Using an exploratory research methodology, the study analyzes historical, theoretical, and empirical sources to understand the relationship between education and state-building. Initially dominated by the Church, education was centralized by the State from the 18th century onwards to promote national identity and social cohesion. In colonial contexts, modern schooling was used to shape the workforce and disseminate colonial values. With the emergence of nation-states, public education became a tool for modernization, development, and globalization. The study concludes that public schooling was fundamental for the construction of state sovereignty and the formation of citizens aligned with state ideals. Curriculum standardization and teacher training ensured social cohesion and the integration of the popular masses into the social structure. Public education emerged as a central institution in the architecture of the modern state, playing a multifaceted role in the formation of citizens and the consolidation of social order. As an area that has such a finite resource as a basic operating condition and that uses this resource on a large scale, it is necessary to constantly seek to optimize its use, having as pillars quality and economy in the treatment of effluents generated. It is in stages like this that coagulating reagent work. In the processing unit in question, more than 90% of the water is recirculated and reused, a process that relies on the support of a coagulant to accelerate the sedimentation of solids and guarantee the reuse of water of sufficient quality to provide operations with the solvent necessary for the environment. physicochemical. The coagulant currently used in tailings dam operations is aluminum sulfate. Due to the high use and cost spent on this reagent, tests were conducted with two other alternative coagulants (iron III chloride and iron III sulfate), comparing the cost-benefit between the reagents assessed. To this end, a cost-benefit factor was used, calculated using the cost of the reagent, dosage, residual turbidity of the clarified liquid and the sedimentation speed of the solids. After the tests, it was found that aluminum sulfate, the reagent used in the operation until then, was the best option among the reagents assessed. Pancreatic disorders are common but difficult to diagnose due to their anatomical location and vague symptoms. Pancreatic pseudotumors are enlarged pancreas without neoplasia and can be mistakenly diagnosed as malignant, complicating treatment. One study demonstrated that 9.2% of pancreatic resections suspected of malignancy were benign. In the clinical case presented, a 35-year-old male patient presented with severe abdominal pain, jaundice, weight loss, as well as fever, nausea, and vomiting. Laboratory tests showed significant changes in liver enzymes, bilirubin, and blood count. The differential diagnosis included lymphoma, tuberculosis, and other pathologies. Laparotomy revealed peripancreatic lymph nodes with caseous necrosis, which were confirmed as tuberculosis. Pancreatic tuberculosis is rare and can be confused with neoplasms due to similar symptoms. Accurate diagnosis requires a high degree of suspicion and methods such as image-guided biopsy. Treatment involves the use of tuberculostatics. According to the epidemiological picture of dengue in Brazil, a wide distribution of Aedes aegypti was observed in all regions with the circulation of three main viral serotypes (DENV1, DENV2 and DENV3) and a great possibility of the introduction of the DENV4 serotype. Its transmission involves vectors of the Aedes genus, with Aedes aegypti being responsible for the urban cycle of the disease. It is an acute disease that can progress to remission of symptoms, or worsening of the case followed by death, a fact that highlights the importance of effective control measures. The initial hypothesis was Crohn's disease. Diseases that affect the intestine can be grouped under Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), which refers to an inflammatory process that affects the gastrointestinal tract (with autoimmune characteristics). Crohn's disease (CD) and Ulcerative colitis (UC) account for about 80-90% of the causes. Other types of pathology, such as Behçet's disease, eosinophilic enterocolitis, and microscopic colitis (lymphocytic or collagenous), can also be causes, but they are much rarer than CD and UC. This case report is about a 23-year-old patient, admitted to a hospital in the city of Anápolis, GO, who presented with active ileitis, diarrhea, and enterorrhagia, asthenia, and weight loss. After extensive investigation—laboratory tests, echocardiogram, abdominal CT scan, and colonoscopy with lymph node biopsy—, the patient was diagnosed with Yersinia sp. infection. Therefore, studies on the physiological and biochemical responses of crops exposed to insecticides are required. Standard (non-optical) tests are used to evaluate the physiological quality of seeds. However, some tests may need to be more sensitive to observe possible differences between the control group and the groups of interest. Optical techniques such as ultra- weak photon emission and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy have been discovered to aid standard tests. The effects of different doses of Thiamethoxam were evaluated on wheat seeds from the cultivar FPS Certero. Samples were divided into five groups: control and treated with 75, 150, 225, and 300 mL of Thiamethoxam for each 100 kg of seeds. The ultra-weak photon emission results showed that it was possible to classify the treatment doses through the intensity of photon emissions. The Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy analyses can be used for biological analysis but are unrelated to Thiamethoxam seed treatment. Among its subtypes, severe asthma stands out, where the symptomatic condition persists despite optimized treatment at advanced levels. The present study is a case report associated with a literature review on the use of immunobiologicals in the clinical treatment of severe asthma. Female patient, 53 years old, history of late-onset asthma at age 25, with frequent exacerbations, using drug therapy based on inhaled corticosteroid (ICS), long-acting β2-agonist (LABA) and a long-acting muscarinic antagonist (LAMA) in a single inhaler associated with the use of oral corticosteroids.
