Abstract
Epidemiological assessment studied of the value of acaricidal treatments in the prevention of TBI in Tomsk during 2018–2022 and the data of federal statistical observation forms No. 2, and No. 27 were analyzed. Quantitative assessment of the effectiveness of nonspecific prevention was performed using the Spearman correlation coefficient. Evaluation of the effectiveness of nonspecific prophylactic measures aimed at preventing TBI infestation showed that with the existing volumes of acaricidal treatments (up to 800.0 ha), there is no significant reduction in the number of ixodid ticks (correlation coefficient 0.32, p?0.05) and the incidence of TBI (correlation coefficient 0.40, p?0.05). A reliable relationship between the number of victims of tick bites on the territory of Tomsk and the number of morbidity of TBI (correlation coefficient 0.55, p?0.05) was revealed, where the increase in the frequency of contacts of the population with ixodid ticks leads to an increase in the morbidity of TBI diseases. Keywords: tick-borne encephalitis, ixodid tick borrelioses, anti-tick treatments, hard ticks.
