The qualitative part included all related scientific works (212 retrieved works) which according to Sandelowski & Barroso (2007), the initial screening availed 52 works and in the second screening based on CASP 39 documents were finally entered into meta-synthesis coding. The Conceptual modeling and opinion polling stages included 12 experts and managers in the field of human resource management. Main categories' reliability was 0.64 based on Kappa formula. The relative content validity coefficients for the categories of recruitment based on value creation for internal capacities, value increase for external talents and cyberspace of absorption were 1, 1 and 0.66, respectively; all greater than the minimum value (0.79). The findings confirmed the study model with 3 sub-categories, 9 concepts and 76 codes. Finally, the recruitment function at fourth generation universities of the country, in accordance with the indicators of the proposed model, should be one of the priorities of the application of recruitment in the human resource management process at claimed fourth generation universities in country.","PeriodicalId":51913,"journal":{"name":"Iranian Journal of Management Studies","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":1.4,"publicationDate":"2021-09-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45506901","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research explores modeling and analysis of a conflict over the stakeholders of a high-technology corporation. The interaction among the stakeholders is modeled as a game. In this research, we employ a system's engineering approach for modeling and analysis of this intra-organizational conflict, using Graph Model for Conflict Resolution (GMCR+). It is an advanced methodology driven from conflict analysis which has routes in non-cooperative game theory with a non-quantitative approach. This article focuses on a conflict among three parties. The socially optimal solution happens when one player, who has the technical knowledge, finds another investor. Using sensitivity analysis, we find an alternative, more favorable solution to reach a new agreement in setting up two plants (instead of seven) in Tehran and Kermanshah, launching the project with the remaining capital. We demonstrate that taking the case to court does not result in a favorable outcome for the players.","PeriodicalId":51913,"journal":{"name":"Iranian Journal of Management Studies","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":1.4,"publicationDate":"2021-09-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42086727","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Catastrophic events are rare, and the shortage of data weakens the inference of using probability theory. Uncertainty theory, on the other hand, is a reliable alternative to model these kinds of indeterminacies. We model the problem of pricing catastrophe bonds as an uncertain optimization problem where the maximization of the cedent insurance company’s profit is constrained to the uncertain measure of ruin defined for the investors. Consequently, we balance the concerns of profitability and reasonable protection for the investors and the cedent of the bond, respectively. The solution of the optimization problem is considered as the spread over the LIBOR, which effectively determines the price of the bond. The results depicted the practicality of the modeling, especially the uncertainty theory, in pricing catastrophe bonds. Finally, the basic part of the methodology, on calculating the ruin index, is implemented on a real-world problem, and the results are compared with those obtained using probability theory.","PeriodicalId":51913,"journal":{"name":"Iranian Journal of Management Studies","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":1.4,"publicationDate":"2021-09-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48938473","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Proposed criteria based on fuzzy DEMATEL technique in an uncertain environment are assessed to determine the relation among all of the criteria. Moreover, ISM method is used to level the proposed criteria which are effective in the process of selecting the project or not. The results obtained from the proposed method demonstrates that profit, cost, soil, atmosphere, energy, waste and risk criteria are the most effective ones in selecting project portfolio, especially in construction project selection. Furthermore, environmental issues play an important role in the selection of project portfolio while social issues are not as much significant as others. Technical requirement, water, security and public utility are less effective criteria in selecting project portfolio. Also, Biodiversity, social integration and responsibility criteia are the most effected criteria in selecting project portfolio.","PeriodicalId":51913,"journal":{"name":"Iranian Journal of Management Studies","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":1.4,"publicationDate":"2021-09-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46152585","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This article aims to explore successful drivers of crowdsourcing platforms by considering the role of both main sides, meaning crowd and crowdsourcer. The current study develops a marketing-crowdsourcing model and exploring the dynamic association between identifying variables. In the proposed model, different scenarios were considered to explore the effective mechanism for reinforcing crowd/ crowdsourcer to participate in the crowdsourcing of marketing activities. By using system dynamics relationships, casual loops, and stock and flow diagrams, this study proposes a framework for crowdsourcing of marketing activities.","PeriodicalId":51913,"journal":{"name":"Iranian Journal of Management Studies","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":1.4,"publicationDate":"2021-08-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"49154103","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Particularly, the literature neglects the benefits of a brand logo that can have in this context. Thus, this paper outlines a framework that contributes to a greater understanding of brand logo benefits in higher education sector and extends the framework of previous studies by accounting for continuance commitment and word of mouth. We analyzed our model on a sample of 340 undergraduate students from public universities in Tehran. The results indicate that the ideal self-image congruence and the brand logo benefit have a positive significant impact on commitment and word of mouth. In addition, the self-image congruence directly influences the brand logo benefit and word of mouth, and indirectly influences commitment.","PeriodicalId":51913,"journal":{"name":"Iranian Journal of Management Studies","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":1.4,"publicationDate":"2021-08-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45743187","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Variations in inputs or outputs of any DMU can change the efficiency classification of that DMU as well as other DMUs, i.e. an efficient DMU can become inefficient and vice versa. This study considers the largest performance stability region for an extreme efficient DMU whose data can be changed in all directions of input/output space, including both directions of improving the situation and worsening the situation such that under these changes the efficiency classification of all extreme DMUs will be preserved. Moreover, we find the largest symmetric cell to the center of the extreme efficient DMU under evaluation, leading to an efficiency stability radius. Also, data changes are only applied for the extreme efficient DMU and the data for the other DMUs are assumed fixed. This stability region is determined by the concept of defining hyperplanes of production possibility set (PPS) of VRS technology and the corresponding half-spaces. The suggested method is illustrated using real-world data.","PeriodicalId":51913,"journal":{"name":"Iranian Journal of Management Studies","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":1.4,"publicationDate":"2021-08-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45203134","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Despite the variety of conceptualization of employee voice in different management disciplines, there is no evidence on different voice mechanisms as an integrated concept. The research method is a systematic review of articles based on the Wetten framework in the 1970-2019 time efficiency of employee voices in different management areas. This study develops an innovative auxiliary system for automatic labeling of numerical data by providing a hybrid clustering algorithm of K-means and partition around medoids (PAM) methods to identify organizational productive employees and to divide them into different productivity levels. The model is evaluated by calculating the differences between actual and labeled values (93% labeling accuracy) and an innovative criterion for image processing of the final clusters using the singular value decomposition (SVD) algorithm. Ultimately, the results of the algorithm determine four labels of middle and good productive employees who leave the organization and excellent and weak productive employees who stay in the organization. According to each cluster, policies are adopted for their retaining, productivity improvement, replacement.","PeriodicalId":51913,"journal":{"name":"Iranian Journal of Management Studies","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":1.4,"publicationDate":"2021-08-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46454127","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
