Teachers have one of the most important jobs in the world. They fill in the shoes of too many different professions like a parent, disciplinarian, judge, administrator, academic experts, mentor, and more, and probably all-time. It’s no secret that our teachers get so many things done that it’s no wonder that they’ve become experts in multitasking. This study evaluates the imbalances and opportunities of multitasking of 60 teachers handled general education and major subject. Purposive surveys a descriptive quantitative and qualitative method was applied survey and interviews will be conducted; to rationalize the scope of work, were employed as research instruments to collect responses on imbalances and opportunities of multitasking. The research findings showed the majority of teachers strongly agreed with the opportunities of multitasking in terms of Integration of Diverse Work, and imparting knowledge to co-instructor. It further revealed that most of the respondents that practice multitasks were men. To divert the emphasis on the imbalances of multitasking, the administration should be able to motivate instructor in terms of giving honoraria to those who extend their working hours and acknowledging them also during the ceremonial events.","PeriodicalId":517735,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Education and Academic Settings","volume":"16 4","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140753979","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The researchers collected data from 100 participants using non-probability sampling method called purposive sampling. They used statistical analysis techniques such as weighted mean, standard deviation, t-test for independent samples, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson’s r to analyze the data. Here are the key findings of the study: 1. Most of the teachers in the sample were female, married, and aged between 30 years and below or 41-50 years old. They mostly held bachelor’s degrees and had 26 years or more of teaching experience. 2. On average, the management functions of elementary school principals were moderately affected by communication, leadership styles, and decision-making processes. 3. The variables of age, gender, civil status, educational attainment, and length of service did not significantly mediate the assessment of elementary school teachers regarding the extent of elementary school principals’ management functions in terms of communication, leadership styles, and decision-making processes. 4. The group of teachers who assessed the extent of factors affecting elementary school principals’ management functions in Patikul district, Ministry of Basic, Higher, and Technical Education in Sulu, found that decision-making was of moderate extent. This group of teachers also assessed communication and leadership styles as moderate extent. 5. The study supports Henri Fayol’s administrative management theory, which emphasizes the importance of proper planning, organizing, commanding, coordinating, and controlling in the management functions of a principal in an educational setting.","PeriodicalId":517735,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Education and Academic Settings","volume":"139 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140752545","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study found that other variables, such as gender, age, civil status, and length of service, did not influence how teachers assessed the extent of workplace relationships. The study also found that the group of teachers who perceived workplace collaboration as very good likely had the same overall job satisfaction. The purpose of this study was to identify management techniques for converting non-Chavacano students to the Chavacano language of instruction. In the study, forty educators working in Zamboanga City's kindergarten, first, second, and third grades participated. In order to identify the management strategies for transferring non-Chavacano students to Chavacano medium instruction, this study used a descriptive-quantitative approach. The results of the study demonstrated the need for distinct strategic management when transferring non-Chavacano pupils to a Chavacano language of instruction. They replied that the best way to address this issue and find a solution is to identify efficient management techniques that meet the requirements of the students. The purpose of this study is to map out the suggested solution that educators have provided in order to develop more effective management techniques for transferring Chavacano language proficiency to nonChavacano pupils. ","PeriodicalId":517735,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Education and Academic Settings","volume":"2 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140412823","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To maximize their efficacy, grade 1 teachers might encounter particular difficulties when implementing these tactics into their lesson plans. In light of this, the goal of this study is to determine the difficulties that Grade 1 instructors encounter when instructing vocabulary and investigate the possibility of using computer-aided reading procedures to help with these difficulties. The primary goal of the qualitative research for this study was to interview grade 1 teachers about their experiences and anecdotes. Six professional teachers—four from private and four from public schools— participated in the study's interviews. According to the results, the most challenges that first-grade teachers encounter when trying to expand their students' vocabulary include the transition from their native tongue to English, word pronunciation and spelling mistakes, and students' reluctance to learn new vocabulary. The twenty experienced educators use a range of techniques to help students with their vocabulary. These include using the Marungko Method in a multimedia presentation to introduce letter names and sounds, watching phonics and phonemic movies, pronouncing words using YouTube videos and audio-visual presentations, interactive slides, digital flashcards, recordings of the alphabet, and rereading while playing interactive language games to help with retention. The study's outcomes will contribute to the existing literature on vocabulary instruction and computer-aided learning, highlighting the potential of technology in addressing the challenges faced by Grade 1 teachers. ","PeriodicalId":517735,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Education and Academic Settings","volume":"29 8","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140412998","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The majority of schools have adopted the Modular Distance Learning modality, which allows students to study at their own pace. Thus, this study looks into the compliance, interests, and attitudes of 100 Senior High students who participated in modular remote learning. A survey and deductive topic analysis were used as research tools. In order to gather information about their study habits, interest, attitudes, and compliance with the learning modules, they were requested to complete an original survey questionnaire. The study's conclusions demonstrated that the modules' lessons' comprehension, complexity, and presentation all work to maintain respondents' attention. The learners' environment and parental support allow them to keep a positive outlook throughout the process.  The students complied with requirements, completing assignments with less oversight and even forgoing sleep when necessary to do some assignments right away. The findings showed that rather than whining, students always tried their hardest to complete their assignments. This required them to adapt to a completely different style of learning. Every student is a unique individual with unique skills and interests, and our goal is to support each learner's independence and ability to think for themselves. This keeps parents informed about their children's endeavors and can offer resources, support, and encouragement. The government may help students by stepping up and virtualizing already-existing programs, as well as by enlisting the help of other organizations to organize joint activities that will enhance the current mode. This study is crucial because it will act as a foundation for future enhancements to the current curricula at the schools and policies on the use of modular distant learning. ","PeriodicalId":517735,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Education and Academic Settings","volume":"22 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140415899","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
