It is assumed that: 1) the low waterflood coverage coefficient is associated with artificial fracturing at the initial stage of development which led to a change in the type of reservoir from primary pore to porous-fractured; 2) a decrease in the displacement coverage coefficient is associated with the permeability heterogeneity of the object; 3) swelling of clay particles under the influence of injected fresh water led to a decrease in the displacement coefficient. An analysis of the development of the facility shows that without the use of new effective technological solutions for involving in the development of capillary-pinched oil reserves of the porous-fractured reservoir of the BP8 object, the final technological oil recovery factor will not exceed 0.240 instead of the approved 0.425. Mullabaev","doi":"10.17122/ntj-oil-2024-3-159-173","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.17122/ntj-oil-2024-3-159-173","url":null,"abstract":"As of 2015, there were more than 200 permanent and variable gravity sections of crude oil and petroleum product pipelines in the pipeline system of PJSC Transneft, the natural monopoly for pipeline transportation of crude oil and petroleum products in the Russian Federation. The operation of gravity sections in oil pipelines in Russia is a very important safety and environmental issue, and Russian oil transportation companies are constantly working on improving approaches to monitor and control pipeline operation modes. When these sections occur, special attention is given to determining the geometric capacity of the pipeline section, as pumping is done in batches and commercial pumping product remains in the gravity section during periodic shutdowns. Due to the limited technical equipment of these sections and the likely illegal unrecorded product withdrawals in these pipeline sections, the most demanding approach is to determine the fill factor of the pipe body. The fill factor is influenced by many factors, including the presence of gas phase and water accumulations, correct geometry of the pipe body and other factors. Given the given initial data, it can be seen that the solution to the problem of determining the filling level of a stopped oil pipeline is reduced to the construction of a multifactor model. For accurate determination, in addition to the model, there is a need for relevant software, an algorithm for solving the problem ofcalculating the filling factor. Correspondingly, operating organisations need a system for accounting and control of the product filling level at these sections at the level of improvement of the state system for ensuring unity of measurements and metrological support of accounting for the long-distance pipeline transport of oil and oil products - a strategic resource, the revenues from the sale of which account for about 23 % of the budgetary system of the Russian Federation.The calculation created and proposed by the authors is divided into stages in which the initial data is sequentially collected, the voltages on the capacitors are calculated, the data is processed using the interpolation method, an image is constructed using the Newton-Gauss method, and the filling factor is calculated with various multiphase pumping products. The calculation is made based on voltage readings from sensors located orthogonally to the axis of the pipe body. Using the approximation method and the Newton-Gauss method, you can get rid of the «noise» and level the phase boundary. When tested and implemented at pipeline pumping facilities, it will be possible to clarify the existing dependences of the influence of gas phase friction on the fluid flow rate, and, therefore, evaluate the effect on the filling factor. Reservoir damage leads to a reduction in the oil and gas content of reservoirs and in the economic efficiency of operation. In this regard, it is important to understand and prevent formation damage based on experimental and analytical methods, the applicationof which will minimize damage to the oil and gas bearing reservoir. The review considers anthropogenic processes that cause damage to oil and gas reservoir when CO2 is injected by various methods to enhance oil recovery. The processes of interaction of CO2 with formation rock are considered in detail. The main geochemical transformations of rock minerals are given, which lead to changes in the structure of pore space, permeability and porosity, decrease of geomechanical properties. It is shown that the implementation of CCS in the oil and gas sector has significant economic and environmental importance, as it allows not only to reduce the large-scale greenhouse gas emissions of this industry but also to increase the oil recovery factor through the injection of captured CO2 into depleted reservoirs. An analysis of the cost chain of various stages of the CO2 capture, transportation, and storage process is carried out, and the most costly elements are identified. The economic aspects of using Carbon Capture, Use, and Storage (CCUS) Technology for enhanced oil recovery are considered, and the need for government subsidies to ensure the commercial attractiveness of such projects under low CO2 emission prices is justified. The global experience of using economic instruments (carbon taxation, tax incentives, grants) to stimulate CCS projects in various industrial sectors is investigated. Significant differences in the approaches of leading countries compared to Russia are revealed. Pilot initiatives of the largest Russian oil and gas companies for the implementation of CCS technologies are analyzed. Such a filler is a repeating spatial structure consisting of pyramids or tetrahedrons.The analysis of references concerning such a construction is carried out. As a result of the analysis, it was revealed that the three-layer panel with a truss filler found its application in aviation and rocket engineering, and all studies were carried out for structures with thickness not exceeding 150 mm, and the applied load was evenly distributed over all surfaces.To research the stress-strain state of the tank structure, two numerical models were created in the SCAD Office software package. All active loads are collected. The calculation was carried out for tank structures, in the inter-wall space of which pyramids and tetrahedrons were located.The technology used relates to cross-cutting digital, namely digital design and modeling, which is currently included in the concept of technological development of our country.The search for the optimal inclination angle of the rods was carried out in the range from 40° to 60°. Five calculations were performed for each placeholder in the corresponding ranges.As a result of geometric parameters dependencies researches of the double-walled tank wall, the inclination optimal angles values of the pyramidal and tetradrael rods fillers for the wall of a tank of 50000 m3volume were obtained. Helium has never before been the object of detailed study during gathering and treatment, but today helium is an important resource that is used in many fields: military industry, medicine, shipbuilding, laser technology, space technology. The high demand for the component of the extracted gas has created requirements for the creation of a technology for separating it from gas. In addition, helium is a «cold» gas due to the weak interaction of its molecules, so it is difficult to model phase equilibrium at extremely low temperatures. As a result, improving the simulation of condensation of a helium mixture is undoubtedly an urgent task of the industry today. The purpose of the study is to increase the accuracy of calculating the thermodynamic properties of helium based on one of the modifications of the Peng-Robinson equation of state for thermobaric conditions corresponding to helium liquefaction processes.As the methods used in this work, a software module for calculating the selection of the Peneloux correction in the Java programming language was implemented. The results are tested on known experimental data, as well as a specialized software product for calculating the thermodynamic properties of fluids.The features of calculating the superconductivity coefficient of helium based on the cubic equation of state are presented. The optimal range of the Peneloux correction for the Peng-Robinson equation of state has been found, as well as an approximation formula that allows us to find the correction in the low temperature region. The results obtained will allow us to calculate the thermodynamic properties of helium with high accuracy. The inefficient use of natural gas can be reduced by energy saving measures implementation.Energy saving issues are important not only for Gazprom PJSC, but also for the country's economy as a whole. The highest priority of the «Energy Strategy of Russia for the Period up to 2035» and «The Concept of Energy Saving and Energy Efficiency Improvement of Gazprom PJSC» is the maximal realization of all available energy saving potential.Saving of energy resources can be achieved by organization of their efficient con-sumption, the use of innovative energy-saving technologies and equipment, reduction of losses and gas consumption for the own needs of compressor stations.The article presents the results of the analysis of the parameters of natural gas pumping through the Chelyabinsk – Petrovsk main gas pipeline on the 112–292 km section operated by Gazprom Transgaz Ufa LLC.It has been established that the monthly unevenness of the gas supply through the gas pipeline under consideration varies from 0.062 to 0.195. To substantiate the effectiveness of using this arrangement, planning was carried out to conduct research on rational spiral fins of mechanical cleaning devices and select the geometric dimensions of the simulation. Platonov","doi":"10.17122/ntj-oil-2024-1-83-93","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.17122/ntj-oil-2024-1-83-93","url":null,"abstract":"The paper presents the results of a study of the influence of the wall diameter of a vertical cylindrical steel tank designed for storing petroleum products on its stiffness characteristics and the applicability (for the manu-facture of this wall) of the spiral-winding metod, according to which the tank wall is made of rolled sheet metal, during the unwinding of which a wall is formed in the form of a spiral, ad-jacent turns of which are continuously connected by a welded seam, forming a sealed shell.To solve the problem, a finite element analysis of the tank wall was performed, within which the wind load was taken as the calculated one, due to which the greatest lateral deformations of the tank wall during its construction are possible, which can cause disruption of the technological process of its construction using spiral-winding method.The paper considers tank wall solutions of different diameters (in the range from 10 to 65 m), which have the smallest wall thicknesses adopted in accordance with the recommendations from the Russian standard.Modeling of the tank wall included the preparation of geometric and calculation models. The geometric model is presented in the form of an axisymmetric cylindrical shell, on the outside of which flat ribs are placed at a constant pitch along the shell axis, giving it additional stiffness. The calculation model includes a geometric model of the wall, to which a wind load is applied from the outside, the pressure from which on the tank wall is constant along its height; it is maximum under normal action and decreases to zero under tangential action.
