It takes strong mentality to be able to continue being entrepreneurial in the midst of the current crisis conditions. Students are young people who are synonymous with imagination, creative, fast, instantaneous and have lots of ideas. Moreover, students who are familiar with entrepreneurship. Students are also technology literate people, including information technology. Therefore, it is necessary to have the role of lecturers who can really open students' insights or thinking horizons. Using research and research results to be able to pave the way for young entrepreneurs to create new innovations, solve problems or to predict conditions that will occur in the future, and so on. Apart from the internal involvement of the university, the presence of the government, private sector, and the media and others (pentahelix) is the strength of collaboration as the key to the success of the rapid economic growth after the Covid 19 pandemic. © 2021 Karadeniz Technical University. It has affected students and their in education in higher numbers than any other sector putting them into a depression. Hence this research attempts to suggest solutions for reducing depression amongst students amidst the pandemic. This work proposes ESVMs (Enhanced Support Vector Machines) model for its predictions. Identifying student performances is complex issue as the numbers are voluminous and hence the objective of this research is to assess student performance prediction model by using an efficient clustering method. Missing values and irrelevant data are resolved in this work using SCCs (Statistical correlation Coefficients) which work on subject wise manner or student wise data. This work also provides a novel solution for data pre-processing. IFCM (Improved Fuzzy C-means clustering) proposed in this work identifies high quality clusters with robustness. Further, the use of PSO (Particle Swarm Optimization) in feature selections improves its efficiency of the given data. Classifications are executed by the proposed ESVMs which predicts student's grade with accuracy. The evaluation results of this study improve classification accuracy significantly when compared to existing prediction models. © 2021 Karadeniz Technical University. The teaching factory model framework is expected to improve SMK student's competency analytically and experimentally. This research uses a qualitative method consist of literature review, interview, and field survey. There are 6 (six) SMKs that is the object of this research, namely SMKN 9 Bandung, SMKN 11 Bandung, SMKN 1 Cipendeuy, SMKN 6 Garut, SMKN 1 Mundu, and SMKN 1 Pacet. This research shows that student competency can be improved through TF-6M training according to the industry needs, training for students and teachers through KKSI (Kamp Kreatif SMK Indonesia) using online learning, and facilities like laboratory or workshop that must be adjusted to Industry-standard (INDUKA). Furthermore, students' and teachers' professionalism can be obtained through the Professional Certification Test organized by INDUKA and SMKs. The population was the learners studying various programmes through ODL mode under various schools of studies in Tamil Nadu Open University, Chennai during the year 2020-2021. A sample of 1081 learners was selected by voluntary response sampling method and the data were collected through online mode. A Distance Education Attitude Scale (DEAS) during COVID-19 Crisis developed and standardized by Tzivinikou, Charitaki & Kagkara (2020) was used for assessing the level of learners’ attitude towards open and distance learning during COVID-19 crisis. The collected data were statistically analyzed with percentile analysis, mean, standard deviation, t-test, F-test, Tukey’s multiple comparison test in the SPSS v.21. The findings show that the Tamil Nadu Open University learners’ are having positive attitude towards open and distance learning during COVID-19 crisis and there is no significant difference in the attitude of learners towards open and distance learning during COVID-19 crisis in terms gender, locality, programme of study, subject of the programme and employment status. © 2021 Karadeniz Technical University. Educators are confronted with various challenges to be creative in delivering instructions despite several limitations caused by the pandemic. Thus, the gamification approach embedded in modular instruction in education is integrated by making each lesson interactive through progress trackers and badges in every game-based related activities to the lessons that have been used to sustain and enhance students’ motivation and learning engagement in the modular setup through a conducted Randomized Block Research Design. In this paper, the objectives were to (1) determine the profile of the students in terms of the type of institution they belong to, sex, age, degree program, and the course they were enrolled in the 2nd Semester A.Y. 2019-2020. Second (2) it determined the assessment of the module in terms of three areas such as format, content, and gamified features of the module. It also (3) tested the significant difference of the mean assessment of the module when grouped according to profile so that the educators will know how to contextualize the gamified module for its possible improvement. Notwithstanding, the concluded integration of the aspects of the module in terms of the format, content, and gamified features were all highly received positively by the 279 purposive-conveniently sampled respondents who participated from a local college in Laguna and a state university in Manila from the College of Education. The format, content, and gamified features of the module were all with high regards, however, with some notable remarks including the module cover, color, and template, insufficiency of the illustrative examples, and the improvement of progress tracker, badges, incentive system, and the game-based activities related to the lessons. Also, there is no statistical difference in the perceived use of the gamified module in many areas implied that there is a consistent presentation of the three areas whether in the different institution, age brackets, sex orientation, year levels, degree program, and course taken except those of the format since education courses were oriented to instructional materials standards gave them the ability to assess it more comprehensively. Another significant assessment was traced to content and gamified features of the males since males are more exposed to games perhaps lead them the expectations to a more similar approach to the games they were exposed to. The study recommended that though they find the gamified module as an innovative tool and unique way of learning amid the pandemic, improvements in terms of the badges, the activities presented in the module, and some additional features of the real game such as real and more creative badges, leaderboards and incentive system. Recent studies show the influence of some factors from the institutional environment of the business on the commercial success, especially in the period of COVID-19. But to conduct a full assessment of the impact of the institutional environment on mobile messengers, the study of the influence of this factor alone is not enough. The research paper conducts a study of the influence of the institutional environment on the Telegram messenger, identifies the influence of the level of freedom on the messenger audience, analyze the relationship between the volume of the e-commerce market and the number of messenger users.
