Constructed wetlands, which utilize natural processes to treat wastewater, represent a sustainable alternative to conventional methods. Despite their benefits in enhancing water quality and local biodiversity, these systems pose significant challenges, notably in land use and socio-economic impacts. The research highlights the conflict between environmental initiatives and urban development, exacerbated by land scarcity and housing affordability issues. This paper proposes strategies for optimizing wetland design and suggests policy adjustments to balance ecological benefits with urban development needs, aiming for sustainable urban planning.","PeriodicalId":498606,"journal":{"name":"Scientific and social research","volume":"80 11","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141655317","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on theories related to fan group research and identity research, this paper explains the identity construction process and outcomes of fan group members. This paper also offers insights into understanding the conflicts between fan culture and mainstream culture and elucidates the interaction between fan groups and mainstream society. The paper provides a reference for understanding the friction between fan culture and mainstream culture and clarifying the interaction between fan groups and mainstream society. Through participant observation and semi-structured in-depth interviews, a qualitative approach was adopted to understand the experiences, values, and lifestyles of K-pop fans. The results of the study show that K-pop fans are not only following their favorite idols but also seeking a sense of belonging and identity in their pursuit of these idols. Driven by a variety of social factors, the process and outcome of this type of identity formation, characterized by being low-cost, easy to reproduce, and high in emotional intensity, consistently infiltrate different aspects of socio-economic, cultural, and political spheres, giving rise to the “fan effect.” However, fan identity is one of the symbols associated with individuals, but it does not necessarily indicate complete support and belonging. Instead of stating that the frantic pursuit of stars is a result of social issues caused by the fan base, it is more crucial to acknowledge that the cultural phenomenon of being a fan is a cultural manifestation of certain social symptoms. The practice of fan culture is more of a cultural symptom of certain social disorders than a series of social problems caused by fans.","PeriodicalId":498606,"journal":{"name":"Scientific and social research","volume":"139 4","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141656007","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Talent revitalization is the key to rural revitalization. Through its exemplary leading role and resource-driven role, new rural sages can effectively enhance the autonomy of villagers and promote rural economic development. However, in practice, the role positioning of new rural sage and its role in assisting the village committees in governance and serving the villagers need to be clarified. Therefore, the role of the new rural sage needs to be played on the premise of adhering to the leadership of the party and village autonomy, clarifying the functional relationship with the village committees, and improving the participation and supervision system to ensure its effectiveness in the new era.","PeriodicalId":498606,"journal":{"name":"Scientific and social research","volume":"68 22","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141662947","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Existing literature has examined the relationship between taxi demand and rainfall, revealing a lack of understanding of the connection between rainfall and taxi supply. Moreover, Singapore remains underrepresented in studies on this relationship. This study contributes to the literature by providing nuance to the commonly held belief that rain value is negatively correlated with lower taxi availability. Further research may consider exploring the alternative causes of decreased taxi availability and incorporating private ride-hailing services in their investigations.","PeriodicalId":498606,"journal":{"name":"Scientific and social research","volume":"40 25","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141663483","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It may also become the main axis of ceramic art in the future. The most distinctive feature of Taiwan region’s public ceramic relief mural (PCRM) was pioneered by Pan-Hsiung Chu in 1987. In addition to breaking through the limitations of traditional PCRM, Chu uses local culture and perceptual art as themes, giving Taiwan region’s ceramic wall art a unique style and innovative value. This study uses in-depth interviews with experts to analyze the intrinsic properties of AHP. At the same time, IPA is used as the public’s preference evaluation, and TOPSIS analysis is applied to understand consumers’ preferences for PCRM design imagery. It is hoped that this will sort out the key preferences of consumers and provide a reference basis and research methods for promoting PCRM in the Taiwan region.","PeriodicalId":498606,"journal":{"name":"Scientific and social research","volume":"23 8","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141664853","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
