Thus, the objective of the research was to analyze the temporal dynamics of the Metropolitan Region of Belém (RMB), from a socio-environmental perspective, and its relationship with natural disasters in the period from 2010 to 2021. To this end, indicators were collected in the Automatic Recovery System (SIDRA) of IBGE and in the National Sanitation Information System (SNIS) of the Ministry of Regional Development. The results indicated that in RMB, the volume of sewage collected is considerably higher in relation to the treated one. The difference in the population quantity citing the sewage collection service is also significant, with households that do not have one prevailing. The extension of water and sewage networks did not keep up with population growth. The data proved that the lack of planning consistent with the structural and environmental conditions of the region contributed to the chaos scenario experienced in RMB. It is understood that the research is useful to support the adoption of public policies regarding the losses caused by these occurrences, as well as to prepare for future events.","PeriodicalId":505714,"journal":{"name":"Concilium","volume":"2 11","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140712415","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the mix of different species can alter the silage quality. So, this work objective was to evaluate the nutritive value of silage produced by sorghum monocropped, sorghum intercropped with a tropical grass, sorghum intercropped with a leguminous and sorghum intercropped with a tropical grass and a leguminous. Treatments were arranged in a randomized complete block design, with four replications. The treatments were: monocropped sorghum silage and sorghum silage intercropped with dwarf pigeon pea, palisade grass, palisade grass and dwarf pigeon pea, guinea grass, and guinea grass and dwarf pigeon pea. The bromatological quality of silage were determined. Palisade grass enhances the silage values of in vitro dry matter digestibility and total digestible nutrients. Guinea grass increases the silage crude protein content of both silages.","PeriodicalId":505714,"journal":{"name":"Concilium","volume":"16 5","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140712112","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is a chain phenomenon where structural damage occurs in an amplified way due to the action of gravity or caused by some dynamic factor such as explosions. Collapses of slabs on upper floors are very common caused by some dynamic fator or failures on reinforcements. The present paper aims to analyze the progressive collapse of concrete structures in commercial and residential buildings. In this work, the dynamic background of progressive collapse are defined, the pathological aspects existing in buildings, as well as the calculation parameters used by Brazilian and international codes to prevent such pathologies. Real cases that occurred around the world are analyzed and how progressive collapse has been treated in recent decades. It is also suggested for cases in which the structure allows recovery, which procedures can be used.","PeriodicalId":505714,"journal":{"name":"Concilium","volume":"20 4","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140711082","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, after the educational period, a question is important to ask about the lives of these social actors. Survival is crucial and perhaps some will start to live off the charity of others or the state. It is believed that the insertion into the job market is also crucial for them to have autonomy and more independence. Therefore, this research presents the scenario of labor inclusion of deaf people, seeking to understand the education/work relationship. The primary objective of this article is to analyze the proportion of influence of the educational process on the inclusion of deaf people in the formal job market in São Luís/MA. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews in the city of São Luís/MA, with four deaf participants, formally linked to federal spheres and private companies, in the following federal public institutions: the Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA) and the National Institute of Social Security (INSS) and two private companies in the retail sector. The results showed that education strongly influences the inclusion of deaf people in the job market. Therefore, access to higher education is a big step towards seeking vacancies in public positions, with better salaries, while a process interrupted in secondary education could allow for more exhaustive jobs in private companies that hire deaf people just to comply with what the quotas law recommends.","PeriodicalId":505714,"journal":{"name":"Concilium","volume":"10 18","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140712019","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This exploratory research aims to disseminate the advantages of neuroergonomic principles in daily human professional life and apply it in two experiments in Production Engineering to improve the performance and sense of well-being of workers in an assembly line replicated in the laboratory. The methodology involved measuring time during the assembly of a 1:18 scale vehicle in two experiments, one with and the other without neuroergonomic rules. The result showed that for assembly under neuroergonomic concepts of five units of each experiment, there was a reduction of up to six minutes for Experiment #2. It is concluded that the application of neuroergonomic principles can reduce the time of operational activities through the reorganization of elements and rearrangement of the layout, contributing to advances in the application of neuroergonomics in production engineering and for well-beig perception of employees.","PeriodicalId":505714,"journal":{"name":"Concilium","volume":"42 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140734046","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This is a nationwide electronic public record mandatory for all rural properties. The registration tool has shown some discrepancies, particularly in the georeferencing section aimed at identifying land use, occupation, and perimeter information. This study aims to assess the divergences in information obtained through CAR due to different map insertion methods and to analyze the precision and accuracy of the methods. For each property, a map generated from Google Earth was produced in a KML file format. These maps were obtained through public consultation of the rural environmental registry provided by the Brazilian Institute of the Environment, comparing them against the orbital image contained therein for each method. The comparisons between methods were analyzed using simple correlation, categorized into four groups based on property size. The results obtained indicate that the registration quality is directly related to the quality of the georeferencing section within the CAR application. When combined with certification data, we obtain a more reliable declaration result.","PeriodicalId":505714,"journal":{"name":"Concilium","volume":"44 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140734147","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim of the present scoping review was to evaluate the prevalence of pneumatized articular eminence of the temporal bone on panoramic radiograph and computed tomography images. A search was performed of the following databases: Medline/Pubmed, SciELO, LILACS and Scopus. Prevalence papers with use of radiographic or tomographic images. Papers from any language were included, published up to February 2024. Among the 54 selected papers, a total sample of 75015 patients was considered. The pooled prevalation of pneumatized articular eminence was 3865 (5,85) cases. Upon further comparison, computerized tomography images presented higher prevalence than panoramic radiograph. Specific prevalence analysis showed that the prevalence is higher in females (1.11:1 ratio), unilateral (1,55:1) and multilocular (2,19:1). When computed tomography was employed, the biletaral and multilocular prevalence was higher, in comparison to studies using panoramic radiography. Computed tomography should be considered the stardard imaging exam for assessing pneumatization.","PeriodicalId":505714,"journal":{"name":"Concilium","volume":"37 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140735466","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
