This research aimed to determine the most significant features of social media advertising (informativeness, entertainment, irritation, credibility) that influence apparel consumers' brand loyalty. The findings showed that social media advertising significantly impacts consumer brand loyalty in the Sri Lankan apparel retail industry. There was no significant relationship between informativeness and brand loyalty, but there were significant relationships between entertainment, irritation, and credibility. The data did not support a positive relationship between informativeness and brand loyalty, but entertainment had the greatest impact. The researcher has notified the Sri Lankan apparel retail industry to act on the findings and suggests future research in another industry to determine if these dimensions are correlated with the dependable variable.","PeriodicalId":486390,"journal":{"name":"Asian journal of economics, business and accounting","volume":"8 50","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139437768","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Theoretical literature argues that FDI inflow can transfer great advantages to the host country, however, empirical studies show that the benefits of FDI vary greatly across countries. Kenya has traditionally been one of the largest recipients of FDI in Africa, foreign investors provide intangible assets to support the operation of the domestic firms. However, recently Kenya has experienced dwindling FDI levels. Despite an increasing empirical focus on the relationship between foreign inflow and the economy, little is known about the role of FDI in this nexus in Kenya. The study investigated the contribution of foreign direct investment to economic growth in Kenya using an Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) regression approach and causality tests. Secondary time series data for Kenya were used during empirical analysis. The time series data is from 1990 to 2021. The findings indicate that increasing FDI inflow will lead to an increase in economic growth. Additionally, the result indicates trade openness and climate change matter from a growth perspective. Notably, the results show that short-run to long-run foreign direct investment kindles economic growth in Kenya. Accordingly, Kenya must have more effective FDI strategies and pursue macroeconomic policies that attract FDI into the country, offers investor friendly environment, reduces bureaucratic hurdles and addresses the challenges of accumulating domestic investment and foreign exchange, particularly by productively opening the market and allowing FDI inflow to boost investment accumulation and economic growth.","PeriodicalId":486390,"journal":{"name":"Asian journal of economics, business and accounting","volume":"23 22","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139445430","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, equities could have been neglected in this perspective. A sustainable proportional level of equities with the help of a return variable may alter the expectations on bank credit effect, and in this context; this study aims to reveal whether there exists a set of identical determinants for cash holdings in the case of the Turkish construction sector. By assessing a set of aggregate data from the balance sheets of the businesses in this very sector, we have eliminated most of the variables and written two models in which an alternative return indicator is considered an extra independent to significantly presume cash and cash equivalents in the selected sector. We therefore conclude that both return on assets and return on equities could be used interchangeably. In the analysis, the essential variables are revealed as equities on assets and the ratio of bank credits in the short-term on current liabilities. The study also asserts robust results for both independent returns with the same set of predictors in which bank credits are not alone in a leading role, however, equities stand to be qualified as a sustainable contributor to liquidity as well.","PeriodicalId":486390,"journal":{"name":"Asian journal of economics, business and accounting","volume":"58 22","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139451424","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Financial independence can be achieved by optimizing the role of village-owned enterprises (BUMDesa). One of the roles of BUMDesa Srimartani is the management of the Kembangsari Traditional Market. This study aims to analyze: 1) merchant and consumer satisfaction, 2) determinants of consumer satisfaction, and 3) the influence of consumer satisfaction on the local economy, using Importance-Performance Analysis, consumer satisfaction index, and Partial Least Square. The results showed that the level of satisfaction with market management was included in the satisfied category. Factors that influence the level of consumer satisfaction are accessibility, product condition, and physical infrastructure. The responsibility factor does not significantly affect customer satisfaction. Local economy can be considerably influenced by consumer satisfaction. Increased consumer satisfaction causes the market to develop faster and increases the acceptance of market levies. As a result, the local economy will grow through an increase in the original local revenue.","PeriodicalId":486390,"journal":{"name":"Asian journal of economics, business and accounting","volume":"37 4","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139452271","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
