The use of polluted Sesayap River water for various purposes can be harmful to health, so a study is needed to analyze the factors correlated to the high fecal coliform bacteria. The sampling point was conducted at locations around the intake of PDAM Tidung Pala, namely in Tideng Pale and Tideng Pale Timur Villages. The results showed that the high Fecal coliform bacteria was correlated to the poorly managed waste on the banks of the Sesayap River. There were 16 types of businesses and/or activities found at the study site. Waste from households contributed the most to the generation of Fecal coliform bacteria in the Sesayap River. One of the pollutants from industrial processes is heavy metal in the form of Cr (VI). Cr (VI) is a form of chromium that has high toxicity. Therefore, it is necessary to process Cr (VI), one of which is the use of chitosan-clay film as an adsorbent. Chitosan is an adsorbent that is very abundant in nature and is good for use in the adsorption process of some heavy metals but has a high solubility in acidic pH so the utilization of chitosan adsorbent is limited. This study aims to improve the mechanical stability and resistance of the chitosan film by compositing it with clay and to determine the ability of the chitosan-clay film to absorb Cr (VI) metal ions. Before the stability test, the purity of chitosan was tested using Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR), and the DD value was 80.97% proving the chitosan made had met the standard. The film stability test was carried out by measuring the water absorption (DSA) and tensile strength of the film with various concentrations (2:0.75; 2.5:0.75; 3:0.75) (w/w). Based on the results of the study, the best results were obtained at variations in concentration (3:0.75), namely with a DSA of 142.90% and a tensile strength of 4.434 Mpa. Chitosan-clay adsorbent with the best stability test results was analyzed using the Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) test to determine the structure and morphology, resulting in a film with larger and homogeneous pores. Furthermore, the adsorbent was applied in the adsorption process using a fixed bed reactor system by varying the concentration of waste 20, 30, and 40 mg/L and sampling time to 0, 15, 30, 45, and 60 minutes. In limestone processing, in addition to produce significant air pollution at the process location, also to the the surrounding areas. The purpose of the study was to measure particulate concentration of PM10 and its effect on health of the people living in Padalarang and surroudings. Data collection of PM10 concentration was collected using a particle counter (HTI-9600) and carried out at distance of 1 to 4 km to the east of Padalarang, for 5 days and 12 hours/day, from 07.00 to 19.00 local time. The results showed that the highest concentrations of PM10 in the center of limestone processing was 212 µg/m3, much higher than standards, that is 150 µg/m3. The results also showed that a relatively safe distance for human health due to air pollution is more than 2 km from the center of the limestone industry. The high air pollution caused by the limestone industry is highly correlated with the number of acute respitatory infection (ARI) cases in Padalarang, which is an average of more than 4000 cases/year for three years, from 2019 to 2021. Increasing concentrations of SO2 and NO2 have an effect on decreasing air quality at sample points in industrial areas. Exposure to SO2 and NO2 in humans will affect the health aspects of people exposed to ARI. Most of the exposed population are coal mining and palm oil processing workers. based on the recapitulation of questionnaires to 275 respondents who suffer from health problems (ARI disease) as much as 65.45%, and 34.54% of the population are in good health. The research method used is a case study approach. Primary data obtained from observations and interviews, and document studies. Secondary data obtained from literature study. infection prevention and control program consists of managerial, administrative, environmental control, control with personal protective equipment and surveillance which based on the results of interviews at the Pekanbaru City X Private Hospital has met the requirements of the Decree of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 270/Menkes/SK/III/200 . The environmental quality of the Pekanbaru X Private Hospital is classified as good and has met the requirements of the Decree of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1204/MENKES/SK/X/2004. Patient safety and security at the Pekanbaru X Private Hospital has implemented patient safety goals well but not optimally because from the results of observations there are only two patient safety goals that have received maximum results or 100%, namely increasing the use of drugs with high alert and certainty. right location, right procedure, right patient operation. One of the efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the workplace is implementation of health protocols such as wearing masks, keeping the safe distance, washing hand and avoiding crowds. However, the spread of COVID-19 in the workplace hasn’t been controlled. Therefore the main purpose of this study is to determine the best strategy to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 in the workplace. This was a descriptive study with survey method designed in 6 agencies in Pekanbaru. Data was collected by using questionnaire and survey method then analyzed by univariate analysis and SWOT analysis. The results of this study indicated that most of the agencies have implemented health protocols to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 in the workplace. The results of respondent’s compliance with survey method showed : wearing masks 98.09%, keeping safe distance 90.23% and washing hands 71.67%. The purpose of this study is to calculate physical parameters using MCA (Multi Criteria Analysys) standards, socio-economic parameters using MCA standards, and analyzing vulnerability using Geographic Information Systems. The research method used was purposive sampling, using a sample measurement technique based on the Slovin formula and the data obtained were secondary data. The segment boundary is along the coastline of Pelintung Village which is divided into 17 segments. The coastal area of the eastern part of Pelintung Village is categorized as very vulnerable because the physical parameters, namely geomorphology, elevation, shoreline changes, tides, sea level rise, and dominant waves have the highest MCA values. Environmental factors that can influence consist of the physical environment, the biological environment and the social environment. People's habits that are detrimental to health and lack of attention to environmental hygiene are social environmental factors that can affect the incidence of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF). Policy for prevention and control of DHF in the form of prevention and control strategies for DHF according to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia (2017) is the control of vector-borne dengue by prioritize community empowerment efforts and community participation through the one house one jumantik movement.This research is a qualitative research with a case study method that aims to evaluate the input, process and output of the one house one jumantik movement in the city of Pekanbaru. The study was conducted in Pekanbaru City with the interviewees consisting of staff from the Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever Eradication Section  of the Pekanbaru City Health Office, puskesmas officers, jumantik cadres and the community.The results showed that the implementation of the one house one jumantik movement in prevention and control of dengue fever in Pekanbaru City was still uneven due to lack of awareness and participation of human resources, especially policy makers and the community, the absence of written standard operating procedures, inaccurate reporting systems, limited infrastructure, no rewards and punishment, as well as limited funds and limited mobility due to the covid-19 pandemic. One of the things that supports the increase in ABJ is the availability of funds for the implementation of the one house one jumantik movement, especially the incentives for cadres who go down according to schedule so that cadres can actively carry out socialization, data collection and inspections to the community. The limited funds to support the one house one jumantik movement made this activity not run optimally.
