{"title":"Impact of the US Indo-Pacific Strategy on China-India Economic Cooperation","authors":"Liuting Song","doi":"10.62051/gnk2w546","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.62051/gnk2w546","url":null,"abstract":"India has grown to be a significant component of the US Indo-Pacific strategic layout in South Asia because of its unique geographic location, political and economic power, and other factors. Through collaborative efforts within the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF), the US and India have fostered project cooperation by aligning policy dispositions to address shared interests and contain China. Analysis of the economic and trade interactions between China and India suggests a declining trend in their cooperation from many perspective. In a strategic move, India opted out of the China-led Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement in 2019 to prioritize economic and trade relations in accordance with its strategic objectives. In addition, India got supports and advancements in high-tech industries through the US Indo-Pacific strategy, consequently reducing collaboration with China in this sector. Furthermore, the US and India have taken measures to diversify supply chains and explore alternative trade routes, steering away from China and promoting regional industrial transfers. This shift has prompted India to intensify its focus on developing high-tech industries to lessen its dependence on China's industrial chain supply. These initiatives have also contributed to the formation of an internal trade network within the IPEF, disrupting traditional trade exchanges between China and India. However, the economic cooperation between the US and India falls short of reaching its full potential because of differences in national interests, history, culture, and other factors. Consequently, the impact of China-India economic relations is not catastrophic, even in the face of heightened US trade restrictions on China that have compelled India to make strategic decisions.","PeriodicalId":512428,"journal":{"name":"Transactions on Social Science, Education and Humanities Research","volume":"119 15","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141667710","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Additionally, it explores whether the alleviation of financing constraints plays an intermediary effect in this pathway. The findings reveal that: (1) The development of supply chain finance can enhance the innovation capability of SMEs, and its significance level is correlated with the nature of the enterprise's equity; (2) Most SMEs face financing difficulties, and implementing supply chain finance can effectively alleviate these financing constraints. Furthermore, compared to state-owned enterprises, this alleviation effect is more pronounced for non-state-owned enterprises; (3) There exists a significant intermediary effect of financing constraints, indicating that supply chain finance can ease financing constraints, thereby facilitating the improvement of enterprise innovation capabilities. Finally, based on the research findings, this paper presents relevant recommendations from the perspectives of the government, financial institutions, and SMEs.","PeriodicalId":512428,"journal":{"name":"Transactions on Social Science, Education and Humanities Research","volume":" 33","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141669718","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The number of intra-marital tort claims not predicated on divorce has increased in judicial practice. However, China currently only has a compensation system for damages arising from divorce, which is not conducive to the protection of the legitimate rights and interests of the parties involved. With the development of the economy, the liberalization of ideas, the collision of Chinese and Western legal thoughts, and the independent status of marital economics, the establishment of an intra-marital tort system has become possible. Intra-marital tort litigation is not predicated on the termination of marriage, but is established to protect the victim, punish the at-fault party, and prevent the occurrence of tortious acts. The elements of such litigation should have stricter requirements than general torts.","PeriodicalId":512428,"journal":{"name":"Transactions on Social Science, Education and Humanities Research","volume":"3 12","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141667990","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As the \"silver-haired group\" grows, so does the demand for and attention to community elderly care services. The introduction of digital governance offers new opportunities in this field, yet it presents significant challenges. The integration of intelligent technology in community elderly care, facilitated by digital advancements, enhances service efficiency and quality, enabling more convenient and personalized care for the elderly. However, the implementation faces specific challenges: digital anomalies where technology usage exceeds conventional norms, a digital divide marked by the elderly's limited ability to utilize new intelligent devices and services, and insufficient professional training for caregivers. These issues complicate the promotion of digital governance in elderly care services. Addressing these problems involves several strategic measures: refining systems to bridge the digital divide, enhancing the training and familiarity of digital technologies among the elderly, and improving caregiver professionalism. Additionally, establishing robust data security management and privacy protection mechanisms, along with advancing the legal framework surrounding eldercare, are crucial. Moreover, it is vital to provide more emotional care, enhance the elderly's sense of belonging, and meet their emotional needs to support the effective integration of digital governance into community elderly care services.","PeriodicalId":512428,"journal":{"name":"Transactions on Social Science, Education and Humanities Research","volume":"112 30","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141668167","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
