Therefore, it becomes vital to find out a method of evaluation of individual fitness level and to design a targeted exercise programme,ie SSE.. Fallsin the elderly are common and associated with major morbidity and mortality. Fall in the elderly is considered as a geriatric syndrome ,decreased physical functioning and autonomy and is associated with other geriatric syndromes. Objective To find the effectiveness of square stepping exercise and strength and balance to reduce the risk of falls among elderly people. Method 30elderly subjects are selected from the population who fulfill inclusion and exclusion criteria . These subjects randomly divide in to two groups[15 each Group ]. ABC Scale and Tinneti performance oriented mobility assessment score checked as pre and post test. The SSE group participate sessions 5 days in a week ,each session comprise 15 minutes of warm-up activities such as stretching and free walking ,30 minutes of SSE and 15 minutes of cool-down activities. Each step pattern repeat 4–10 times. The group B performs 30 minute of strengthening and balance exercise instead of SSE. Result and Discussion SSE is as equally effective as SB training in improving lower-extremity functional fitness. SSE may also be recommended for older adults, due to its low cost and effectiveness. The findings suggest that SSE is safe and acceptable, and it improves the functional fitness of the lower extremities, which is a fall risk factor, in older adults. Conclusion low-cost and feasible alternative to practice physical activity with good impact on improvement of functional mobility and maintenance of mood states, preventing depressive symptoms In older people and reduce the risk of fall in elderly.","PeriodicalId":517644,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Innovative Science and Research Technology (IJISRT)","volume":"18 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141799135","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study aims to document our experience as a tertiary care hospital regarding the use of the same. 250 patients were considered in a prospective observational study, subsequently recording the intraoperative findings and postoperative complications based on G10 scoring put forward by the WSES based on the Sugrue study. They were classified as easy, moderate, difficult, and extremely difficult. The mean operative time was 48.58 min (range 30 to 190). The conversion rate was 2%. A p value of <0.0001 shows G10 scoring is significantly related to open conversion. Overall, 19 (7.60%) patients were found to have a difficult or extreme degree of operative difficulty as judged by a G10 score of 5 or greater. A significant relationship was found with respect to bile duct injury, biliary fistula, vessel injury, abscess formation, and readmission in view of G10-based scoring difficulty. Validation and widespread adaptation may provide a standard for understanding and improving care and enable more standardization in global comparisons of care for cholecystectomy. This study is a single institution experience validating the significance of intraoperative scoring for biliary disease management.","PeriodicalId":517644,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Innovative Science and Research Technology (IJISRT)","volume":"27 21","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141800562","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Recent studies have revealed that the conventional mitigation techniques like zoning, demilitarization, firewalls, company’s policies to mention but a few are no longer enough to match the sophisticated intelligence being deployed by attackers hence the urgent need for the adoption of artificial intelligent based embedded security solution model. Furthermore, conventional IT security solutions cannot be deployed directly in process controllers given the real time availability requirement of industrial control systems. This has limited the security solutions to firewalls, network segmentation and some laid down policies which the control system operators are not expected to violate. This study will ultimately help deliver algorithms that will be implemented in industrial field device controllers making them resilient to cyber-attacks whose consequences have far reaching implications. With regards to the methodology of the work, four sets of data were collected from the test bed. The first data, Data_1, shown in appendix D is the plant’s response to the existing PID algorithm. This was done by taking the temperatures of the plant at interval of 3 seconds after loading the controller with the existing (insecure) PID algorithm shown in appendix A. A total of 100 samples were taken. From the methodology employed, it was discovered that it is seen that the existing PID algorithm was able to achieve the control objective of maintaining the temperature of the process plant within the temperature range of 38 o C and 43 o C with 40 o C as the optimal or ideal performance. From table I in appendix I, the mean steady state error (MSSE) of the existing PID algorithm considering the 27th to 101th temperature data is 0.062631579 which is approximately 0.06. It means the accuracy of the existing PID algorithm is ((40 – 0.06)/40) ∗ 100 = 99. 85 %. This showed that the existing PID control algorithm’s performance is acceptable under normal condition since the minimum control accuracy required to achieve the control objective in the considered process plant is (40 – (3-2)/2)/40) ∗ 100 = 98. 75 %.","PeriodicalId":517644,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Innovative Science and Research Technology (IJISRT)","volume":"36 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141798772","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim of this research is to analyse the influence of social representations of exhaust fumes, developed among motorbike taxi drivers, on the evolution of air pollution in Cotonou. The research methodology is based on a literature review, 50 individual interviews, 10 focus groups with motorbike taxi drivers (Zémidjan) at a number of parking sites (Tokpa car park, Marina station, Kouhounou esplanade, Saint Michel station) and 25 questionnaires administered to institutional stakeholders. The sample values were retained once the empirical saturation point had been reached (Pourtois and Desmet, 1997). At the end of the research, it emerges firstly that air pollution is subject to a diversity of perceptions developed by the players involved. Secondly, understanding of the risks associated with pollution changes when we move from drivers to institutional players. Finally, variables such as the level of education of the motorbike taxi driver and the feeling of being used to exhaust fumes that he expresses, influence air pollution in Cotonou.","PeriodicalId":517644,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Innovative Science and Research Technology (IJISRT)","volume":"15 8","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141801481","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
