The implication in critical discourse analyses is how this study raises the rules of language and linguistic practices that are implanted together with the relationship of a practice or social act that is often not realized by us so far. This study also criticizes the tendency of language studies to simply use linguistic rules and practices, as objects that are described, in a way that obscures their ideological and political inculcations. In this research, the authors examine the impact of the spread of the virus on the Indonesian economy, as well as the government's response to the public health crisis, as well as the efforts made to overcome the economic crisis that has arisen Covid -19 and 'new normal' based on the textual analysis of Jokowi's Speech. This research was conducted using a qualitative-descriptive type with critical discourse analysis approach. The data was taken from the Cabinet Secretariat of the Republic of Indonesia and online media (tempo). The results showed that online media consistently supported the application of the new normal to restore economic conditions. the Cabinet Secretariat of the Republic of Indonesia emphasizes its frame using sensational and eye-catching vocabulary. © 2021 Karadeniz Technical University. This epidemic disease not only includes high mortality due to viral infection but also caused the psychological disaster in all parts of the world. The paper provides the early Coronavirus stage detection COVID-19, with the methods of machine learning. Support vector machine (SVM) is a two-class classifier which in the recent years attracted a significant attention. The performance of this classifier depends on the amount of its parameters such as C (Penalty Factor) and the existing parameter in kernel. Also the selection of a suitable kernel function has a significant affect in its performance improvement. Besides the mentioned cases, performing the feature selection process not only causes to improve the mentioned performance improvement but also causes to reduce the computation complexity and training time. In this paper, we used the improved partial swarm optimization algorithm (IPSO) to optimize the SVM. Findings illustrated that proposed method could be utilized for diagnosing disease of COVID-19 as the assistant system. Promisingly, the proposed method can be regarded as a useful clinical decision tool for the physicians. © 2021 Karadeniz Technical University. The study employed a systematic evaluation based on Berman's methods by comparing the English and Indonesian text versions. The Indonesian translation was done by Emil Salim, a well-known figure in the translation industry. At a macro level, high adherence was found in text function consistencies, catering to educating young readers about the virus and its effects. At a micro level, however, some expressions were translated in adult-level and less-contemporary language. A conclusion can be drawn that it should use a more contemporary children's language level to represent the original text better. © 2021 Karadeniz Technical University. Recently a vaccine for COVID-19 is identified and being used by a particular age of people. There are different types of tests are being used to identify whether a person is having a corona or not. Mainly, the lung is being affected by people and unable to breath continuously. For diagnosing lunge related problems, Chest x-ray and chest CT imaging techniques are widely used. Various researches are being conducted to identify corona virus by using chest X ray images. Still, a substantial chest x-ray is a lower cost process in comparison to chest CT. Deep Learning techniques are being applied for analyzing a large amount of chest x-ray images which could screen the COVID-19.This paper analysis the various deep learning techniques applied for identifying corona virus symptoms using chest x ray images. Convolutional Neural Network algorithm has achieved 95% accuracy for analyzing COVID 19 and Normal patients. © 2021 Karadeniz Technical University. Online educational engagement systems include all the activities of a learner like listening, reading, writing, and so on. While participating in these activities, a participant may show various levels of engagements like fully engaged, partially engaged and completely not engaged. The participation of online learners has to be identified for an effective learning process. The existing literature could be classified depending upon the learners’ participation as automatic, semi-automatic and manual. Further it could be sub categorised based on the data types used to identify the engagement system. In this paper, a review on computer based automatic online educational engagement detection systems is presented. Several educational engagement methods are applied for computer based online engagement detection systems. In these systems examining a participant’s presence and attention with the modalities of facial expression, eye movement and speech are found to be a challenging task. In this work, it is also identified that there are few challenges like preparation and usage of proper datasets, identifying suitable performance metrics for different tasks involved and providing recommendations for future enhancement of online educational engagement detection by combining the modalities of facial expression, eye movement and speech are still unattended. Though there are several research gaps involved, an online educational engagement system will help the learners to engage themselves in a productive way of learning and getting evaluated efficiently and effectively during the lockdown period of pandemic disease COVID-19 without interrupting their learning process and gaining knowledge. © 2021 Karadeniz Technical University. Descriptive research method was used to get informations of the quality work life balance and motivation. Causal research method was used to know how the influence of work life balance on motivation. Survey questionnaire was used to collect the datas from 69 employee of a telecommunications company in Bandung. The results showed that the work life balance and work motivation of the employees were in the high category even in a pandemic condition. By using multiple regression analysis, the result revealed that work life balance has significant positive influence on motivation by 37,4%. © 2021 Karadeniz Technical University. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all activities in Saudi Arabia have stopped, including Umrah and Hajj pilgrimage. This condition is exacerbated by the fall of the world's oil price that led to a drop in public revenues for the country. In this research, the authors will use the theory of Mercantilism as well as using the qualitative method with the explanatory approach and secondary data to review the case.
