowledge Economy","volume":"10 1","pages":"330 - 342"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45433207","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the context of the ever-increasing digitalization process, the research aimed to explore the current situation within the organizational setting to provide evidence on the type of media and content used and with a view to identifying possible trends. To objectively assess the situation, the study employed models developed by various researchers to measure CSR disclosure on corporate websites, Facebook and Twitter accounts. The results of the study indicate that the selected Romanian companies make limited use of online media for the purpose to reveal CSR. They rather prefer corporate websites and Facebook accounts to communicate such information to stakeholders, while Twitter is rarely utilized. The findings point to the fact that education and social development are the areas of CSR where Romanian companies mostly contribute, but, at the same time, they signal that the advantages and advances availed by systemic digitalization are yet to be properly exploited against the backdrop of CSR disclosure.","PeriodicalId":53295,"journal":{"name":"Management Dynamics in the Knowledge Economy","volume":"10 1","pages":"304 - 329"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44364780","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The issue of earnings management is theoretically defined in the paper from two angles - theoretical and visual analysis. The paper offers various sources and different earnings management-related elements at the theoretical level. The objective of the paper is to outline the most recent developments in the research field of earnings management, which is a subset of a larger collection of ideas, including financial fraud, employee incentives, and governmental laws to reveal the effects and consequences these practices may have on. The stakeholders and capital market. By expressing the publishing activity in the scientific section of Web of Science over the span of 67 years, the visual portion is also presented using bibliometric analysis- a method for exploring and analysing large amounts of scientific data. The accepted outputs are also particular instances of companies with a history of deception, understood in terms of their revenue report. The theoretical level for the idea of earnings management, as well as a visual comprehension of the significance of this earnings management issue, are presented in a long-term horizon to declare and underline the importance of the research issue in corporate practice.","PeriodicalId":53295,"journal":{"name":"Management Dynamics in the Knowledge Economy","volume":"10 1","pages":"360 - 375"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41647442","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We apply different tests of dependence, long memory, volatility clustering and unit root tests over the three main Algerian exchange rate returns series vis–à-vis the US Dollar, the Euro, and the British Pound. Empirical findings suggest that combined Autoregressive Moving Average (ARMA)-Fractionally Integrated Generalized Autoregressive Conditional Heteroskedastic (FIGARCH) models were the most appropriate to represent the behavior of exchange rate returns. We also compare the predictive qualities of the estimated models and the Random Walk (RW) in terms of out-of-sample forecasting. The results are held to imply the rejection of the EMH in the Algerian exchange rate market. Therefore, the exchange rates fluctuations can be predicted, which may help public authorities intervene in the exchange market and assess the consequences of different economic policies.","PeriodicalId":53295,"journal":{"name":"Management Dynamics in the Knowledge Economy","volume":"10 1","pages":"376 - 390"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"47461521","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The impact of Supply Chain Innovative Practices (SCIPs) on customer retention in manufacturing SMEs is not well recognized. This paper aims to examine the extent to which manufacturing SMEs embrace SCIPs and their impact on customer retention. A simple random sampling technique and cross-sectional research design were used. Data were collected from 168 SME owners in Mwanza-Tanzania using a questionnaire survey to test the relevance of transactional cost theory in ascertaining the impact of SCIPs on customer retention. To determine the relationship between SCIPs and customer retention, Multiple Linear Regression was used. The study spotted e-supply chain, customisation, just in time, collaborative SC, reverse logistics, SC configurations, green supply chain, outsourcing and cross-docking as the most SCIPs adopted in manufacturing SMEs. The spotted SCIPs showed a positive link and significant impact on customer retention in Tanzania’s manufacturing SMEs. Only reverse logistics had a non-significant impact. SCIPs are important tools for customer retention. Therefore, all actors along the supply chain of manufacturing SMEs should aim at adopting SCIPs to improve performance, satisfy and retain customers. The study enriches the literature by documenting the role of SCIPs in customer retention in manufacturing SMEs.","PeriodicalId":53295,"journal":{"name":"Management Dynamics in the Knowledge Economy","volume":"10 1","pages":"272 - 286"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44316520","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
