Groups that want Papua to be separated from the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia not only seek support from countries such as Solomon Island or Vanuatu but also voice it to the United Nations forum. In this regard, a historical reflection is needed to provide an overview with an academic approach regarding the validity of Indonesia's claim to the territory of Papua as an inseparable part of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. This study aims to determine international legal practices that are relevant to the legitimacy of West Irian being part of the territory of the Republic of Indonesia and Indonesia's diplomacy in international forums in defending Papua. This study uses a historical approach in the form of a systematic literature review through source collection and is interpreted to answer the focus of this research. The results showed that Indonesia's success in defending Papua after independence was influenced by mastery of the rules of international law, the spirit of struggle of Indonesian diplomats at that time, and international legal practices related to the right to be independent and free from colonialism","PeriodicalId":52819,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Pertahanan Media Informasi tentang Kajian dan Strategi Pertahanan yang Mengedepankan Identity Nasionalism Integrity","volume":"207 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"77746160","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This issue includes a real threat that threatens the nationalism of people living on the border. The purpose of this research is to prove transnationalism from the real life of the people who live on the border of the hamlet of Camar Bulan Temajuk. The use of ethnographic methods deepens the analysis of data in the field in the form of descriptive and objective data taken from 12 informants from different community groups. Field data collection begins with observations and interviews with community informants. The result The data describes various threats and obstacles that come from military threats at the border. However, non-military threats such as the circulation of foreign money, kinship ties, infrastructure, social inequalities, and overly free community interactions have made the psychology of society towards Indonesian nationalism lose and fade. Furthermore, transnationalism also disappears the people's national identity at the border, prides themselves on being Indonesian citizens, and more trust in other countries. This research provides contributions and thoughts related to the real threat of transnationalism to be reference material and evaluation for academics, government, and field practitioners.","PeriodicalId":52819,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Pertahanan Media Informasi tentang Kajian dan Strategi Pertahanan yang Mengedepankan Identity Nasionalism Integrity","volume":"37 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78732255","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The increase in population means that the need for living space also increasing, this can lead to land cover conversion from a vegetation area to a residential area. To find how much the change in land conversion over the year, a spatial analysis over the period of 18 years was needed. So that it is expected to be able to manage spatial planning to cope with disasters in Indonesia. This research uses Landsat 7 and 8 images that have been calculated using the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) method. The results show that between 2010 - 2019, there is an increase in land cover changes in open land/house/building/no vegetation around 814 ha (6.9%), in low vegetation increase 975 ha (8.4%). However, in the medium vegetation was decreasing around 1123 ha (9.5%). Overall observation sample of the ground check is following the actual condition of land cover in Kalianda Sub-district. This study aims to analyze the role of the Indonesian steel industry in supporting the Indonesian defense industry and analyze the steel industry value chain, the competitiveness of domestic steel products against imported steel, and the relationship between the steel industry and the defense industry. This research used sequential mixed research methods, using raw data of manufacturing survey by Central Statistics Agency (BPS). Descriptive analysis, such as geometric growth rate, competitiveness analysis using the Trade Specialization Index (ISP), and analysis of the linkage between upstream and downstream steel industries using the 2010 Input-Output Table, employed in this research. The results showed that out of 16 million tons domestic demand for iron, more than half came from imports. Regarding the role of the steel industry in supporting the defense industry, it can be concluded that the contribution of domestic steel products is very small and has not been able to fully support the defense industry, because there are still many types of steel that must be imported to meet the needs for raw materials for the defense equipment. The 2010 Input-Output Table also shows that the value of domestic steel products used as raw material by the domestic weapons, ammunition, and metallurgy industries was only around IDR. 247.44 billion or only 0.14% of the total domestic use of steel.","PeriodicalId":52819,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Pertahanan Media Informasi tentang Kajian dan Strategi Pertahanan yang Mengedepankan Identity Nasionalism Integrity","volume":"62 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"83831297","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
