The experiment, designed with Split-Plot Experimental Design based on stress levels, was divided into two main plots, Organic and Conventional, and each of these plots was further divided into two subplots. The predawn leaf water potential results categorized the vines into two groups: those with values lower than -8 MPa and those greater than -8 MPa, which were labeled as Dryland-shallow soil and Baseland-deep soil, respectively, based on the location and soil type. During the harvest, grape clusters were collected and classified into three groups based on berry diameter (10mm-12mm, 12mm-14mm, 14mm-16mm). The results indicated that the 10mm-12mm berry size group generally exhibited the desired characteristics across all evaluated criteria. The total anthocyanin and total tannin content were found to be higher in the 10mm-12mm berries from vines experiencing moderate stress (Stress 1), regardless of their location. Additionally, the Dryland-shallow soil condition showed higher tannin content. On the other hand, grapes from high-stress vines displayed lower antioxidant values. The total polyphenol index content was higher in the organic vineyard. Based on the findings, it was suggested that to obtain high phytochemical compounds from Cabernet-Sauvignon grapes in the Tekirdağ region, cultivation should be carried out under Dryland-shallow soil conditions, where the predawn leaf water potential can drop as low as -0.8 MPa during the period between veraison and harvest. Günümüzde tarımsal üretimde yaşanılan bu sorunlardan birisi olan tarımsal üretimde verim ve kaliteyi etkileyen hastalık, zararlı ve yabancı otlarla mücadelede en çok tercih edilen yöntem kimyasal mücadele olup, Bitki Koruma Ürünleri (BKÜ) kullanılmaktadır. Türkiye’de 2022 yılında 55.374 ton BKÜ kullanılmıştır. Türkiye’de BKÜ kullanımına baktığımızda, hektara düşen oran 2.26 kg/ha olup, gelişmiş ülkelere göre oldukça düşüktür. Ancak tarımsal üretim faaliyetlerinin yoğun olarak yapıldığı Akdeniz, Ege ve Marmara bölgelerinde BKÜ tüketim miktarı fazladır. Dünyada tarımda BKÜ kullanımı 2021 yılında 2020 yılına göre %4 artışla 3,5 milyon ton aktif madde, toplam pestisit ticareti ise 7,1 milyon ton formüle edilmiş ürün ve toplam değeri 43,2 milyar ABD dolarıdır. Ceratitis capitata Wied., Rhagoletis cerasi L. (Diptera: Tephritidae), Drosophila suzukii (Matsumura) and Zaprionus indianus (Gupta) (Diptera: Drosophilidae) are the leading pests that cause worms in fruits. Using adult trapping, we studied the population dynamics of this four pests at different altitudes fruit orchards of Adana, during 2019 and 2020. R. cerasi adults emerged after the second week of May, and the last adult emergence was seen with the completion of the harvest. Adult population density was found at low levels. D. suzukii adults appeared at 113m (Balcalı) in April, and their emergence times were observed to be a little later as the altitude increased, and it was determined that they continued their existence in nature until the end of December. It has the highest populations in late June - mid-July and late October - November. The time of occurrence of C. capitata and Z. indianus adults in nature in both years was after cherry fruits were harvested. The aim of the study was to examine the effects of two different harvest times (cotyledon [embryonic leaves] and 1.5-true leaf stage) of five microgreens on the bioactive compounds in terms of phenolic content and antioxidant activity. The total phenolic content ranged from 60.9 to 2153.2 mg GAE g-1 in cotyledon leaves, whereas the value varied from 96.2 to 2113.9 mg GAE g-1 in the true leaves of microgreens. Increases in the phenolic content of the first true leaves in dill and chia were detected as 57.8% and 29.6% compared to the cotyledon leaf. Among the cotyledon microgreens, the maximum phenolic content was detected in garden cress. The antioxidant capacity of the cotyledon and true leaf stages ranged between 485.4±2.3-1985.67±24.9 µg g-1 and 508.87±5.3-2393.56±12.6 µg g-1, respectively. The maximum antioxidant capacity was detected in radish followed by garden cress. The biggest variation between the cotyledon and first true leaves in the study was observed for red beetroot.
