The enforcement of 'sasi' by the indigenous community for natural resource management represents a form of responsibility and manifestation of good governance in implementing natural resource management policies in Negeri Morella. The research approach used is qualitative, with a case study design. The research results indicate that the implementation of 'sasi' in indigenous territories in Maluku, especially in Central Maluku, has significantly reduced and, in some cases, is not implemented at all. Negeri Morella itself only enforces 'sasi pala' (nutmeg prohibition) with the main objective of supporting the economic resilience of the community households. The active involvement of the Negeri Morella Government in natural resource management through the enforcement of 'sasi' has had a positive impact on the community, ensuring the sustainability of the available resources for future generations.","PeriodicalId":503663,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Governance","volume":"15 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140234690","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With the global demand for nickel in electric vehicle batteries increasing, Indonesia, as one of the largest nickel producers, faces signi>icant challenges in ensuring a stable, environmentally friendly, and affordable energy supply for nickel processing and extraction. The study uses data analysis from the mining and energy sectors to evaluate how current energy policies impact the nickel industry. It also explores the use of renewable energy sources in nickel mining operations and their impact on environmental sustainability. Furthermore, the article assesses the economic accessibility of the energy used in the nickel industry, considering the importance of nickel in the Indonesian economy. Findings indicate that despite progress in renewable energy utilization, challenges remain in production scalability and long-term sustainability. The article proposes strategies for optimizing energy resource management in the nickel industry, emphasizing the importance of technological innovation, supportive policies, and international cooperation. This research provides essential insights for policymakers, investors, and industry stakeholders in addressing the energy trilemma in Indonesia, particularly in the context of the evolving nickel industry.","PeriodicalId":503663,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Governance","volume":"981 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139177016","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research results show that the e-penting program in Bandung City has had a positive impact on recording stunting data with a strong gender mainstreaming approach. The data collected involved the active participation of women at various levels, from posyandu to sub-districts, producing more in-depth information about the impact of the program on women and men. This program successfully integrates gendered data analysis into the monitoring process, providing more comprehensive insight into gender inequality in stunting rates and access to health services. The evaluation showed that women's participation as direct users and stakeholders supported the success of the program, with women's opinions and experiences signiHicantly integrated in the analysis of the program's successes and shortcomings. In this way, e-penting is not only an effective tool for recording stunting data but also a pioneer in realizing gender equality and women's empowerment through information technology innovation.","PeriodicalId":503663,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Governance","volume":"1008 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139176947","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research seeks to compare three villages that were and are currently led by women. Do they reflect inclusiveness? This inclusiveness from the campaign period to the dynamics when taking office will be seen. The research results show that not all female leaders at the village level can design inclusiveness. The main objective of this research is to analyze the extent to which the implementation of e-government has contributed to ef>iciency, transparency, and community involvement in the delivery of public services. The research methodology involves a case-study approach to e-government implementation at various levels of government in Indonesia. The results of this research highlight the positive impact of information and communication technology (ICT) innovation in the transformation of public policy, especially in Indonesia. The digitalization of public services, increasing transparency and public participation through social media, ef>iciency and cost savings through process automation, and efforts to increase data security are key points that support the transformation of public administration. The implementation of e-government in Indonesia, driven by central government policy, re>lects efforts to improve services, ef>iciency, and community involvement. However, challenges such as the digital divide, resistance to change, legal and regulatory issues, and the need for inclusive public participation are things that need to be considered in implementing ICT innovation in public policy. Taking these challenges into account, this research concludes that ICT innovation can be a signi>icant driver in achieving positive transformation in public administration, provided that it is necessary to overcome the obstacles that arise.","PeriodicalId":503663,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Governance","volume":"178 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139177220","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
