The main goal of the study is to systematize the main classifications and models of political opposition in the scientific literature and to propose an author's definition of opposition. The ideas of leading scholars of political opposition such as Robert are subjected to analysis and interpretation. Dahl, Gita Ionesco and Isabel de Madariaga, Leonard Shapiro and Rudolf Tökes. Special attention is paid to the different models and types of opposition, as well as to the possible criteria for the classification of the political opposition. Based on the performed analysis, the author makes basic conclusions and generalizations related to the need for future theoretical analyzes and empirical studies of the political opposition.","PeriodicalId":51540,"journal":{"name":"Research Papers in Education","volume":"14 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":2.7,"publicationDate":"2023-08-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"87279800","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":3,"RegionCategory":"教育学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The reasons for the establishment of the Banking Union, its nature and structure are explored through applying the system analysis. The main pillars of the Banking Union, their degree of completion, the bodies responsible for the performance of their main functions and the effects sought from their functioning are presented. The main challenges facing the Banking Union, the priority areas for development and the expected benefits of completing its main elements with a view to achieving a stronger Economic and Monetary Union in Europe are outlined.","PeriodicalId":51540,"journal":{"name":"Research Papers in Education","volume":"69 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":2.7,"publicationDate":"2023-08-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86458815","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":3,"RegionCategory":"教育学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The problem of physical activity and emotions is particularly relevant after the global pandemic in 2020 and 2021. The aim of our study is to assess the emotional intelligence (EI) of students and its predictive nature on physical activity behavior (PA) among students. 190 college students from UNWE were studied. Emotionally aware students are found to be more physically active, and participating in FA can be an effective way to improve their physical, psychological and emotional health.","PeriodicalId":51540,"journal":{"name":"Research Papers in Education","volume":"82 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":2.7,"publicationDate":"2023-08-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90926923","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":3,"RegionCategory":"教育学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Realizing the potential of this impressive purchasing power determines the direction of building new concepts in the procurement process. A strategic understanding of procurement hat shifts the focus from “how” we buy to “what” we buy is outlining. Innovative procurement is one aspect of the strategic concept for this peculiar relationship between the public and private sectors. Pre-commercial procurement as an approach to purchase innovative solutions in response to identified needs of the public sector adds value not only in terms of buyers, but also to achieve economic growth by creating competition in the market, accelerated commercialization of innovative solutions, improvement of cooperation between market entities, incl. cross-border etc.","PeriodicalId":51540,"journal":{"name":"Research Papers in Education","volume":"56 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":2.7,"publicationDate":"2023-08-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81164965","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":3,"RegionCategory":"教育学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For this purpose, a complex criterion was compiled and applied, according to which five generalized stages in the development of labor in a historical perspective are distinguished. Transformations in labor at each stage are specified and tied to accompanying significant changes in the entire system of production factors, in the prevailing type and sectoral structure of the economy. Generally accepted methods and approaches are applied in the research, including the historical and logical approach, the principles and means of economic analysis and synthesis, the deductive and inductive method, the comparative analysis.","PeriodicalId":51540,"journal":{"name":"Research Papers in Education","volume":"527 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":2.7,"publicationDate":"2023-08-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"80144536","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":3,"RegionCategory":"教育学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The paper weaves together Lefebvre’s and Marcuse’s theoretical insights to explore the generation of (time-)spaces in contemporary societies, focussing on higher education and specifically on the lived experiences of postgraduate researchers. The insistence that welfare states, turned into workfare states, treat the symptoms through drugs and sedation, shows the reach of consumption and distribution as a means to address the problems caused by production. Against this backdrop, the paper draws on empirical data from a recent study undertaken by the authors examining the challenges to mental and physical health that postgraduate study posed at a university in the English Midlands. The obliteration of the social, cultural and political determinants of this malaise is expedient to place the onus of corrective measures on the individual through a series of self-help strategies, which again, privatise the atomised self to its lowest common denominator: the cerebral, emotional self. If the body becomes sick in industrialisation, is it any wonder the mind becomes sick in cognitive capitalism?","PeriodicalId":51540,"journal":{"name":"Research Papers in Education","volume":"38 1","pages":"743 - 762"},"PeriodicalIF":2.7,"publicationDate":"2023-07-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43414222","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":3,"RegionCategory":"教育学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
