Research is conducted by referring to various sources of writing (literary research), and then formulating with deductive and inductive reasoning (thinking). The four criteria for a successful life (luck, win), namely faith, good deeds, correctness, and patience. These four criteria constitute a unified whole, and should not be broken down or reduced. The word 'sholih' means 'whole' (not broken apart) or 'complete', which is also usually translated as 'good'. Goodness due to wholeness and completeness. Wholeness and completeness in the concept of \"Amal Sholih\" include amal imaniah (faithful action), amal ilmiah (scientific action), amal karimah (noble action), amal rahmah (beloved action), amal barakah (better action), amal salamah (safe action), and amal kamilah (complete action). Faithful action is the action that must be based on faith, namely the six pillars of faith. Scientific action is an action that contains knowledge. Amal karimah is human deeds that show good deeds. Beloved action is the action that reflects rahmah (compassion, love), which arises from a clean conscience. Better action is a human action that provides benefits and added value (added goodness) to others and oneself. Safe action is the act of human beings who are safe and save themselves and others in this world and the hereafter. Complete action is the human action that fulfills 100% of the target.","PeriodicalId":509894,"journal":{"name":"Multicultural Islamic Education Review","volume":"15 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139185182","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The significance of this subject lies in the fact that the examination of multicultural education is mostly focused on accounts of educational reform methods and movements, with very little exploration of the theoretical underpinnings and conceptual elements, particularly in relation to the philosophical foundations of multicultural education. This report compiles data from many literary sources, employing a qualitative analysis approach. This study scrutinizes the comparative analysis of multicultural education through the lens of Buddhism and Islam, utilizing a conceptual framework that emphasizes the investigation of ontology, epistemology, and axiology as key variables for comparison. The study revealed that there exist conceptual distinctions in the context of multiculturalism when comparing Buddhism and Islam. Divergences arise due to the distinct historical foundations of Islam and Buddhism. However, it is essential to note that there exist inherent similarities in the domains of ontology, epistemology, and axiology, thus indicating a convergence between Islam and Buddhism in the context of developing a multicultural framework for education. Islamic philosophy and Buddhist philosophy offer a solid foundation for the practical application of multicultural education.","PeriodicalId":509894,"journal":{"name":"Multicultural Islamic Education Review","volume":"44 12","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139185237","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research presents solutions to various problems of Muslims in Indonesia today, especially the problem of the dry dimension of spirituality in their religion. The type of research used is library research. This research obtains information data by placing existing facilities in the library such as books, magazines, documents, records of historical stories or pure literature research related to the object of research. The results of this study explain that spirituality is the solution to achieving peace education. Spirituality is not a heresy in religion, but the spirit of religion itself. Religion is accompanied by an appreciation of spirituality that will get the essence of religion in the form of love for God and others. To approach the Khalik and also with his fellow beings, it is not enough just to go through the formalities. A spiritual approach full of values of love and compassion, ikhlas and ridlo will be more effective in arriving at justice and the Creator. On that basis, it is necessary to review the position and role of religion in human life.","PeriodicalId":509894,"journal":{"name":"Multicultural Islamic Education Review","volume":"128 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139336867","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research paper investigates the rights and status of widows within the framework of Islamic education in the context of Bangladesh using qualitative methods. It included the Qur’an, Hadith, and various forms of research. Islam has given them a detailed discussion of their rights and dignity just like any other woman. Widows often face unique challenges and social stigmatization in various societies, and this study focuses on understanding their rights and status as prescribed by Islamic teachings and the extent to which these teachings are implemented within the realm of Islamic education. Bangladesh government has fixed some allowance for them which is very little. No steps have been taken to increase employment to make them economically prosperous.
