With an exceptionally wide range of occupations and diverse activities in the field of culture and social and political activity in general, he enormously contributed to the affirmation of the national and cultural identity of Bosniaks and their inclusion in the European socio-historical and cultural context. In the relatively rich literary opus of Safvet-beg Bašagić, one of the most important places certainly belongs to his patriotic lyric poetry. In the current paper, we will point out the sources of his lyric poetry, some of its poetic characteristics, and the most important traits of the two phases that appear in the development of this type of Bašagić's lyric poetry. For each method, a brief historical background is provided, followed by the aims, principles, techniques, and limitations. Continuous examination of ELT methods is essential because they provide an organized framework for teachers to deliver instructions and knowledge effectively. The choice of teaching method is vital to meet all the requirements of successful language teaching and learning. Additionally, different learning approaches suit different students. Today there are many teaching methods, but this paper will touch on the most significant ones that marked the historical development and beginnings of methods in language teaching and learning. By exploring the features of each method, this paper aims to enhance the understanding of their differences and to provide a critical view of each, in order to inform and assist young English language teachers in evaluating their own teaching practices. In order to contribute to the acceptance of the global concept of sustainability and its implementation in practice, in the theoretical part we define the term sustainable development, and we emphasize the importance of Agendas and legal acts, the importance of lifelong learning and education about sustainable development, the role of environmental education and the need for the creation of new curricula. In the empirical part, we present the research related to the examination and determination of students' attitudes towards the bearers of responsibility for sustainable development in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Attitudes are examined and determined based on five answers offered in the survey questionnaire. The research included two faculties of the University of Bihać – Islamic Pedagogical Faculty (IPF) and Biotechnical Faculty (BTF). The research convenience sample consisted of 90 student respondents from all years of study (I-IV). In order to conduct the analysis, the methods of surveying, comparison and statistical processing of data by means of a χ2 chi-square test were used. Based on the examination and determination of all answers given by the IPF and BTF student respondents related to the bearers of responsibility for sustainable development, the research results showed that the respondents have a unique view that the responsibility for sustainable development in our country is borne by each individual. In a more specific sense, this paper intends to argue for the effectiveness of the complementarity of the roles of \"khalif\" and \"abd\" (a ruler and a slave) in a man, in the three-dimensional tension between three essential elements related to humans as \"endowed\", \"in charge\" and \"responsible\" beings, along with \"dependency\" as a central and relevant determinant. In further elaboration of the topic, we will to a certain extent discuss the Qur'anic sources that emphasize the two-dimensionality of human nature and that suggest their equal and proportional treatment. This modest study will try to project an adequate treatment of two diametrically different dimensions of a human being - material and spiritual, whose heterogeneous structure unites and merges into a homogeneous and coherent whole, and as such realizes the predestination roles of \"Khalif\" and \"abd\" (a ruler and a slave) here and now.
