Quantitative assessment of the effectiveness of nonspecific prevention was performed using the Spearman correlation coefficient. Evaluation of the effectiveness of nonspecific prophylactic measures aimed at preventing TBI infestation showed that with the existing volumes of acaricidal treatments (up to 800.0 ha), there is no significant reduction in the number of ixodid ticks (correlation coefficient 0.32, p?<?0.05) and the incidence of TBI (correlation coefficient 0.40, p?<?0.05). A reliable relationship between the number of victims of tick bites on the territory of Tomsk and the number of morbidity of TBI (correlation coefficient 0.55, p?<?0.05) was revealed, where the increase in the frequency of contacts of the population with ixodid ticks leads to an increase in the morbidity of TBI diseases. They have diverse etiologies, including industrial toxins, drugs, and ethanol, leading to significant differences in pathogenesis at the molecular and genetic level. This study aimed to analyze genes involved in the response to toxic liver injury of different origins and to establish a model to predict the etiology of toxic hepatitis. To model acute toxic hepatitis, outbred white male rats weighing 180–200 g were used. They were divided into four groups: control group, tetrachloromethane group, paracetamol group, and ethanol group. 24 h and 72 h after toxicant administration rats were anesthetized and mRNA levels of Chek1, Gclc, Gstm1, Gstp1, Gstt1, Nfe2l2, Nqo1, and Ripk1 genes in liver homogenate were studied. Analysis of the expression of these genes showed that the expression profile varies depending on the etiology of toxic hepatitis. In tetrachloromethane poisoning, there was a marked increase in gene expression of Nqo1 (p?=?0.001), Gstm1 (p?=?0.037), and a decrease in gene expression of Nfe2l2 (p?=?0.004), Ripk1 (p?=?0.004). However, liver exposure to paracetamol and its metabolites resulted in decreased Gstm1 gene expression (p?=?0.001) and increased Nfe2l2 (p?=?0.009), Gclc (p?=?0.001), and Chek1 (p?=?0.011) gene expression. No significant changes in the expression of these genes are found in alcohol intoxication. A model was constructed to predict the etiology of toxic hepatitis on the basis of gene expression indices. On May 27, rains began in the Altai Mountains and continued until May 30. During these three days, 117–185 percents of the monthly norm of precipitation fell. As a result, water levels in the Katun, Biya, Aley, and Ob rivers exceeded critical values and adjacent territories were flooded. During the flooding 128 settlements in 25 municipalities, 16053 houses with a population of 43619 people were flooded. Also, 91 social facilities and 4 cattle burial grounds were flooded. In connection with the emergency situation in the region caused by the flood, in order to prevent possible adverse consequences for the health of the population of the region, the Center of Hygiene and Epidemiology in the Altai region organized and carried out the necessary amount of sanitary and epidemiological measures (disinfection, deratization and disinsection) in the territories out of the flood zone. It is shown that in of the forest-steppe landscape the priority helio-meteorological risk factors for the incidence of HFRS were: an increase in precipitation in March of the current year and in October of the previous year, as well as an increase in the Wolf number with a shift relative to the incidence to the left by 6 years. On the territory of the steppe landscape, the leading helio-meteorological risk factors for the epidemic process of HFRS were: a decrease in precipitation in June of the previous year, an increase in precipitation in February of the current year, and an increase in the Wolf number with a shift to the left relative to the incidence by 3 years. We have obtained regression equations for a short-term (for the current year) forecast of the intensity of the epidemic process of HFRS, taking into account helio-meteorological factors in the territory of the forest-steppe and steppe landscapes. These mathematical equations have been tested against actual morbidity rates. They can be recommended for practical use, as well as further improvement of the model. For the first time in the territory of the Republic of Bashkortostan, barrier deratization was carried out in the winter period (February – March 2023) in order to improve the natural focus of HFRS on epidemic indications. Zoological, statistical, and epidemiological methods of research were used in the collection and analysis of data. According to zoological observations in the fall of 2022, the number of rodents in stationary points was 24.4 % per 100 trap-days, 2 times higher than in the fall of 2021. The peculiarity of weather conditions is high snow cover (up to 40 cm) and frost (up to minus 26 °C). The peculiarity of work: snowmobiles compacted snow in order to pass to the forest belt for spreading poisoned baits and setting traps. New data on the methodology of work – preliminary geocoding – determination of work sites (deratization and subsequent assessment of infestation after deratization) on the basis of mapping, according to the data of infection sites of patients with HFRS were presented. Features of the work are: participation of employees of different specialties (disinfectologists, biologists, zoologists, entomologist, assistants of medical epidemiologist), large-scale (4830 traps), compressed timing of work (February – March), 1030 days after winter deratization, interaction with the administration of the settlement. The technical complexity of setting traps to the level of \"ground\" in snow is described. Practical assistance of employees of research institutes, anti-plague institution, Reference centers for HFRS was noted. According to the results of external control of effectiveness after barrier deratization in winter, the number of small mammals in the farmsteads of settlements in 10–30 days after its completion did not exceed the normative index of 3 %, and in the forest belt around settlements did not exceed the normative index of 7 %. To increase the reliability of disinfection it is advisable to combine chemical methods with ultraviolet radiation (UV). This makes it possible to significantly increase the processing efficiency at significantly lower material costs. A review of the studied combined methods of disinfection of swimming pool water showed that the most promising are combinations of UV radiation with compounds of oxidative action and metal oxide nanoparticles. For their widespread use, it is necessary to conduct in-depth research on the development of effective application modes with justification of the safety of treated water for people when it penetrates the body.
