The purpose of this research is to explore the relationship between investment and labour productivity in the sectors of the Azerbaijani economy. The research employed a combination of analytical methods, including statistical analysis of data from the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan on labour productivity and investment in the chemical and petrochemical sectors. Functional analysis was used to examine the role of labour productivity, while systematic analysis explored the factors influencing productivity. The research also utilized deduction to establish general principles, synthesis to integrate data, and comparative analysis to identify effective investment areas. The study revealed that investing in the chemical and petrochemical sectors in Azerbaijan has a beneficial effect on labour productivity. Technological innovation, labour skills, working conditions, and infrastructure were identified as factors that impact labour productivity in these industries. Various investment areas that can enhance productivity have been identified, including investments in human capital, production organisation, and advanced technology. The study investigates the direct impacts of investments in technology, human capital, and infrastructure on labour productivity within Azerbaijan's chemical and petrochemical industries and identifies which specific areas of investment most effectively enhance productivity and the underlying reasons for their success. {"title":"The Relation Between Learning Engagement and Academic Self-Efficacy Toward Academic Achievement among University Students","authors":"Hong-Ping Pang, A. Veloo","doi":"10.48161/qaj.v4n2a512","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.48161/qaj.v4n2a512","url":null,"abstract":"The aim of this study is to investigate the correlation between learning engagement and academic self-efficacy towards academic achievement among normal college students in China. The method of this research is a descriptive survey conducted in the field. Students’ statistical community from Shangrao Normal University in Jiangxi Province, China that their number is about 15,000 people, and 1,507 people were selected as a sample by simple random method. Out of these participants, 471 were malearning engagement (31.3%) and 1036 were femalearning engagement (68.7%) students. This study used Learning Engagement Scale-Student (UWES-S), Academic Self-efficacy Questionnaire (ASEQ) and academic achievement assessment as instruments. The data was analyzed using t-tests, one-way ANOVA and regression analysis. The results indicate that there is no significant gender difference observed in learning engagement or academic self-efficacy. However, when considering different grades, learning engagement demonstrates a significant disparity with the lowest level found among Grade 2 students, which significantly differs from Grade 1, Grade 3, and Grade 4 respectively. On the other hand, no significant differences are observed in academic self-efficacy across different grades. Furthermore, there are notable learning engagement variances between students with varying levels of achievement regarding both learning engagement and academic self-efficacy. Regression analysis reveals that learning engagement directly influences academic achievement while academic self-efficacy acts as a mediating factor for academic achievement. The research results confirmed the significant correlation between students’ learning engagement, academic self-efficacy, and academic achievement; learning engagement has a direct impact on academic achievement, meanwhile academic self-efficacy mediates the relationship between learning engagement and academic achievement. As per the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), every developing and developed nation has to implement them. Due to this, many organizations are supposed to implement these practices, and in order to achieve this, employees play an important role. The main purpose of this study is to know how the environmental awareness of employees helps in achieving a firm’s sustainability under the moderating effect of organizational support. In this research, a structured questionnaire is prepared, and employees who are working in manufacturing and service sectors are considered for this study to fill out the questionnaire. 340 samples were collected and analyzed using PLS-SEM. Findings of the study reveal that organizational support doesn’t show much influence on employees concern for the environment. They help to be successful in the workplace or simply to be able to find a common language with anyone. They also have a crucial impact on the economy, as the acquisition of soft skills contributes to the more efficient functioning of enterprises and the economy as a whole. However, in the current context, due to the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, certain difficulties have arisen in their development in countries around the world. That is why it remains relevant to conduct research in terms of their improvement (in particular, for the human resources potential of employees of enterprises and civil servants). Thus, the aim of the study was to develop a unified framework to help overcome the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the soft skills of employees in Ukraine, both in the public and private sectors. The main research methods used were analysis, forecasting, abstraction and the historical method. Thus, the paper investigated the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the professional skills of the Ukrainian workforce. The article shows a decrease in the number of working-age population in the Lviv region and highlights various factors contributing to this decrease. It also analyses the correlation between different factors that influence the development of soft skills. Based on this, the paper then offers advice on how to overcome the consequences of the pandemic, and builds a model that summarizes the advice and provides an understanding of how it should be applied. Since its inception in the 1990s till the present, digital steganography has a lengthy history. Early steganography focused primarily on imperceptibility, security and embedding capacity. In addition to using statistics as a foundation, convolution neural networks (CNN), generative adversarial networks (GAN), coverless approaches, and machine learning are all used to construct steganographic methods. Robustness is becoming a crucial component of many innovative techniques. Spatial, Transform, and Adaptive domains serve as the understructure of those novel methods. This broadens the range of steganographic technique development and often concentrates the implementation of adaptive techniques. As a result, this study helps to analyze the fundamentals of image steganography, a comparative review on the spatial domain algorithms. As using evaluation tools is strongly tied to the effectiveness of steganography, this study also goes into great detail about its application. Today when information is intensively produced and consumed, whether a person’s existence is acknowledged and whether a person continues to succeed are directly connected to whether a good quality reading and writing education was received by the person in the past. The goal of this research is to evaluate and analyze the views of mothers, who participated in the primary education course on reading and writing in Turkish at the Turkish Cypriot Child Protection Institution in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus approximately for five months in the spring semester of the 2022-2023 academic year, as well as the views of their children, who closely followed up the process. With this goal, a study was carried out with 15 mothers, who participated in the above course, and 15 children, who stood by their mothers during this process. Mothers and children participating in the study were asked to narrate the memories of their experiences during the primary education course on reading and writing in Turkish. The research data were collected via face-to-face interviews and written documents. This type of research uses normative legal research, using a conceptual approach and a statutory approach as well as the Koran and hadith, primary and secondary.  Legal materials obtained and analyzed qualitatively and then presented descriptively. The article aims to explain in general, the principles of sharia financing business activities include justice ('adl), balance (tawazun), kemashlahatan (maslahah), universalism (alamiyah), and do not contain gharar, maisir, usury, zhulm, risywah, and other haram objects. Financing or financing is funding provided by one party to another to support planned investments, both carried out by themselves and institutions. In other words, financing is funding issued to support planned investments. This is what drives researchers to conduct research. Formulation of the problem of how to implement Perma and what are the obstacles and how to overcome obstacles in implementing this Perma. The purpose of this research is to find out the implementation of Perma and find out the obstacles and how to overcome these obstacles. The methodology in this study uses an empirical juridical approach where research is carried out directly through interviews with research objects in the field, then connected with secondary data.
