This qualitative research involved two students who were selected from 30 students of second grade of senior high school that categorized into two groups, namely the students who have a positive and negative attitude toward mathematics by using Attitude Toward Mathematics Inventory (ATMI) questionnaire. One student from each category was selected to be given a proving test and interviewed. Students’ process of proving test and interview recording were collected and analyzed to identify their thinking process. This research points out that both students who have positive and negative attitudes towards mathematics can recall the information in their memory regarding the characteristics and steps to prove using mathematical induction. However, the student who has negative attitudes towards mathematics tends to experience some difficulties in processing information, especially in the induction step, caused by panic, depression, and insecurity. The student who has a positive attitude towards mathematics also experiences some difficulties in the proving process, namely understanding what to prove and compiling the induction steps. However, she keeps trying and believes that she would be able to solve it. The learning media is equipped with a video using SIBI (Indonesian Sign Language System) to make it easier for deaf students to understand the content of the media. This research using 6 stages referring to the Luther-Sutopo development model, namely: concept, design, material, collection, assembly, testing, and distribution. The instruments in this development research were the media validation sheet and the student response questionnaire sheet. This research uses a qualitative approach. Research subjects consist of 4 students selected among 31 students from class IX Junior High School 1 Petarukan, grouped into two students with cognitive style field-dependent (FD) and two students with cognitive style field-independent (FI). Subjects cognitive style was determined by Group Embedded Figures Test (GEFT) score, while errors in problem-solving were determined through TKPS and interviews. Field-dependent subjects tend to make errors in transformation and encoding with low or fair fallacy rate. On the other side, field-independent subjects tend to make errors in understanding the problems with low fallacy rate. The causes of errors made by field-dependent subjects are not being able to make complete mathematical models and not showing what they had searched. Meanwhile, field-independent subjects were incapable of making sketches perfectly. Other researchers' recommendation explains only errors in reading, transformation, processing capability, and encoding of students with cognitive style FD and FI. In this context, there are still a lot of other errors done by students. A media in logarithmic learning are needed so that concept formation can be well received by students. This study aims to determine the validity and effectiveness of penselo media assisted by worksheet in facilitating the formation of students' logarithmic concepts. This is a development research with instruments used in this study are worksheet, media validation sheets, student response questionnaire, and field notes. Grade X students of SMK Telekomunikasi Darul Ulum are the test subjects in this study. The data in this study consisted of quantitative data and qualitative data. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, while qualitative data were analyzed using the stages of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of the validation test on aspects of manual tools were 87.5%, language aspects were 75%, content aspects were 81.25% and other aspects were 81.25%, while student responses were 3.54 which met the very good category. This study aims to describe the mathematics problem solving process of junior high school students in solving circle problems through the process of solving problems in IDEAL. The approach used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling technique. The results showed that, based on the problem-solving process, each subject had a different problem-solving process. S-1 with the category of completely solving problems fulfills the indicators in solving IDEAL problems. S-2 with the category of correct but not perfect does not yet fulfill the IDEAL problem-solving process. S-2 experienced errors when exploring the strategy and implementing the first problem strategy so that the final result was not in accordance with the objectives of the first problem. S-3 with the category of imperfect does not yet fulfill the IDEAL problem-solving process. S-3 only fulfills one IDEAL problem solving indicators, implementing strategies. This development aims to determine that teaching materials in the form of LAS based on Acehnese local wisdom are valid, practical, and effective, and also determine student learning outcomes. This research is a development research using the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The subject of the trial in this study was grade VII-1 students of SMP Negeri 1 Peureulak, East Aceh District. Questionnaires, observations, interviews, and tests are used as data collection techniques and instruments in this research. The data analysis in this study is descriptive analysis using the preparation/development of the LAS product variable and the resulting LAS quality variable. As for student learning outcomes in using LAS can be seen from the results of the LAS analysis, which includes student learning outcomes as one of the effectiveness aspect of LAS and test data on learning outcomes. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the teaching materials in the form of LAS based on Acehnese local wisdom in mathematics learning especially geometry material in Junior High Schools are categorized as valid, practical, and effective. In fact, there are a number of situations that can be observed and solved through both lenses. Therefore, in this study we designed a simultaneous addition and subtraction of two-digit numbers learning trajectory. The learning activities were constructed based on Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) Approach. This design study was conducted in three steps consist of preliminary study, teaching experiments, and retrospective analysis. The teaching experiments were done in two cycle, the first was done with four students and the second was done with 33 students in two classes of an elementary school located in Singaraja, Bali. The data related to number sense ability were gathered from observation and students’ written work in solving worksheet and post-test. The collected data were analyzed using constant comparative method. It was due to the abstract concepts of mathematics and the character of students who entered the concrete operational phase. Ethnomathematics learning could become an effort to overcome those obstacles. The purpose of this study was to determined the effectiveness of learning ethnomathematics \"engklek-game\" on the understanding of geometry concept for third-grade students of SDN 4 Sepanjang Glenmore. This study used a mixed-method approach with the type of experimental research one-group pretest-posttest design. Data collection techniques were through written tests and interviews. The quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and used paired sample t-test. The qualitative data was analyzed by reducing the data, presenting the data, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that learning ethnomathematics \"engklek-game\" obtained Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000, so that it had a significant effect on the understanding of the geometry concept of students in grade III SDN 4 Sepanjang Glenmore. Based on the results of the interview, it found that the student response was good. Because many LMS platforms which can be integrated into learning process, this review only discusses the three LMS platforms which are common, namely Moodle, Edmodo, and Schoology. This review was conducted with the method as proposed by Templier and Paré (2015), in which the literature materials consisted of journal articles, proceedings, and official websites of LMS. The results of this review showed that integrating the LMS in mathematics learning indicated opportunities in terms of the positive impact which can be obtained from integrating the LMS. On the other hand, the identified challenges were about how mathematics content or materials were organized through integrating the LMS, providing feedback, and maximizing the online discussion facility provided by LMS.
