Odunga, Marcella Riwo-Abudho
Aims: Small and medium enterprises (SMEs), create jobs and contribute to GDP but SMEs in Kilifi County are facing stagnation and high failure rate. This study set out to test three hypothesis i.e. process innovation has no significant effect on financial performance of SME’s, product innovation has no significant effect on financial performance of SME’s & Structured innovation has no significant effect on the financial performance of SME’s. The study is anchored on Theory of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), Diffusion of innovation Theory and Kane's Theory of Innovation. \u0000Study Design: The study employed explanatory research design with use of both qualitative and quantitative data approaches. \u0000Place and Duration of Study: The study was carried out in the year 2021/2022 in Kilifi County in Kenya. \u0000Methodology: From a target population of 496 registered SMEs, a Sample size of 216 SMEs was drawn using simple random sampling with use of self-administered questionnaires with both open and closed ended questions collecting data from managers/owners of the SMEs. \u0000Results: Correlation results indicated that innovation (product, process and structural) are significantly associated with financial performance. Regression results revealed existence of a significant effect of each innovation on Financial Performance; Business Structural Innovation (B=.106, p= .001), Process innovation (B=.289, p=.003) and Product innovation (B=.143, P<.001). \u0000Conclusions: A key finding is that only one in every five SMEs in Kilifi are past their 8th birthday. Business innovation has the highest variability suggesting most of the SMEs configure their businesses to market needs. Despite business innovation being low in SMEs, it is the most yielding when it comes to its effect on financial performance. Compared to business and process innovation, product innovation has least differences among the SME. It is conclusive that innovation among the SMEs is still low but the innovation-pursuing SMEs are also performance leaders.

The aim of this investigation was to assess the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on employee productivity in Nepalese organizations. The study assesses AI's effect on productivity, that may address the lack of empirical evidence in Nepal. The information was gathered using five-point Likert scale questionnaires administered online. The sample size for the study was 85. The data was analyzed using SPSS software. To explore the direct effect, indirect effect, and total effect of moderating variables, a process tool in SPSS developed by Andrew F. Hayes was used. The findings revealed that quality and AI integration had positive and significant effect on productivity whereas AI user experience and user interface had insignificant effect on employee productivity. The positive correlation between AI integration and productivity signifies the need for organizations to embrace seamless AI adoption. By integrating AI effectively into their workflows, they can streamline processes, harness data-driven insights, and ultimately enhance productivity.

One of the major objectives of monetary policy in Nigeria is economic growth but despite the various monetary efforts that have been adopted by the Central Bank of Nigeria over the years, inflation remains a major threat to Nigeria's economic growth. Despite the increased focus on monetary policy adoption in Nigeria, the country's economic growth remains an issue. High unemployment, low investment, high inflation, and an unstable foreign exchange rate are examples of such issues. These alleged issues are said to have contributed to Nigeria's rapid drop in economic growth. The objective of this paper is to examine the relationship between economic growth, exchange rate, inflation rate, interest rate, and money supply in Nigeria. In this regard, the study employed the Autoregressive-Distributed Lag (ARDL) approach and established a long-run relationship between economic growth and interest rate, inflation, exchange rate, and money supply. Specifically, the findings suggested that in the long run only interest rate has significant effects on economic growth while exchange rate, money supply, and interest rate have a positive relationship with the dependent variable, it was only the inflation rate that has a negative relationship with economic growth in Nigeria. Given the important role of interest rates in promoting economic growth, the study recommends that a significant decrease in interest rates will lead to an increase in the growth of the economy as the reduced interest rate will serve as bait for investors in the Nigerian economy.

To achieve this, a structured questionnaire survey was conducted to collect data. The survey specifically targeted factors such as the ability to overcome negative attitudes, willingness to explore new opportunities, personal attitudes towards entrepreneurship, proactive behaviour, the drive for excellence, and self-assurance in making decisions. A total of 175 participants were purposefully selected to provide comprehensive insights. The Likert scale, a recognized and widely utilized measurement tool, was employed to evaluate the participants' entrepreneurial intention. The results indicate that exposure orientation, personal attitudes, and pursuit of greatness positively influence entrepreneurial intention. This study contributes to the existing literature on entrepreneurial intention by providing context-specific insights for business students in Bangladesh. The study covered six significant behavioural aspects factors those are getting over a negative attitude, being open to new experiences, having a positive attitude, taking action, striving for excellence, and making decisions with confidence.

Dividends represent a critical area of focus due to their implications for bank capital levels, profitability, regulatory compliance, and investor signaling. The literature reviewed spans pre- and post-2008 financial crisis periods and adopts both global and emerging market perspectives. Methodologies include regression analyses, causality tests, descriptive statistics, and financial ratio computations based on regulatory filings, financial statements, and market data datasets. Key findings demonstrate the multifaceted nature of bank dividend strategies, differences across countries, shifts during crises, and complex interplays with financial health metrics. The studies find evidence that dividends provide valuable signals to investors on earnings prospects, aligning with signaling theories. However, interpreting crisis-induced behaviors warrants caution due to short-term deviations. Opportunities exist for further analysis of cross-country variances, crisis responses, and linkages to bank stability. This comparative review enhances academic comprehension of bank dividend policies' motivations, outcomes, and determinants. It highlights the need for judicious balancing of stakeholder demands for returns and growth, an increasingly crucial endeavor amidst global uncertainty.
