This is an integrative review carried out during the first half of 2016, and data collection was performed from the following databases: Scientific Electronic Library Online (Scielo) and journals in the field of education. The results obtained were tabulated and the main results of each study included were scored. In this sense, it is possible to consider that THE has been gaining space in the health area because it has many advantages. The consolidation of PHE, the EaD has been gaining great strength in recent years, being widely used in the health area due to meeting the needs of these areas. Materials and methods: the approach of the work was done through a clinical-problem case study. Scientific articles were searched to effectively respond to the case study. Results and discussion: the documentary analysis allowed the elaboration of seven categories that deal with renal failure, which responded appropriately to the clinical case. Results: nursing care for renal transplant patients involves technical and psychosocial aspects, requiring knowledge and experience in the application of the nursing process and systematization of nursing care. The research involved the phytochemical analysis of the plant, highlighting the presence of compounds such as alkaloids, flavonoids, and tannins, indicative of antioxidant activity. Baccharis dracunculifolia, known as “alecrim do campo,” was collected in the rural area of Muriaé, MG, and subjected to different extraction techniques to obtain hydroalcoholic and glycolic extracts. Phytochemical screening revealed the presence of phenols, tannins, saponins, and other compounds, crucial for the desired activity. Based on these results, a phytocosmetic gel with a low concentration of fatty components was formulated, aiming for efficacy and safety. The stability of the product was assessed under various conditions, and physicochemical parameters, such as pH and viscosity, were monitored. The phyto-cosmetic gel demonstrated stability throughout the study, maintaining its organoleptic and physicochemical characteristics. The final product composition included 2% of alcoholic extract of Baccharis dracunculifolia. This quantitative descriptive-exploratory study aimed to identify the advantages perceived by nurses regarding the advantages of a nurse manager in the USF.
