A description of the structure of the concept of information culture of students, formed as a result of the inductive method of scientific cognition undertaken by the authors, is proposed. The definition of the concept of information outlook is given, the meaning of the concepts of information literacy and information hygiene is concretized. The article presents an analysis of the practical study of the components of the information culture of students as a buffer social group that is in the stage of its active formation — both personal and professional; analysis of the results of a sociological study among students of the Astrakhan State Technical University. The study uses a quantitative method of collecting social information — a written survey. The respondents were selected using a two-stage nested sampling method. The sample size was 300 full-time students (150 boys, 150 girls) in three areas of professional training: natural science, technology and technical sciences, social sciences. As a result of the conducted research, the authors found insufficient formation of students' information culture in the components of information outlook and information literacy; a correlation was revealed between the variables «technologies and technical sciences» and «knowledge of ways to identify «fakes», students understanding of information hygiene was determined. The practical novelty of this scientific work consists in measuring the formation of the elements of the information culture of students of a regional university identified by the authors on the basis of a representative sample, taking into account the profile and specialty of vocational training in a particular university. The theoretical significance of the research is due to the introduction of the concept of «information outlook» into scientific use, the justification of the study of the essential elements of the information culture of students, the analysis of scientific papers on the topic, which allowed to expand scientific ideas about the object and subject of research.","PeriodicalId":486734,"journal":{"name":"Mir nauki. The main approaches to the development and implementation of the Master's program in sociology «Integration processes in Eurasia» are proposed, the purpose of which is to form a pool of specialists with the necessary competencies for this: research, preparation of predictive and analytical recommendations for government agencies and various organizations, participation in the implementation of interstate programs. The socio-humanitarian meanings of the development of integration interaction of the EAEU member states, the tasks of promoting socio-humanitarian values for the development of Eurasian integration are substantiated. Based on expert assessments, conditions have been proposed to guarantee the successful implementation of the program: the introduction of new teaching methods and technologies; broad partnership with employers and public organizations; the use of the advantages of digitalization of the educational process, programs, applications and other digital resources for e-learning both remotely and directly at the university; the introduction of online courses. {"title":"Migrants from Tajikistan and their families in the Moscow agglomeration","authors":"Maria Roslavtseva","doi":"10.15862/23scsk323","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.15862/23scsk323","url":null,"abstract":"The article is devoted to the analysis of the results of interviews and questionnaire survey of Tajik migrants in Moscow and the Moscow region. The article considers the self-assessment of family relations of migrants from Tajikistan and the material well-being of their families. Correlation factors affecting the state of family relations among migrants from Tajikistan have been identified. It is noted that the social institution of the family, in addition to the obvious functions of childbearing and upbringing, performs non-specific, but no less important economic functions related to the accumulation and transfer of property, status, organization of production and consumption, household, recreation and leisure. One of the options for implementing this function is the labor migration of family members. It has been established that migrants actively seek to maintain family relations in the case of labor migration. It is recommended that the migrant labor community needs state support to improve the economic situation of their families and reunite with them. Based on the results of the work, it was concluded that for more than a quarter of migrants, the purpose of staying in the Moscow agglomeration is to provide for their family. The respondents positively assess their relationships in the family and the ability to provide for them. Migration in most cases leads to the transformation of family relationships, as a result of which the ties in the respondents' family are not broken, and they strive to actively maintain contact with the family in an online format. Based on the conducted research and analysis of primary empirical data, the key conclusions about the nature of interaction with relatives of migrants from Tajikistan in Russia are presented.","PeriodicalId":486734,"journal":{"name":"Mir nauki. It is noted that the industry is undergoing a number of significant changes under the influence of factors that have arisen over the past three years now. They are the coronavirus pandemic and the tension of the political situation in the country and in the world. Due to restrictions on entry and the rise in the cost of providing medical services, the industry is shifting demand both for medical services themselves and for the countries that are preferred. Undoubtedly, the medical tourism industry needs predictive analysis. Therefore, this study is aimed at building a predictive model, on the basis of which it is possible to assess the prospects for the development of medical tourism, based on the social perceptions and expectations of young people. In the course of the study, it was revealed that the medical tourism industry is studied within the framework of a number of concepts and methods: the theory of queuing, the theory of «gray» systems, the theory of gravity, the analysis of the data shell, the calculation of the Medical Tourism Index (BMI). At the same time, within the framework of the author's study, it is proposed to study the medical tourism industry using discriminant analysis, which makes it possible to identify from a variety of stereotypes those that most influence the prospects for the development of the industry, at the same time determining which ones belong to those young people who believe that industries have development prospects, and which — to those who believe that the prospects are very doubtful. The toponyms of Norfolk Island stand out from other toponyms of the English language due to the isolated geographical location of the island and its violent history. This article discusses in detail the extralinguistic factors that determine the semantic features of geographical names of Norfolk Island. The historical factors that influenced the creation of a significant number of place names include the fact that the settlement of Norfolk Island was founded as a British penal colony. Other factors include political and economic dependence on the UK, and later on Australia. It is noted that the most important among such factors is the motivation of the residents who inhabited Norfolk Island after its discovery by Captain J. Cook. The historical factors we are considering influence the formation of certain connotations of the toponyms of Norfolk Island and Australia. The article proposes a structural and semantic classification of toponyms of Australia and Oceania. The criteria that served as the basis for describing the classification include the presence of positive or negative stylistic coloring. It is noted that some names change their stylistic coloring. This phenomenon is an example of historical rehabilitation. Among the most common anthropogenic factors affecting the structure of toponyms, we have identified the influence of historical figures on the development of the island and the difficult living conditions of the first settlers. At the beginning of the article it describes the main functions of the headlines of newspaper articles and their aims in modern printed and electronic publications. The author mentions nominative and informative, evaluative, advertising and esthetic functions which are not isolated, but interconnected in the newspaper headline as a media text. Further the text of the article deals with stylistic analysis, the author considers scientific and technical functional style together with official and business one, at the crossroads of which the style of writing the headlines is. Characteristic features of both styles are given. Official and business style gives military texts and headlines corresponding language character, logic, exactness, clarity, objectivity, concreteness, austerity. At the same time scientific and technical style is united with headlines by the usage of terminology, connected with warfare. In this research the morphological, syntactic, lexical, grammatical features of building headlines in the military articles in English are analyzed using the examples of headlines taken from The Guardian, The New York Times, The Telegraph, The Washington Post, The Times. The article also explains the attraction of military headlines by the usage of such unusual language structures as stylistic devices. Some stylistic devices are mentioned and defined, such as alliteration, speech and language epithets, metaphor, allusion. Examples of them are given. Annensky. The aim of the research is to analyze the aesthetic issue of the interaction of music and words within the framework of intermediality and traditions formed in Russian literature. Extensive material of Russian literature of the XIX century is involved. The analysis and comparison of the intermediate image of the string from the poem by I. Annensky «Bow and Strings» with a similar element in the works of F.I. Tyutchev, A.A. Fet, L.N. Tolstoy, I.S. Turgenev, A.P. Chekhov, V.V. Mayakovsky is carried out. The study is based on methods of intermediate analysis. The specificity of the «string» image is revealed and the difference in its semantics in I. Annensky's poem in relation to its predecessors is emphasized. The influence of the poet on subsequent generations of writers is shown. A musical instrument is endowed in the poetics of the author with greater sensitivity and sincerity, which gives them special power and significance. The image is contrasted with the world of people and becomes a sign of true exalted being. And Annensky continues the established intermedial tradition of presenting the image of the «string» within the framework of combining music and words, but complicates it, complements it with complex aesthetic and ethical content. In previous studies, these points were not reflected, which shows the novelty of this work. Associative and intertextual connections can be defined as the basis of intermedial interactions in the works of I. Annensky. It is noted that the fundamental reason for naming the toponyms of Australia and Oceania is the desire of speakers of different languages to leave a memory of themselves on geographical maps. The names of the largest number of Australian place names were given by the first settlers — navigators and discoverers. A significant number of them are English geographical names. Among the least common extralinguistic factors influencing the formation of toponyms, the names of vital objects by natives stand out. The instability of such toponyms in the language is noted. Such toponyms are mostly descriptive. Due to the wide field for research activities, a unified universal classification of toponyms has not yet been developed. The article analyzes the classifications of toponyms existing in linguistics and proposes its own classification of toponyms based on practical material from the geographical names of Australia and Oceania. The main criteria for highlighting the structural elements of the classification is the presence or absence of word-formation elements, many of which are typical for the sphere of toponymy. A large group is formed by phrases, which the authors of the article subdivide depending on the number of components. Particular attention is paid to the use of the article as part of the toponym, as well as graphic signs. The classification presented by the authors of the article also makes it possible to judge that the toponyms of Australia and Oceania are part of the lexical system of the general literary language.","PeriodicalId":486734,"journal":{"name":"Mir nauki. It is substantiated that without this complex sociocultural education, stability and sustainable development of society is impossible: the family, being part of the social structure, performs the functions prescribed by society and ensures that the new generation acquires basic values, cultural norms, and socially approved forms of behavior, thereby socializing it. It is indicated that the family is influenced by external dysfunctional social phenomena characteristic of both Russian society and the entire world community in general. The authors of the article analyzed scientific approaches to assessing the nature of changes experienced by a modern family. It has been established that researchers’ assessment of the transformation processes that have caused changes in marriage and family relations is carried out in the context of two paradigms — the modernization of the family and the crisis of the institution of marriage and family relations. Supporters of the modernization paradigm believe that the modern Russian family is evolving along with society, experiencing a process of modernization that is predominantly positive. Researchers, whose assessment of modern marriage and family relations is made from the standpoint of a crisis approach, argue their position by the fact that transformation processes not only destructure the family, but also undermine the institution of marriage and family relations, which without radical measures will lead to large-scale destructive consequences up to the loss of statehood. The significance of the study lies in the fact that a theoretical understanding of the features of institutional transformations will make it possible to develop appropriate control mechanisms and take certain «protective» measures aimed at preserving the family’s essence as a basic stabilizing factor in modern Russian society.","PeriodicalId":486734,"journal":{"name":"Mir nauki. {"title":"Lexico-grammatic mechanisms of linguistic creativity in the speech of modern embroiderers","authors":"Olga Khasanova","doi":"10.15862/23flsk123","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.15862/23flsk123","url":null,"abstract":"The subject of this article is the most frequent linguistic units in the speech of modern embroiderers, which arise as a result of deviations from the language norm and testify to the high linguo-creative potential of the craftswomen discourse. However, the author also draws attention to the lexical unit class that are characteristic of the embroiderers speech and have a terminological character. Productive models for creating new lexical units are subjected to a detailed analysis: suffixation, addition, contraction, truncation of a phrase, abbreviation. The analysis showed that the morphological suffixal way of word formation exceeds in the modern embroiderers speech, addition and abbreviation are represented to a lesser extent. In addition, it was found that one of the active mechanisms for the transformation of lexical units is semantic derivation, which leads to the expansion of the conceptual scope of traditional lexemes. In most cases, this process occurs as a result of metaphorical transfer. The author of the article also considers cases of proverbs transformation in the embroiderers speech, reflecting the special worldview of embroiderers, and also being an opportunity for free self-expression. Most of them are transformations of traditional Russian proverbs, and new variants in speech become more common than their prototypes – canonical proverbs. Changes in the construction-sources are determined by the craftswomen intentions and affect different levels — semantics and structure. At the same time, the replacement of the proverb component becomes the most frequent creative mechanism. The language material collected and analyzed by us allows us to conclude that the speech of modern embroiderers has a high linguistic and creative potential and a wide range of language game markers, indicating the emergence of a special subculture of craftswomen at the present time.","PeriodicalId":486734,"journal":{"name":"Mir nauki.
