Assessment of medical and social characteristics of patients at the Center for Reproduction and Family Planning Materials and methods. Using a specially developed questionnaire form “Card of medical and social examination of women suffering from infertility,” an anonymous survey was conducted of 398 women whose pregnancy occurred as a result of the IVF procedure. Mathematical data processing was carried out using spreadsheets of the MS Office‑2016 application package (Word, Excel) and the statistical software package StatSoft-Statistica 10.0. Results. The majority of women receiving treatment with IVF belong to the age group of 25–34 years (43.5%), permanently reside in St. Petersburg (88.0%), are married (73.0%), have higher and unfinished higher education (53.8%), employed (84.4%), have an average or above average income (95.0%) and good living conditions (93.0%). Among the patients, 15.1% are housewives. The share of non-working partners is 4.1%. The share of entrepreneurs among women and among men is about 20.1% and 23.1, respectively. The average age of the patient is 31.00±0.03 years, while the majority of women (61.9%) were first diagnosed with infertility before the age of 30, and almost half of the women became pregnant on the first try (49.6%). The majority plan to have only one child (43.2%). Before this pregnancy, 87.0% did not have children, but in case of ineffective treatment, 40.5% of respondents did not plan or doubted the need for adoption, and only 8.5% of women attempted it. Conclusion. The established medical and social profile of women who applied for infertility treatment using ART showed significant differences from the population. When making a decision about pregnancy, the high importance of material well-being factors was revealed. Despite the availability of IVF in the metropolis, patients at the reproduction center are largely focused on having one child and do not always have a positive attitude towards the issue of adoption. Scope of the results. Development of organizational measures aimed at increasing access to medical care for women with infertility.","PeriodicalId":496589,"journal":{"name":"Manager Zdravookhranenia","volume":"11 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140524239","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The high prevalence of diseases is due to a variety of risk factors. Polyethics, Cultural, Territorial and Demographic Features of the Chechen Republic (high birth rate, high proportion of the child population, predominance of rural residents, shortage of medical personnel), are reflected in the specifics of the provision of medical care to the population, and the analysis of the incidence of diseases of the musculoskeletal system and connective tissue in children is of interest and the need for detailed consideration. The purpose of the study: to determine the peculiarities of primary and general morbidity of diseases of the musculoskeletal system and connective tissue in children in the Chechen Republic. Materials and methods. Primary and general morbidity rates of children with musculoskeletal and connective tissue diseases were assessed and analyzed according to official statistical reports and publications of the Federal State Statistics Service and the Ministry of Health of Russia for the Chechen Republic in dynamics for 2016–2022. Statistical processing was performed in MS Office‑2016 program (Word, Excel). Results. The study showed a low incidence of musculoskeletal and connective tissue diseases in children in the Chechen Republic. The incidence of children in the groups of 0–14 and 15–17 years for the last 7 years has generally had a decreasing dynamics, with a change of trend: a decrease in 2016–2019 and an increase in cases of most nosologies in 2020–2022. Against the background of the COVID‑19 pandemic, there was a significant increase in deforming dorsopathies and arthropathies in general, including reactive arthropathies and juvenile arthritis. At the same time, no such correlation was found in rheumatoid arthritis: against the background of the pandemic, the downward trend in the registration of cases was continued. Conclusions. When organizing medical care for children with diseases of the musculoskeletal system and connective tissue, the prevalence of pathology, the level of medical staffing and the age composition of the child population should be taken into account. During 2016–2022, a decrease in primary morbidity prevailed in children 0–14 years of age, and in adolescents – in total morbidity. The COVID‑19 pandemic (the virus itself, decreased physical activity, and conditions limiting the availability of ambulatory care) contributed to the increase in most arthropathies and deforming dorsopathies. On the contrary, the incidence of rheumatoid arthritis in children has been steadily decreasing for 7 years.","PeriodicalId":496589,"journal":{"name":"Manager Zdravookhranenia","volume":"54 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140526282","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Using predictive models without taking into account changes in the demographic situation during COVID‑19, it was calculated that in the Kostroma region we can expect an increase in the number of births per 1000 people from 8.5 in 2020 to 9.9 in 2024 (optimistic script); reduction to 8.9 in 2024 (according to the pessimistic scenario); growth to 9.4 in 2024 (according to the average forecast). In addition, a decrease in the number of deaths per 1000 population is calculated from 16.7 in 2020 to 11.7 in 2024 (according to the optimistic scenario); reduction to 13.0 in 2024 (according to the pessimistic scenario); to 12.3 in 2024 (according to the average forecast).","PeriodicalId":496589,"journal":{"name":"Manager Zdravookhranenia","volume":"30 11","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140526504","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
