In today’s digital world, where information is presented in various graphic formats, graphic competence is an essential skill for elementary school students. Graphic competence involves the ability to understand, create, and analyze graphics using computer technology. The main aspects of elementary school students’ graphic competence formation through the usage of computer-oriented teaching tools have been determined. Modern approaches to teaching graphic skills and their influence on the educational process are considered. The practical aspects of the implementation of computer-oriented teaching tools for improving students’ graphic competence are highlighted. It is noted that graphic training during primary school education is crucial for students’ future education, as it lays the foundations for the basics of graphic literacy. However, one of the main shortcomings in the educational process related to the study of graphic disciplines is the lack of unity in teaching methods between secondary and higher schools.
 It is considered that computer-based teaching tools represent a wide range of technological tools and programs designed to facilitate and facilitate learning through the usage of computers. These tools can be successfully implemented in the educational process at all levels, from primary school to higher education. They cover a wide range of technologies and methodologies, including learning software, interactive exercises, video tutorials, virtual reality, and more. It is determined that augmented reality technology opens up new opportunities for improving elementary school students’ graphic competence. It facilitates the visualization of educational material, ensures the active participation of students in learning, and promotes the graphic content creation. It has been proven that competence-oriented tasks (COTs) in cartography and topography provide high-quality training for students of the first (bachelor’s) and second (master’s) levels of higher education. An own definition of the COTs of the cartographic direction is proposed. The issue of cartographic teaching aids development has been highlighted, and their conditions have been analyzed within future geography teacher training. The peculiarities of problem-solving method in cartography and topography for students of higher education institutions are revealed. A diagram of the advantages of the COTs of cartographic orientation over traditional tasks has been created according to their application stages. They are the following: life orientation, a motive that leads to a resolution, independence in decision-making and high cognitive complexity. The positive features of training results with the elements of COTs have been specified.
 COTs of the cartographic direction have been developed, which can be used during the mastering of the disciplines «Cartography with the Fundamental of Topography», «Methodology of Teaching Geography», and «Methodology of Teaching Geography in a Senior Specialized School» by students of higher education in Poltava V. G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University (PNPU) and Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University (ASPU). It has been found that a specialist training capable of making creative and responsible decisions aimed at the harmonious development of the socio-cultural sphere is a priority goal of higher education institutions that train cultural experts. Approved in 2020, the Standard of Higher Education in the specialty 034 Culturology among the list of competencies of a master’s graduate highlights their ability to professionally diagnose, forecast, project, and model the cultural development of various regions and manage cultural institutions, as well as the corresponding structural subdivisions of enterprises and institutions, taking into account economic, legislative and ethical aspects. It, among other things, requires the formation of managerial, analytical, project, marketing, and research skills in the master of cultural studies.
 It has been established that the discipline “Modern Strategies of Cultural Policy” was introduced as a mandatory subject at Poltava V. G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University in 2020 after the approval of the Standard. It is studied in the first year of master’s studies, and the volume is 3 ECTS credits.
 The analysis of the educational content has shown that the educational discipline purpose is realized through the study of the following topics: «The concept of «strategy», «strategic thinking» and «strategic policy», «сultural policy: purpose, characteristics and tools»; «Main models of cultural policy»; «International principles of cultural policy»; «Cultural policy of Ukraine». Their content corresponds to the achievements of modern science. It is balanced and covers various aspects of cultural policy, taking into account Ukrainian practice and foreign experience. It has been proven that the educational discipline «Modern Strategies of Cultural Policy» at Poltava V. G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University is an essential component of the master of cultural studies training both in the context of the requirements of the Standard and in terms of the practical needs of training a specialist.  Taking into account the Recommendations of the European Parliament and the Council of Europe, the list of competencies of managers of socio-cultural and educational structures is outlined; cultural, social and civic competence is defined as the basis of effective interaction of managers with different age groups of people in the process of professional activity. The main task of specialists of this group is the creation of long-term relations between social communities and society in the conditions of martial law in Ukraine, based on their readiness to quickly search for non-standard models of organizing the social, cultural and educational environment and innovative humanitarian and pedagogical technologies.
 In line with the requirements for managers of socio-cultural and educational institutions, the signs of management of the 21st century are highlighted (values, norms, traditions, corporate style, image, organizational culture, corporate team spirit); the requirements for specialists were systematized and the best examples of the world experience of implementing sociocultural and educational projects were clarified (the Anglo-American model of management – the diversity and self-sufficiency of sociocultural complexes, well-known initiatives of charitable foundations, volunteer practice; the European model – types of training and internships in the best sociocultural and educational institutions, multicultural education of managers, etc.).

 The author focuses on the study and analysis of such approaches as the Flipped Classroom, case study technology, and literary analysis of cases, the usage of virtual reality, and the project activity method.
 The article highlights how these innovative methods can change the traditional approach to language learning, allowing higher education students to actively engage in foreign language learning and develop their linguistic competence. Flipped Classroom allows you to shift the emphasis from lecture teaching to the independent work of higher education students, while case study technology stimulates analytical thinking and solving practical problems. Literary analysis of cases contributes to the study of real situations of using a foreign language, and the usage of virtual reality makes learning more exciting. The method of project activity supports the development of communication and organizational skills of educational process participants.
 All these pedagogical approaches are considered in the context of their influence on the deepening students’ linguistic competence and the possibilities of their active learning and self-development. It has been determined that innovative approaches usage in labor education is the main element for the efficient students’ key competencies formation, such as knowledge, skills, and developed creative abilities. It is noted that the systematic implementation of innovative approaches in labor training guarantees a smooth and consistent development of student’s skills and competencies, which makes the learning process more understandable and attractive for them. It is substantiated that thanks to innovative approaches, education quality improves significantly. The expediency of using an analytical approach is substantiated. It has made it possible to carry out relevant logical operations: 1) search for essential features of the subject; 2) establishing the coincidence or discrepancies of the formulations, which have significant or insignificant features; 3) finding out the features of the research subject and separating them from the rest of the features; 4) unification of individual features in the definition of a concept. The basic and derived research concepts are grouped into blocks. The first one includes concepts that reveal modern approaches to determining the essence of professional future masters of pharmacy education («professional education», «higher education», «higher pharmaceutical education», «higher education standard», «educational program», «Master of Pharmacy»). The second block includes concepts characterizing the didactic units of teaching pharmaceutical chemistry («teaching methodology», «pharmaceutical chemistry», «learning content», «teaching methods», «teaching tools», «methodical system of teaching pharmaceutical chemistry», «competence-oriented methods of teaching pharmaceutical chemistry for future masters of pharmacy»). Structural elements (components) of each outlined concept have been singled out. It has created a methodological basis for a comprehensive study of the essential content of the key research concept, which is «teaching of pharmaceutical chemistry for future masters of pharmacy». It has also allowed authors to formulate their position on its interpretation as a purposeful process of interaction between the teacher and students on mastering science, the subject field of which consists of questions about the sources and methods of obtaining natural and synthetic medicinal compounds, their structure, physical and chemical properties, their transformation, the relationship between the chemical structure of a substance and its effects on the human body. The characteristic features of students’ mandatory (standardized) scientific research activity, which is related to the performance of coursework and qualification diploma theses, have been determined. We have also revealed a number of methods and means of voluntary, but motivated or interested involvement of student youth in scientific research activities through the performance of scientific, technical and project tasks by students during the period of industrial practices, participation in the work of educational and scientific laboratories, student design bureaus, design workshops associations and creative unions, fulfillment of production orders.
 Carrying out research projects encourages students to study and use innovative solutions, technologies, equipment, etc. In this way, the relationship between students’ scientific research and innovative activity in the process of professional training of future specialists in creative specialties is proven; in particular, examples of future engineers’ experimental scientific research activity and future designers’ project-technological artistic and creative scientific work are given.
 In the process of scientific research, the essence and significance of research and innovation activities of students of creative specialties have been determined for future specialists’ professional self-development and the formation of personal qualities, competencies, knowledge, abilities and skills in certain fields of knowledge.

I am the Unity of the Eternal Dream» project implementation. The following methods have been used: source studies (studying scientific research onR. O. Kyrychenko’s song creativity); analytical (understanding the role of the development of students’ vocal and choral skills in the process of preserving the cultural heritage of the Ukrainian singer), as well as the method of theoretical generalization. The scientific novelty of the research consists in determining the innovative nature of the project «I am Ukraine. I am the Unity of the Eternal Dream», presented in honor of the 80th anniversary of the birth of the famous singer Raisa Kyrychenko. Its purpose is to support and develop the Ukrainian vocal art of student youth, enrich the cultural achievements of Ukraine, and realize the creative potential of the younger generation.
 The main objectives of the project have been solved. They are the following: the development of spiritual enrichment and creative growth of young talents and their teachers; the exchange of pedagogical and performance experience through master classes, lectures-concerts, and thematic lessons; and raising the professional level of performers and creative teams of the art school.
 The project «I am Ukraine. I am the Unity of the Eternal Dream» is one of the significant results of Poltava City School of Arts «Raisa Kyrychenko Small Academy of Arts». The article examines the importance of graphic competence formation in creating sketches of graphic material in the context of the growing role of digital technologies in the educational process. The article analyzes scientific research aimed at understanding graphic competence and its role in the modern educational process.
 The author has analyzed various approaches to defining the category «competence» and revealed the main components of graphic competence. It is shown that this competence includes not only the technical skills of creating graphic materials but also creativity, the ability to analyze and visualize information, as well as the ability to work with various tools and resources that are opened up thanks to the digital transformation of education.
 The influence of digitalization on students’ creative potential and their ability to translate ideas into graphic material has been studied. A comprehensive approach to the educational process that takes into account traditional methods and modern information technologies is proposed. The advantages associated with the effectiveness of pedagogical approaches and methods aimed at graphic competence formation are highlighted. In particular, the teacher’s role in this competence formation has been investigated and the importance of an individual approach to each student has been emphasized.
 Examples of pedagogical practices aimed at creating conditions for the development of creative thinking and secondary school students’ graphic competence formation are considered. The author has considered the possibilities of using various software tools and online resources to increase the level of students’ graphic competence.
 Based on the analysis, recommendations aimed at further improving students’ graphic competence in the conditions of digitization of education are proposed.  The article highlights the significant topic of secondary school students’ graphic competence formation in the conditions of the digital transformation of education.
