To overcome this, the government, non-governmental organizations, business actors and the community are carrying out programs to handle a paradigm shift in the disaster management model from responsive to more preventive in order to reduce it by emphasizing disaster risk reduction efforts and active involvement. The aim of this research is to examine government, company and non-governmental organization intervention programs related to preventing forest and land fire disasters. Qualitative research methods are used to explore sources of information in answering research questions. Data collection uses open interviews and observations as well as Forum Group Discussions regarding strategic intervention designs carried out by local governments, non-governmental organizations, and local communities. The research results show that the forest and land fire prevention model require a sustainable intervention program. The intervention carried out by the provincial government and local government involves all elements of society, including entrepreneurs, non-governmental organizations, fire care communities, farmer groups and the community itself. The results achieved within three years were a reduction in the incidence of forest and land fires.","PeriodicalId":506292,"journal":{"name":"Qubahan Academic Journal","volume":"20 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139229789","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The quantitative research method was used, along with convenience sampling. The outer and inner models are evaluated using Smart Partial Least Square 3.0, and the validity test is performed by examining the convergent and discriminant validity. The study's findings indicate that leadership, stakeholder roles, tourist actor competence, and RIPPARDA - Mojokerto City implementation all have a direct impact on tourist destination governance. Meanwhile, leadership, the role of stakeholders, and the competence of tourism actors all have an indirect impact on tourist destination governance. As a result, the synergy between leaders, stakeholders, and tourism actors is the implication of this research for Mojokerto city policymakers. Leadership can be achieved by increasing the mayor's active role, while stakeholders can help by providing information through travel services or selling souvenirs at tourist attractions. The competence of tourism actors must also be improved through extensive training.","PeriodicalId":506292,"journal":{"name":"Qubahan Academic Journal","volume":"15 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139232048","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These changes have caused psychological problems or stress among teachers. The study aims to describe the mental health issue during COVID-19 and how to overcome it. The study applied quantitative and qualitative approaches, with 1,520 teachers, consisting of 615 teachers from Islamic Schools (madrasah) in Bali and 905 in NTT. Findings indicate that the stress level experienced by madrasah teachers in the two provinces was in a low category at a score of 1.54, though both regions were at very different levels in terms of internet affordability, the highest cause of teacher stress was the concern for students’ ability to absorb the learning material; and 92.68% of teachers selected problem-focused coping mechanisms, particularly efforts to improve their skills in conducting distance learning. The findings from the study provide important input for teachers’s coping strategies for mental health issues of distance learning.","PeriodicalId":506292,"journal":{"name":"Qubahan Academic Journal","volume":"176 3 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139228443","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Anchored in a grounded theory, theoretical sampling was utilized among sixteen 4th and 5th grade students in geometry class including three teacher-observers and one teacher-demonstrator playing the “emic-etic” role or participant observer. Lessons in geometry with Islamic contexts were sporadically presented with citations of verses from the Holy Qur’an coupled with Islamic value-infusions. Designed in a qualitative grounded theory approach, an interview script was used for individual and focus group interviews.  Ten content validated -lessons in geometry were designed to capture the Islamized learning phenomenon wherein field notes of observations and video footages were qualitatively analyzed using the lens of systematic approach coined as constant comparative method of analysis. Results indicated that substantive theory on the process of learning geometry in content-validated lessons with Islamic value-infusions as perceived  to have brain-based learning was evidently observed which revolved on five sub-elements: (a) connection; (b) attention;(c) imagination and action; (d) emotions and recollection; and (e) associations. The approach to integrating Islamic values in content-validated lessons recognized the presence and the process of brain-based learning principles. Observed in cyclical context, emotion and memory play a significant role to learning guided by the content-validated lessons in geometry. The infusion of religious values and appreciation of creation informs one’s understanding of the emotions and their importance for learning which are therefore critical to brain-based learning principles.","PeriodicalId":506292,"journal":{"name":"Qubahan Academic Journal","volume":"30 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139273623","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
