This study delves into the intricate interplay of social media and electronic communication (E-communication) patterns within the context of indigenous youth in Sri Lanka. As globalization and technological advancements continue to reshape traditional sociocultural landscapes, indigenous communities find themselves navigating an evolving digital terrain. this study aims to elucidate the patterns of engagement among this demographic, focusing on their preferences and behaviors in the digital realm. This paper examines the published literature to learn about how Indigenous youth in Sri Lanka use digital technologies and social media, as well as the positive and negative effects this has on their lives. This quantitative study on Sri Lanka's indigenous youth employed simple random sampling and an online questionnaire survey with 110 respondents, revealing insights into their social media and electronic communication behaviors, and was conducted using a descriptive research design and a sample of 36 respondents. The research findings suggest that even though the indigenous youth have less access to social media and digital technology, there are many ways social media affects their daily activities. growing the population and other advancements have increased the usage of social media and other devices among the youth indigenous population in Sri Lanka. Technology certainly affects human life and plays a role in the life of the wider community, especially the role of technology in the field of education. By supporting the learning process and increasing student interest, one of them is by providing interesting learning media. As with the Quizwhizzer app, it's a game-based educational app. The purpose of this study is to determine the planning and implementation of the Quizwhizzer application in social studies subjects at SMP Negeri 28 Pontianak City, and to find out the results of the application of the Quizwhizzer application in social studies subjects at SMP Negeri 28 Pontianak City. To achieve this goal, this research is conducted using qualitative research type with case study type. Data collection procedures are carried out using observation, interview and documentation methods. In addition, to find out the causes of students experiencing academic procrastination. The purpose of the study was so that the results of this study can be used as a reference to find solutions to the problems experienced by students. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The population in this study were students of SMP Negeri 11 Yogyakarta class VIII as many as 136 students. The methods used are questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The instrument validity technique uses logical validity carried out by material experts and empirical validity with a significant level of 5%. Test the reliability of the instrument using Cronbach's Alpha formula and determine the category of procrastination using SPSS 28.0. Qualitative data analysis uses descriptive qualitative, including data reduction, data presentation, and verification. Test the validity of the data in this study including the credibility test using triangulation techniques. The results showed that there were 21 students in the high category, 69 students in the medium category, and 10 students in the low category. This research aims to answer questions about what is meant by hedonism, why many students live a hedonistic lifestyle and what its impacts are and how to prevent the emergence of these hedonistic traits. The method in this research uses a qualitative method which uses observation method data from YouTube and 2 articles. The results of this research found that the causes of a person's hedonic behavior are internal and external factors, and the environment in these internal factors is influenced by dissatisfaction with what he has and external factors are caused by open access to information. Or globalization so that the habits of outsiders who tend to be hedonistic are often imitated by students. Environmental factors are influenced by pressure from friendships which causes students to need validation from other people. These factors have a negative impact, such as: Consumerism, selfishness, changes in students' attitudes and way of thinking from academic to apathetic, tending to prioritize worldly things and not considering the negative impact on lecture activities.
