The urban forest of the National Wirakarya Campsite is quite attractive, has a lovely view, is close to the road, and is easily accessible by the residents. This study aims to determine the structure of vegetation, biomass, and carbon values stored in the urban forest of the National Wirakarya Campsite, Bongohulawa, Gorontalo Regency, Gorontalo Province. The method used is a survey method with a quantitative descriptive research design. The sampling method used is a purposive sampling model based on land cover in the urban forests. For the measurement of the vegetation structure, the sampling of vegetation in the observation plots is carried out by using the number of sample plots that are placed regularly by calculating the Relative Density (RD), Relative Frequency (RF), and Relative Dominance (RDo), then the data obtained are tabulated to provide IVI. To measure the carbon stocks on the surface (stems), a non-destructive sampling method is used with an Allometric equation based on the plant species. The results showed, there were 13 families, 20 species, and 824 individuals. The vegetation structure in the urban forest of Bongohulawa National Wirakarya Campsite (PWN) has an IVI above 15 percent on average. The sawlog level is dominated by the Gmelina arborea (beechwood) species with an IVI of 98.36 percent, the pole level is dominated by the Swietenia mahagagoni (mahogany) with an IVI of 165.37 percent, the sapling level was dominated by Swietenia mahagoni with an IVI of 160.99 percent and the seedling level was dominated by Lantana camara (tembelekan) with an IVI of 32.25 percent. The content of biomass stored in the standing trees is 1,190.45 tons/ha, with the largest amount of biomass is at the sawlog level of 1,135.43 tons/year or 95.43 percent, the total biomass at the pole level is 45.10 tons/year or 3.79 percent and the amount of long-term biomass is 9.32 tons/year or 0.78 percent. The utilization of hydropower can achieve green energy as part of green econony. To analyze the role of hydropower in driving Indonesia's green energy, the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) method was employed. The results show that increased electricity production from hydropower will reduce environmental damage. Meanwhile, the use of fossil fuels will harm the environment for short and long periods. Indonesia is still in a scale of effect because environmental damage indicated by CO2 emission continuously increases due to economic activities. In addition, there is a bidirectional relationship between GDP and CO2 emissions. This means that Indonesia needs a sustainable economic growth. In addition, there is a bidirectional relationship between electricity production from hydropower and CO2 emissions. At the same time, a unidirectional causality presents from GDP to electricity production from hydropower, coal consumption to GDP, and consumption of oil and natural gas to CO2 emissions. Kajian mengenai emisi karbon yang dihasilkan oleh industri merupakan kajian yang layak untuk dilakukan dengan berbagai pertimbangan, baik melalui peraturan pemerintah maupun kondisi aktivitas industri yang menyebabkan terjadinya peningkatan polutan karbon (CO2) dari tahun ke tahun seiring dengan perkembangan industri di tanah air yang membutuhkan tindakan pengendalian yang dilakukan secara aktif dan dinamis. Usaha untuk mengurangi sumber pencemaran CO2 dapat dilakukan dengan menghentikan kenaikan konsentrasi CO2 yang berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap penurunan konsentrasi CO2 di udara. Masalah yang difokuskan pada penelitian ini yakni identifikasi metode ramah lingkungan untuk mereduksi emisi CO2. Metode tersebut dapat menjadi solusi alternatif untuk menyerap dan menyimpan cemaran emisi CO2 dengan mengkonversinya menjadi senyawa lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat rancangan bioreaktor untuk pengendalian emisi CO2 berbasis pada kemampuan tanaman dalam menyerap emisi CO2. Penelitian ini dibagi menjadi tiga tahapan yakni tahapan persiapan atau identifikasi awal, tahapan desain dan perakitan bioreaktor, tahapan terakhir berupa interpretasi hasil dan simpulan. Desain bioreaktor memiliki dimensi 1m x 1,5m yang dilengkapi dengan sensor gas, suhu dan kelembaban. Keberhasilan bioreaktor diidentifikasi dengan laju penyerapan CO2 oleh bahan isian (rumput teki (Cyperus Rotundus L), rumput paragis/rumput belulang (Eleusine Indica L) dan meniran (Phyllanthus Urinaria)). Bahan isian yang efektif adalah rumput teki dan rumput paragis. Konstanta laju penyerapan CO2 rata-rata pada rumput teki, = 0,101281/jam. There are both internal and external elements that influence people's willingness to participate in managed waste. The purpose of this research is to identify the external elements in the coastal community of Teluk Turtle Cilacap that influence inhabitants' involvement in garbage management. Methods included conducting in-depth interviews with 204 eligible beachgoers in the Teluk Penyu area and collecting data through observation and questionnaires. This research found that 42.1% of the variation in people involvement in controlling Teluk Turtle beach garbage was attributable to five factors: community leaders, information, incentives, local institutional capabilities, and infrastructure. Citizens' engagement in waste management is most directly influenced by incentives and community leaders and least by the local community's access to relevant knowledge, resources, and infrastructure. Unlike the knowledge variable, which can entirely mediate the relationship between community leaders, facilities, and the competency of local institutions and participation, the incentive variable can fully mediate the relationship between facilities and participation. As this research shows, environmental factors have a substantial impact on waste management involvement among Teluk Turtle people. Kinerja reactor dinilai berdasarkan variasi konsentrasi dan debit influen air limbah. Bioball digunakan dalam reaktor biofilter sebagai media lekat untuk pertumbuhan mikroba. Reaktor mampu mendegradasi zat organik dengan persentase penyisihan tertinggi. In addition to the relatively high selling price, oil derived from the eucalyptus plant is needed by various industrial sectors to be used as an essential ingredient for medicine. However, when we examine the daily lives of eucalyptus oil farmers, we will find that the economic situation is quite worrying, and the socio-economic environment lags behind the workers in other sectors. If natural resources are abundant, eucalyptus oil workers should be able to have a decent life, especially amid the Covid-19 pandemic, which severely limits the social and economic space of workers. This study uses a phenomenological approach, the determination of informants using a purposive sampling technique based on predetermined criteria and determined based on the research objectives. Field findings show that farmers use physical adaptation strategies to meet production targets, negatively impacting labor and land sustainability. Excessive time and work patterns result in the emergence of physical insecurity among farmers, as well as land degradation, which endangers the survival of farmers. Air tanah berada pada akuifer pasiran dengan kedalaman sangat dangkal (1-2 m) dari permukaan tanah. Tataguna lahan yang berkembang adalah pemukiman, perkebunan, persawahan, tambak, dan pembangkit listrik tenaga uap (PLTU). Penelitian bertujuan mengidentifikasi intrusi air laut pada akuifer di Pantai Menganti menurut karakteristik fisika-kimia dan kadar ion klorida serta keterkaitannya dengan tataguna lahan. Pengukuran dan pengambilan sampel air tanah dilakukan dengan metode random sampling pada tataguna lahan yang berbeda. Pengukuran karakteristik fisika dan kimia air tanah yaitu pH, daya hantar listrik (DHL), total dissolved solid (TDS) dilakukan langsung di lapangan sedangkan analisis kadar ion klorida di laboratorium. Penelitian menunjukkan air tanah alami secara umum memiliki karakteristik pH relatif normal, DHL < 1500 µS/cm, TDS < 1000 mg/L, dan kadar ion klorida < 35 mg/L. Terdapat anomali nilai DHL, TDS, dan Kadar ion klorida yang mengindikasikan intrusi air asin khususnya di pesisir bagian timur. The appropriate selection of Waste to energy (WTE) technologies needs consideration of energy efficiency, financial, and environmental aspects. This article discusses the technical, financial, and environmental side of existing WTE technologies. Waste-to-energy (WTE) technologies include thermal, physical, biochemical, and bio-electrochemical technology. Pyrolysis, gasification, and incineration are thermal technology used to generate energy from waste in the form of heat and syn-gas. Anaerobic digestion and landfill are biochemical technology to to generate energy from waste in the form of biogas. Physical technology is used to to generate energy from waste in the form of refuse-derived fuel (RDF). Microbial fuel cells (MFC) and microbial electrolysis cells (MEC) are the most recent WTE technology that produces electricity and hydrogen fuel. The results of the assessment of existing technology show that anaerobic digestion and landfill are low-cost WTE technology but have a low potential for energy generation. Plasma gasification is WTE technology with a high potential for energy generation, cold gas efficiency (CGE), carbon conversion efficiency (CCE), and H2/CO ratio, low CO2 emissions, and high operating costs. MEC has a high H2-potential for energy generation, low CO2 emissions, and the highest capital cost. Incineration is a common conversion technology with a low potential for energy generation, high CO2 emissions, and high capital costs. Pertumbuhan Kota Malang begitu cepat menyebabkan beberapa area hijau berkurang sehingga meningkatnya aktivitas manusia yang berdampak terhadap lingkungan perairan sebagai habitat odonata. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui keragaman jenis capung dan karakteristik lingkungan lahan perairan terhadap keberadaan komunitas capung di Kota Malang. Penelitian dilakukan pada Juni- Agustus 2022 pada 3 tutupan lahan perairan di Kota Malang yaitu sungai, sawah dan danau. Pengambilan data capung dan lingkungan fisik dan kimia menggunakan metode point count secara random sampling tersebar di Kota Malang. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa capung di Kota Malang ditemukan terdiri dari 2 sub ordo dengan 8 famili dan total 28 spesies dengan indeks keragaman jenis capung di Kota Malang sebesar 2,18 yang tergolong sedang. Oleh karena itu, sumber daya air perlu dilestarikan untuk masa depan. Kajian ini mengidentifikasi kondisi spasial imbuhan di lereng Gunungapi Semeru dan potensi airtanah sebelum dan sesudah letusan gunungapi. Selain itu, pengaruh kondisi daerah resapan dan potensi air tanah pasca erupsi di lereng Gunung Api Semeru juga dianalisis berdasarkan metode Multi Influence Factor (MIF). Penelitian ini menggunakan tujuh parameter yaitu curah hujan, geomorfologi, geologi, kemiringan lereng, tekstur tanah, kerapatan drainase dan tutupan lahan. Parameter-parameter tersebut diukur dengan menggunakan teknik Multiple Influence Factors (MIF), dimana informasi yang diperoleh dari masing-masing parameter ditimbang dan disortir untuk mengevaluasi potensi zona resapan airtanah. Hasil perhitungan dengan menggunakan teknik MIF menunjukkan bahwa terjadi penurunan potensi airtanah di lereng Gunung Api Semeru pasca erupsi, sehingga tidak dapat memberikan pengaruh yang baik terhadap kondisi airtanah di lereng Gunung Api Semeru.
